It's nearly Christmas and that means there is very few shopping days left till Christmas, there's also something exciting about to happen, in that in the next few days I get myself a NEW COMPUTER... This will mean that I GET SHADOWS and I'm super excited! For now though, I'm getting myself my Christmas presents sorted, before our family Christmas party!

I feel like doing something pretty today, something that isn't really a normal look or style for me, but with my same usual fairytale flair perhaps... Something of a more modern fairytale princess, in a less and typical style of dress but looking very very pretty none-the-less...
I guess you might say that this is a look of the day for me, it's a dress that as soon as I saw it I had to have and even though the colour I chose was not a normal one for me, I cannot get enough of it's soft pastel shade.
I went for a walk through the beautiful Outer Garden in this gorgeous dress by Kaithleen's and was immediately joined by a group of butterflies... What is the term for a group of butterflies - opens google - apparently it's a Kaleidoscope... A Kaleidoscope of butterflies sounds so pretty!

In RL I'm NOT a beachy kinda person. I don't like the beach and I'm not really interested in sitting around on one when it's hot... In winter, when it's cold and deserted it's a different story however. Yet I've never had interest in a hot sunny beach in RL...
SL that's a totally different thing, there are so many pretty beaches where a doll like Rudh can have some fun... Frolicking in the waves and playing games on the sand...
Would you believe that the idea of this picture came about because I wanted something to show off my hands?! LOL!!! Basically I had the most gorgeous set of new rings delivered to me from the store that is PSYCHO.Byts and I fell in love... I HAD to share them... Unfortunately the end picture was a LITTLE too far off, so I've been good and taken close-ups too!!!

It's a lovely sunny Monday today, and although it's evening, it's still rather warm. It's too warm for me and the summer hasn't even started, but this time of year does bring one thing to mind that I LOVE the fact that Sunflowers are coming out!
I've always loved Sunflowers, and they are my favourite of all flowers and I guess because they are so sunny and happy and friendly...
The sunflowers used in this pose are actually a pose prop from Image Essentials called a Field of Flowers, and they seemed so pretty when I rezzed them I couldn't resist spending time playing with them.
I had to accessorise to match the flowers, and luckily for me yellow is my favourite colour. I found a dress from [I<3F] with a colour change hud and some adorable BOOM sunflowers for my hair... It was a pretty combination and a great day! I was even able to find the most adorable matching tattoo... It's a Sun Dance Tattoo from DAPPA, which is available at the current round of anyBody, it's definitely one that I will be going back to although I'm not sure it will be my everyday inkings...

I've always loved fairy tales, and believed that true love can conquer all... That's mostly because I was brought up on a diet of Disney Movies and later romance novels... Yet there was a pose released recently from Image Essentials that I couldn't let slip away... I HAD to try to find out if kissing the frog would turn him into a red hot Viking prince?!

I fancied trying my hand at something a little cute today, a little retro pin-up too perhaps, and I kinda got what I wanted... PLUS PIGS!!!
I guess it's a little bit of a look of the day, or more like a LOOK AT MY PIGS post lol...
These gorgeous little piglets, and the dress I'm wearing too actually, are available at Hentai Fair until February 28th, from Tentacio. They are in a gacha, and I will admit that I got lucky getting colours and pets that I wanted - including the rare piglet that I am holding - but the set is SO CUTE and very pin-up that I'm really happy with it!!
While on the subject of Hentai Fair, I should probably mention today's wig too... This is a new style from #Foxy called "Sugar", which I guess works well with the cooking theme LOL. I guess I'm lucky how well everything seemed to come together for this picture lol... There are so many photographers in Second Life, each with their own amazing and unique abilities to create pretty works of art... Some focus on landscapes, others on fashion, me I'm just a weird mix of randomness in one little photo taker. I know I'm not the best out there, I do it as a relaxation and a hobby, but I've never been great at being a basic, straight up fashion photographer... I try, but it's so hard to get the perfect shot!
So when I was sent not one but two pairs of awesome boots from the great mind behind 1313 Mockingbird Lane, I felt like giving it another shot... Making the boots a main focus, and letting them do the talking - these boots weren't made for walking... LOL...
My first pair of boots is what I've been referring to as my Party All Night Long Boots... These are SO FREAKING CUTE!!! I like them so much, that I'd have bought these LOL... They are set called Monstah Stawmpers, and are a collaboration between 1313 Mockingbird Lane and [QE] Designs. I love the Crocodile skin texture too them, and the fact that you can colour various parts in bright colours!!! These boots make me SMILE!!!!
My second pair of 1313 Mockingbird Lane Boots are the Sleigh Boots, which are available until February 28th at The Liaison Collaborative. Now I'll admit here that these are less my style, but that's not the fault of the boots. They are really well made, with texture change for the furry and hearty parts as well as a variety of boot colours! They are just a bit too cute for me?! Sorry hope, that doesn't get me into trouble lol...
These different boots really great and show how versatile the store 1313 Mockingbird Lane really is, a variety of different things come out of this place, and it's one of the reasons I really enjoy the store.

Unless you've never actually read my blog, you may have realised that I've been dealing with a little depression recently, I need more to do in life since losing my main job, and it's been a massive burden on my mind. SL seems to have fast moved through the Autumn colours and is already abundant with snowy scenes, Christmas is well and truly on it's way to domination in SL. Christmas is abound, with sales events and themed releases springing up all over the grid... IT'S NOVEMBER PEOPLE!!!
Still I can't help letting the magic take over just a little, I want to let the magical pretty fantasy feeling wash over me, and I guess, what better way to start than with a little sparkle!
It could be the sparkle in the air that this time of year seems to have, which drew me to these amazing crystals and throne at Whimsical - they are SO Whimsical and so devine, I was powerless to resist... Made by the amazing {LORE} store, the throne is available with adult and PG versions, and the Crystals are available in light and dark versions with 2 different styles up for grabs...
It made me create an Ice Queen feel in my story telling mind... A princess abandoned in a the snowy caverns, deep underground... Twisted perhaps into someone that ruled with an icy glare and a chilling beauty. Her cavernous grotto lit with tiny crystal lamps - which are actually the Moroccan Lamps from The Looking Glass - glinting their warm light off the dangerous looking icicles that adorn her Winter Crown - available from The Half Moon Market at Whimsical!

OK SO I know that I'm a little early with Halloween themed posts but I figure it's half way through September and I'm trying to do things that cheer me up at the moment, and well Halloween and dead Rudh seems to be one of those things, that's why today I'm doing something a little dark and macabre... Little did I think that I'd be able to work on a picture of someone that has died, after recent event, but it seems that the horror pictures are one of Rudh's happy places!!!
So anyway, as I said, it's ALMOST HALLOWEEN, my favourite time of the year!!! I love the other holidays too, well some more than others anyway, but I always get so excited right about this time of year hehe... I'm going to start off my Halloween fun a little early, and get myself into the spirit of the season...
We're currently setting up for the Halloween Event that takes place every year at the Gators MC sim, and boy is it a LOT of work... There will be more details coming closer to the time but for now just something to get you into the mood...
