Send in the Clowns

You know how you can tell when I have days normally, because my pictures tend to be a little more of the crazy and wild and adventurous. I have had such a productive day today and managed to take so many pictures so that I am prepared and ready whenever the blogging desire takes me... 
Today was a special day, I started putting things on and randomly... BOOM I was lost in a magical world of wonder, chaos and entertainment... Today, somehow I ended up being swept away to the Circus... 

I know it's weird but I always end up thinking of horror when I think of the circus, I guess it's something to do with IT and a dislike of clowns but then again there is another side to the circus that is sparkle and glamour and glitz... The tight-rope walker, the lion tamer, the trapeeze artist and the ringmaster, it's not all creepy clowns and horrible pranks... 
So today I'm in the Big Top - which is a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - trying to decide if I want to go down my usual route of a horror circus with the Circus Rot clown twins, or head to somewhere sparkly for a carnival style celebration...

Potty Break for the Balloon Puppies

The circus has rolled into town once again and now that the tent has been set up, the animals have been safely stowed into their outdoor homes and the backstage area with the costumes and lights have been prepared for when the show begins... 
Rudh had just one more task to do before she can get ready for the show... Rudh has to take the doggies out for a little potty break... 

Since the circus is a magical place, you might have realised that Rudh's pets are more than a little magical... These Balloon Dogs - from Boutique #187 - were made by a clown one day and somehow they came to life. So now before the circus starts, they need to be taken for walkies so they can drop a few balloons... 
There's only one problem, just before the walkies were needed... Rudh got herself dressed in costume. Trying hard not to step in the balloons, in her amazing performance shoes - the TakenByTheSky from 1313 Mockingbird Lane, available until the end of today at Inithium - suddenly deciding that she needed to pee, she slipped from the panties of her costume and hid in the long grass, not realising that one of the creepy clowns was perving from behind a trailer! Naughty little clown!!

Snaps to Start

The weekend is a good time to wake up slowly, drink a few cups of coffee and then perhaps spend a good few hours taking some pretty pictures and wasting a day lol... That's definitely my Sunday routine but this weekend I want a day of nothing-much-ness and I plan to do that by spending my time with my SL camera. 
Give me five minutes in my gorgeous little office to make sure my camera is all set up and ready to rock and roll... 

I love this new pose from Come Soon by the way. It's called My Lens and it's available now at The Chapter Four until August 31st. As per usual, the Come Soon Poses come with a full scene or the pose on it's own, and as nice as the scene is I had to use this particular pose in my office! It was too much of a temptation to resist. I spend time here working on blogging stuff, working on Gator stuff, and in fact working on anything that I have to work on too LOL... It's my quiet place to get things done in. I'm not gonna list all of my little knick-knacks but if you want to know something in particular please do ask me... I have been good and listed all the big furniture pieces though... 
This is the most relaxed outfit I will be wearing today too I'm sure, have a lot of crazy photo ideas that need to be put into place and none of them require me to look comfortable...Guess I should enjoy the comfortable but adorable Frayed Denim Shorts from Mon Cheri, the overly huge sweater from WONDERLOST and the super cute Celie Sneakers from FLG while I can hehe... 
Fact you know what, before I do anymore I'm going to jump in the shower LOL... Let Rudh enjoy her comfort for just a little bit longer huh?!

Make-Up and Hairstyling for a Princess

I'm still playing dress-up, though this time it might be less easy to see that hehe... This time I am thinking more of a princess than anything evil, but I am a princess that likes to take her time to get ready for her day's adventures. As in RL, this morning I can take my time waking up, drink some coffee at a leisurely pace and get myself all dolled up... 
I found a very pretty dress and although it wasn't my usual taste in things, I simply couldn't resist - hence why today I am a pretty princess hehe... It's also given me the chance to show you one of my favourite bits of my bedroom... 

The area in question is actually my vanity station, my make-up magic bench as I call the one I have in RL - not that I ever tend to wear a lot of make up in RL, I'm a bit too forgetful! Yet this vanity table is actually something that HellBone found for me and that I love. It's a HIDEKI Directors Chair, that has 4 different poses within and that I have thrown tons of adorable Make-Up themed products all over including brushes, creams, and lip balms... There are a few things for styling my many wigs, bright colours for my nails and even a friend to practice the look on - thank you BOOGERS hehe... 
Everything I need to transform myself into whatever it is that I want to be today... 
Right now I need pretty, I need sparkles, I need PRINCESS... 
The dress and shoes were what brought the look into the forefront of my mind, as it's not a pretty look I'd normally go for... I found the dress at the latest round of The Chapter Four from GizzA. It's called the Ribboned Ruffle Dress and it comes in a range of colours, normally I'd have gone for something dark but this smoky colour was just too gorgeous to pass up, and when I spotted the blue ribbon - that comes in the HUD provided - I had to wear these amazing ChicChica Princess shoes with it! It was a match made in Princess Heaven hehe... 
LOL my look of the day is Princess... If only I could get myself into a Disney Princess Happy mood feeling then I'd be great!

Making Cakes with Candy Leftovers

Something a little out of the ordinary from me to follow up a post about being trouble LOL... This is trouble but of a different kind I suppose... In RL if I walked past a kitchen that smelt like fresh baked cakes I know I would instantly gain 5lbs in weight - and that is without even seeing a cake - hence TROUBLE! 
This post also gave me a little trouble in set-up as I have never been very good at sharing furniture in photography... Oh well, here goes nothing I suppose!
I decided to make a little cake, to use up some of the chocolate candy that I had... We had no Trick-or-Treaters this year, and so to stop myself stuffing candy bars into my mouth at an unusually fast rate I decided to make them into a cake!! Least stuffing that into my mouth could be a little more ladylike?!

I don't have a kitchen in SL... I know some people like to go for realism when putting their home together, but I cannot stand having anything that makes me think of household chores LOL - there are way too many of those in RL as it is LOL - so I rigged up a cooking area with this awesome table from HIDEKI, it's a desk but meh it did the job, and then even put a shelf up to hold on to a few things. Being totally honest, the shelf was an item that I was sent to blog from Lost Junction, and when I received it I was a bit dazed and confused as to what was I going to do with it, hence making cakes hehe... 
The shelf is not the only Lost Junction item though, if you see the black bowls and the crazy collection of spoons that look like they come straight from Nightmare Before Christmas, then you should know that these are part of the Witchin' Kitchen from Lost Junction too... 
The rest of the décor that I chose to make the table look pretty is stuff that has been released from various Gacha events, but that I have picked up later on - and at bargain basement prices sometimes - from the Yardsales... I LOVE yardsales, I am pretty much addicted!! Everything is listed in the list below so check out things if you want them there, just make sure those cheeky lil Hammies keep their hands off my epic cake while you do please!!!
