Naughty Thots Being Censored

Hard to believe that the month of August is ALMOST gone, and by the end of today we're FINALLY entering the Brrrr months... Autumn has ALWAYS been more of my happy place, Spring is pretty and Winter is fine SURE, but Autumn... I'm happiest there! 
The other place that I ALWAYS seem happiest at the moment is when I can lose myself in a good book. Now I'll admit that lately I haven't been able to, but it's coming back slowly and I have to get my ass into gear so I can still meet this year's target LOL... The sudden interest in reading again is definitely having a few effects on other aspects of my life too... 

It's definitely had an influence on my blogging choice today LOL... I'm still not in the happiest of places, and life is still dragging me by the thong - which is one of my new favourite statements on a shirt thanks to The Kiwi Co - but I guess I have one thing on the brain - lol thanks to everfaery's Thot Bubbles - and these books are helping me act on it... It's been a while since the bad girl in me was released, and my cat has become a "Censor Cat" - from Tardfish - to hide my slutty shame LOL...

Twenty Years, but no Celebrating!

Today is Rudh's, and therefore MY, 20th Rezday in Second Life... Hard to believe that I've been coming into the crazy world today for 20 long years. Normally I'd be all excited, celebrating and treating the day like my second real Birthday, but this year I don't really feel like celebrating especially after the news of the last few days... 
So this year I'm doing a little reflecting, a lot of thinking and a fair bit of how will my future look going forward... Will I be in Second Life next year when Rudh turns a legal drinking age for America?! 

Over the last two days we have had the announcements that two of the world's greats have left us... Dolly Parton was an Icon, even if you weren't into country music it's not possible to have missed her. EVERYONE has jammed out at some point to a little Jolene, or a bit of 9-5 when the work day was terrible... Tim Curry was one of MY personal Icons, he was a pirate, a blob of evil tar, the world's most twisted clown and many other things but for me, he was the best "Sweet Transvestite" that ever lived... There will be no other 'real' Frankenfurter although others try, so can we do the "Time Warp" and bring them both back?! 
These losses on top of losing Mum last month, and I'm positively NOT in a celebration kinda mood... Although Rudh turning 20 isn't something I can and should ignore... We're not only in double digits now, we're in our second decade... I started when we didn't even have more than prims to play with and flexi was becoming a new thing. Now look at us, we're deeply in our mesh era back to adding clothing layers and have more choices than ever before, yet still people make it a competition and a reason to fight with each other. I love Second Life, it's brought me some of my best things in life, but it's also caused me a LOT of heartache too... Do I miss all the people and things that have left my life? No, not really, not all of them at least... Would I change the way my SL has been? No, not at all, though maybe in hidsight I might have avoided one or two people I knew... Do I think I'll be here another 10 years? By that time I'll be 50, who knows where I'll be?! 
Happy Rezday Rudh... Thank you for being my doll for all these years and putting up with all the crap I've made you do LOL...

Farmers Market for Lunch

It's been the last of my days off for the weekend, and I am ready to go back to work this week.. Just 4 more days until I can go back to England and right now that seems more important than ever as Mum has been in hospital and I'm worried about her... At this rate, the real reason for going now will be a whole lot less wonderful and a whole lot more scary other things... 
I wanted to try and have a day to relax as I waited for news, I decided that since I'm living on the farm I was going to get out and see the countryside... 

I stopped at the Meadow Market, a gorgeous little farmers market - which is a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - and stopped at the Mobile Bakery and grabbed myself some Junk Food in the form of a Deli Sandwich filled with cheese and pickles and salad! The jalapeno chips look like I should grab a bag of those too... OOOOH and they have a blind date with a book stand... I've always wanted to try those, though I worry if I get a book I've already read I'll be a little disappointed LOL...

A Little Dane-ish Basketball!

Well it's a HOT day today... How can it legally be allowed to go from 12degrees centigrade to 27degrees centigrade in less than a week... We're experiencing Summer temperatures in MAY and last week it was freaking cold here... WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON? 
Since work was so crap today I NEED to find a way to let off a little steam tonight... I've decided to do something wild and crazy, I'm taking my puppies out for a little fun?! 

I took my Danes - from Jian - out for a game of Street Basketball - a backdrop from PALETO - and they seemed to be having a LOT of fun playing ball by themselves. I don't know if the local basketball playing boys felt like it was good too... I'm a Hot Mess!

Right now I'm a little bit of a hot mess, I'm tired and sad because for the last few days my parents have been here to visit... I have LOVED having them here, it's been great to catch up with my parents, it's been a bit of a relief to see my mum and talk to her face-to-face about the chemo that she's having AND it's been great for my Dad to get a chance to see the house and talk about the work being done... 
Though now,  more than normal, it was hard to see them leave... I'm left here feeling upset and scared and really, pretty much like a Hot Mess... 

I decided to lose myself in oneof my books about bad boys and stalking and creepy perviness, I need something dark and totally different from reality... Some people watch TV and I like to read smut, but sometimes the things do have a little effect on my picture making process... I may be a Hot Mess, but I'm going to be the kind of Hot Mess that could be the fantasy of one of the boys in my books...

Magic and Mirages

After a lovely long day off, I've decided to just take life slowly for a few days... Work and living in this camping place - it's not camping but it feels like I'm living in a holiday home - are beginning to grind on me... I don't like it here, I HATE living somewhere there is little to no privacy during the day, and I am clinging to the sanctity of when the shop shuts... During the day, I find myself hiding out, day dreaming and willing the time away so that I can do chores I need to do... 

While I was lazing today, I spent a lot of time reading books... I can't deny that I'm not minding too much with the relaxing that I'm being forced to do lol... It's definitely making my mind wander to far off places as I lose my mind in the fantasy of my books. 
Today, I was lost in a world of something similar to Aladdin's Arabian Nights. I think that for some reason I let my mind drift into that place because I put on a pair of flats in the new Bloom Set - created by The Kiwi Co - and although there's no jeans in Aladdin, I just let my mind drift... It didn't help that I picked up a Genie's Lamp from the table, I was still shocked to see a Genie appear... It all lead to a little imagination and a Mirage of Marrakesh...

Today is Cleaning Day!

It's been a day of cleaning and sorting for me today... Still so much to do before we have to move out of our house for 6 months. I'm stressing, and I'm wondering HOW we wil ever get things done... It's not just the packing and sorting, it's also the bloody basic chores that we have to do on a normal daily basis... It's just getting to be too much... I had to find a way to get through the drudgery...

For me there is only one way to get through the cleaning mundanity at the moment and that is some very loud cheesy music... I've been dancing around today listening to the old boyband classics... Take That, Boyzone, Five and many other of the original Brit boybands of the 90s and 00s... Take That will always be my true love, and if you've no idea who I'm talking about you're welcome to ask me any time. I'm going to see them again this summer with my mum, sister and cousin and I'm SUPER excited!!! I cannot wait... 
Still time to get on with the cleaning... I do that and have time to dance with my Dancing Kittiens - from MishMish at Kustom9 until February 10th - they seem to be enjoying the music as much as I am...

2025's Dumpster Fire

Well hello hello, welcome back after the Christmas festivities, and I hope that you had the most wonderful of Christmasses... I've been thoroughly spoilt and had enough books for at least a half year of reading... My reading total this year was 70ish and I had more than half of that for Christmas... Yet the year isn't over, we still have a few more days left of 2025 before the celebrationof New Year and that's where I will be getting off for a bit... I'm going to go home to see my parents...

2026 will be a massive year in my house... I am going to be celebrating my 40th birthday on March 19th, Hell and I will be moving to temporary accomodations from February15th as we have some MAJOR rennovations taking place in our home and there are so many things worrying me about that ranging from issues with builders and work being done to my poor little cat being stressed as we're moving from place to place, and my mother will begin her chemotherapy, but there will be more about that when I'm feeling strong enough to share the details.. Things will be insanely busy next year and I am thoroughly in need of a rest... I'm going to set fire to this dumpster full of 2025 garbage... A 2025 Dumpster Fire if you will - which in this case is actually a toy created by Junk Food for the current round of The Fifty and comes in a package as well as loose that can be rezzed... 
I'll send my love, hugs and well wishes for the end of 2025 and see you in 2026...

The Wraiths of a Christmas Spirit

Why did I think that things might get better soon?? I think I jinxed myself and now not only am I having a terrible visit from Mother Nature, I'm also full of cold AGAIN!!! I feel like I am a total grinch right now, maybe Grinch isn't even strong enough... Maybe I'm reaching full on Scrooge level... Bah Humbug... 

I've been feeling so grumpy and there is NOTHING I can do to cheer myself up... Even the book Advent Calendar that my hubby made for me as a main Christmas present this year makes me smile but I soon get grumpy again because of everything else that's going on... 
Maybe I'll slip into the world of a Christmas Carol... Maybe I'll let the darkness in me draw the spirits of Christmasses gone by from the old Gothmas Christmas Tree in the hall - which happens to be a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis for the SL Shop & Hop - and there is maybe some hope that they can save me... These spirits are not the ghosts from the Muppet version, although the last of the three in that film was a bit daunting when I saw it as I was a kid... These Wraith Skulls - a release from Tardfish for the current round of The Men's Department - of Christmas present are looming fast and I'm not sure I'm awake enough to avoid them...

Stayin' Spooky

I think I blinked and I missed everything that has been going on lately... HOW CAN IT ALREADY BE THE MIDDLE OF NOVEMBER?! We're 15 days into a 30 day month and that means we're half way through, Christmas is just around the corner and it will soon be 2026 - my 40th year?! I cannot believe how fast things are going... I still wanna be spooky?! What the heck?!

I am still living in a bit of a dark space in my mind right now, so staying spooky seems far much more of a fun way to share these feelings than letting people see the true levels of the down flow I am in... I have a lot of problem and stress happening in my RL right now, SL seems to be a place I am hiding away and since I don't even seem to be social in SL at the moment things are a pretty peaceful place... We will see how things go, maybe I'll have to make some major life changes and start trying to be more proactive, but I have about 6 weeks left of 2025 to figure that out... For now though I'm staying spooky until Christmas decides to let me feel festive!!

Magical Dolly Monsters

Today was one of those boring but busy days at work, and because it was crappy weather, people were just hanging around and doing nothing but eating... It was hard trying to remain calm and not get mad at people for being like a plague of locusts that ate everything in sight... Due to this fact, right now I am freaking exhausted... 
That's what happens when you end up working hard and there never seems to be a break insight... Even a weekend doesn't seem long enough... 

Rudh has taken up a new challenge recently... She's been working hard on some magical new friends for herself, she wanted a collection of adorable new monsters in her life since the monsters that she surrounds herself by are far too much for her to hande right now... 
She's taken over her sisters Tailor Set - which was a past event release from ANTAYA - at her place in Briar Court - which is actually a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - and has been working really hard to replace the monsters around her with monsters that are better... A Soft & Spooky Collection - from Nylon Outfitters - of friends. It has kept her awake for far too long, and she may have a little insomnia right now, but as she's falling asleep it is the magic of her dreams that starts to to bring these new little friends to life...

Spiced Apple Pony Treats

It is day one of three off today and it's fairly unusal that I'd ever get those days off in a row together... I have so much to do over the next three days though that it won't feel much like a true rest but I GUESS I'm just going to make the most of it... Today is the day I'll be getting chores done, I'm working on it now to get the day for rest tomorrow... 

One of my favourite things to do on my day off is look after the animals... Down on our little farm in the pefectly happy garden that HellBone built for me which is our SL family home... We have lots and lots of pets in the farm but recently we're the proud parents of the adorable Little Ponies - from MishMish - and they are bundles of chaos... They are eating me out of house and home, I've bought so many bags of Hay Neighbor Horse Feed and these Spiced Apple Pony Crunch Treats - both of which are from Junk Food for The Dog & Pony Show until September 28th - which actually smell so good, that I HAD to try one... Not that it would be bad for me right?

Magical Falling Leaves

It has really felt like an Autumn day today... I love love love that crisp cold feeling in the air of the early morning, then the sun was shining through my bedroom window as I lounged after my shower and it was heavenly, and the colours are changing and it's sweater weather and the dark coming earlier means we can have candles and coziness and delicious dinners that we don't eat in Summer because it's too hot... The list could go on and I am happy it's time of the year that makes me feel best... The magic is alive, while the word is changing... 

The magic of the Autumn is brilliant, it's beautiful in Springtime when things are coming to life but in Autumn when things are preparing for their Winter sleep and the colours paint the trees to look like fire and of course, the magical fae that are in charge of the changes are both mystical and dance with the falling leaves in the light of the setting sun... 
This fa is very shy though, you'll never see her real eyes... She looks at the world through her mask, the Crown of Nocturna - which in this case is a white version that I have cheekily re-coloured for blogging purposes and the colours available are gorgeous but weren't right for what I needed, the mask is from BeSpoke and it's TOTALLY GORGEOUS - and it lets her magic paint the worlds in shades of orange...

Why do I always get sick?!

Someone tell me why?! I have a question that I NEED an answer to... Someone tell me why, whenever the season changes do I seemingly instantly catch a cold and feel like shit?! 
It's like as soon as the season decides it's time to change whether it's to Spring or Autumn, and other's start to get coughs and sneezes, I am automatically primed to get sick... It didn't take long but yep... I've got the lurgy... 

I came home early on Saturday. I tried hard but I hadn't actually been able to work a full shift... 
I spent MOST of today, curled up in my bed snoozing and I was trying to read in the time that I wasn't asleep. I wanted to do some SL things but it didn't take long before I found myself being escorted back to bed with a bowl of chicken soup, a cup of tea, my squishy plushie Louie Cat - from Snuggle&Co -  and my choice of a favourite movie to relax... He wouldn't let me Lord of the Rings, so can you tell what I forced him to watch?! LOL... Do you have a favourite go to movie when you want something comforting? Oh and before you answer that, can you pass me some more paracetamol?!

Come On, Play With Fire...

I am going to rant tonight about pet peeves because today people were getting on my nerves... I KNOW everyone has pet peeves, things that irritate them that other people do and I know that I may even be someone who irritates others around me but while working I've definitely developed a longer list of things that people that do that irritate the heck outta me... So let's discuss things shall we?! 

I've said it regularly that I work in retail tourism, but that would be in a cheese shop for those of you that are interested, and working in a setting like that you see so many things on a daily basis that make me wanna slap someone...
Firstly, one of the things is the way people act around free samples... Putting dirty hands into bowls of cheese after pushing the tongs used for picking them up out of the way, is just RUDE... Barging people out of the way just to get at the free samples, is just RUDE... Acting like free samples is anal you can eat buffet, is just RUDE... Though I think for me, one of the worst that I have to just shake my head and walk away from HAS to be the way people chew... Slapping their lips when they chew UGHHHH...
Don't even get me started on people that chew gum - which I am totally not against - and then rather thanputting the gum into the bin, they stick it under the table top or the nearest shelf... That's not just rude, that's a DICK MOVE!!!! If I see anyone doing that, they are playing with fire...

Card Magic for a Royal?!

I am currently in a VERY deep rut... I seem to put together an outfit that I LOVE, that I feel happy showing off and being seen in, and then when it comes down to actually taking the picture, I feel like I'm way off and it's not good enough. I don't know if I'm just in an unhappy place right now, or if I'm genuinely just over thinking that my pictures aren't what I want them to be and subconciously comparing them to others again... It's like being a magician that's rubbish at card tricks right now... 

I'd never be a good magician I am far too worried about putting on a good show and I'd end up being ill... I'm terrible at putting on a show, though saying that I put on a show of being happy and confident and smily most of the time and right now that mask has slipped... 
I feel like I'd be lost in my own mind, a Wonderland of sorts and I feel lost... Magic or no magic, I'm feeling lost... One thing I do know is that I can still put a kick ass outfit together, least I won't lose that skill I suppose, but then that's like putting on a mask and I'm very good at that... 
Knowing me, I'd be wandering down a Grand Hall - a backdrop from Paparazzi - heading to do a magic show for the queen and it would all go horribly wrong...

Uwila, the Keepers of the Quartz

Today I had the day off and I felt like I needed a little magic, things are beginning to look a lot like Spring and the sun has finally started defrosting the Netherlands but I get the feeling that by the time my Birthday gets here the weather may have changed a little.. I NEEDED some magic... I called out into the eather and found a magical being with a store that needed to be told... 

Within the Ivy covered hallways - a backdrop from Paparazzi - of the castle there are a wide range of magical beings gathering... It was the arrival of the Uwila - which happens to be a head and body release from BeSpoke - that caused the most stir. The ethereal, celestial bird like beings are keepers of the Ephemera Quartz, and they harvest the magic through their Magus Rods - a release from Quills & Curiosities - in the hopes that Spring will be a happy, wonderful one...

As the Angel waits...

Sometimes inspiration can be a weird and wonderful thing... I never know where I am going to find inspiration, and I never know from one day to the next what my brain will come up with. Sometimes I find something that other people make amazing pretties with and they go another way in my head, and other times I take something and use it in a way that's totally different from what it's meant... I LOVE when inspiration strikes me and when it comes together and ends up looking pretty...  

I tend to be crazy, random and silly, I do dark and grungy things, I do things that are considered smut - least it would be if I read them in my books - but something soft and romantic are actually harder for me... I find decorative and some other theme pictures hard to do, but the pretty, soft, romance is a hard thing for me to achieve. I NEVER feel like I could do it proper justice... 
Then The Kiwi Co created Celeste Noir and that was buried deep inside me cried... She's not your average, innocent angel, she's the kind that's close to falling from grace. Spending her evenings waiting in the tower for her darkly, demonic lover to appear and ravish her on the Glimmerveil Dreambed - from everfaery - under the canopy of flowers...

Ready to Hustle

I've been having a lovely lazy Sunday, it's great when things are few and far between and I get to have a lazy day. I fed the washing machine, and then decided to get myself busy... I was going to get my hustle on, a chance to make a little cash and get into the action, while having myself some fun along the way... 

I'm gonna get my hustle on, I wanna go learn something new... I am going to learn all about the game of Pool so that I can become a pool shark... There's a brand new Pool Hall opened up in the Cocktails & Dreams Bar - a backdrop created by Synnergy.Tavis - but if you ook for the weird guy in the white t-shirt, he will teach you all the tricks of the trade for a cut of the profits... 
One thing he taught me was to look cute but casual, dressing up too much might make me seem like too much of a trickster, so cute but casual it is... Some simple but decorated Sweet Soul Jeans - which happen to be a new release from The Kiwi Co and although the release also includes a cardigan and boots, it's the pants that win the coo points from this reease for me - and a comfy but giving a cute reveal  of a little skin in the form of a Tuli Sweater - from miss chelsea - on top and I think I am ready to hustle in the pool hall and win the big bucks, or at least a drink or two...

Wolves on a Full Moon

November 15th is a Full Moon, and it is the last super moon of the year... Apparently it's a Beaver Moon, though I'm not sure what that's about and why... Maybe someone knows something somewhere, perhaps Google knows...
Unfortunately that makes people go crazy, NOT that I need any excuse to be a little random because that's exactly what I feel most of the time... For some reason I ended up thinking of a werewolf on the full moon and well... One random thing lead to another... 

Only in this case the cow wasn't the one jumping over the moon, the werewolf was living her best Ceres era... It's a time in a young werewolf's life when the change makes them extra springy - and it's something that I just totally made up because I can lol - but during this little werewolf's Ceres Era - thanks to the amazing Jeans, Waist Sweater, Shoes and Socks created by The Kiwi Co, in collaboration with the Ceres Hairstyle by TRUTH - not only was she ready to jump, she was ready to fly over the moon... Crazy stunting through the skatepark and putting on a show for her puppy friends...
