One last one to show a nod in the direction of someone who hurt me and mine recently... Santa she threw the first stone, and I may have gotten caught ready to throw one, but as soon as his back is turned, this stone filled snow ball will be hurled at someone's face, without the warning of "think fast!" I'm lined up and ready... I'm already on the naughty list lol, what have I got to lose...
So standing at the grotto, for a mugshot was not really on my to-do list, especially this close to Christmas when I'm trying so hard to make it over to the nice list, but sometimes people give you a damn good reason... They know who I'm talking about, they are the target for my next stone filled snowball LOL... Not mentioning names, that would get me into even more trouble with Santa!!
Though all of this picture came about because {NANTRA} made this awesome gacha collection filled with Christmas Criminals Poses... You can get into trouble for all kinds of things this year... Spiking the milk for Santa, Carolling off key, and even Being a Ho Ho Ho - luckily I wasn't caught for that one LOL... Yet sometimes a girl can't help but throw snowballs full of stones!! To the background I added some of these amazing looking natural style trees. They are Yule Trees from Candle & Cauldron. These trees come in a few different colours, but each are decorated with ribbons, crystals and fruits and I LOVE the fact that they feel so natural... Much more of a traditional Christmas tree rather than the overly tinsel stuffed kind.
Now just to wait till Santa's back is turned?!

Yesterday I had some bad news in my RL, and consequently spent my time curled up in a ball in RL, crying and unable to function for anything much else. This morning after a night's sleep I feel more responsive but the tears are still coming, so I need to take a few minutes to just breathe and take a time out... Pouring my heart out here in my Pseudo-Journal.
I found out yesterday that someone I grew up with was tragically killed when he was out surfing off the coast of the UK on Sunday. I know I didn't need to share details but it's better to let it out than hold it in, and I hope you can forgive me for that. He was a strong swimmer, and grew up on the sea with a fisherman for a father and a crazy obsession with surfing, but it goes to show just how dangerous mother nature can be, even when you're so far away from her most destructive forces - my heart goes out to those affected by all of the recent torments of mother nature even more at this time.
Yet at my favourite time of year when the part of the world I live in is slowing down and settling into a Winter slumber, I still find myself marvelling at the beauty of it all...
Taking some time out of RL and the sadness that it's brought me, my family and more importantly the family of my friend, I decided to enjoy some of the lush Autumnal Landscapes that are springing up all over the place at the moment... I cannot get enough of the Autumn - or Fall as some might say - I just love everything about it... The colours, the crisp feeling in the air and even the rain!!
NonStop is one of those locations that is perfectly Autumn and perfect for a pensive walk with my new buddy, a 'dorable Dane from Jian. After today, he's got a name, he'll be known as Bruce from now on, named for my friend!
I picked up my new friend Bruce at the current round of the Arcade, and while I was there spotted these AMAZING jeans from DAMI - thank you to my dear sweet puppy Kal for being able to win them for me, you have the magic touch it seems - which I wore with my new favourite sweater from Paperdoll's. The Pellucid Sweaters are available now at Suicide Dollz, but I warn you even though you can see a little hint of nipple, it's actually a little more obvious than I realised hehe... Perfect for a naughty girl in Winter!
After getting dressed and finding this awesome location to wander through, I needed the perfect pose. I guess today I should be saying, Happy Valentines Day... I'm not really feeling it though, so I guess I'll go with BAH HUMBUG! Today,. I'm anti-Valentine... A Dead Dolly with a purpose, to spend most of the day saying BAH HUMBUG! If someone see's that little flying monster, SHOOT HIM!
He already tried to get me this morning but hey what can I say, it was easy to resit the flying baby...
I tried wearing a disguise so he'd think I'd already been shot! The Lovestruck Headband is a past group gift - but one that's still available I should add - from Remarkable Oblivion! To be a little cheekier, as a better disguise, I got a girlfriend of mine to leave lipstick marks on my cheek... But it was to no avail!
I'd had a new tattoo done on my chest - ignore the tattoos on my arms if you want to, those are older but the Identity Sleeve Tattoos really do go well with my new Chest Piece! The Cupidity Tattoo - by Paperdoll's at BodyFy - seemed much more like a target for Cupid than a deterrent, so I will definitely be talking to my tattoo artist!
I will say though that Cupid's Arrow had a rather weird affect on little Dead Doll Me... I felt an itchy sensation on my face, and had to check in the mirror but it seems like the scarring on my face was taking a romantic turn, not to mention the change to my eyes... Little Mofo was using my face as a Nightmare "Be Mine" advertising board!!! Dammit!

Time for something a little prettier today... I've been in the dark for too long now, and although I love being that way I don't want people to start thinking that I'm not a happy bunny - the majority of the time anyway - but never fear the darkness that comes with this time of year will be back very soon...
Autumn is one of my favourite times of the year, not only because of Halloween, but also because of the colours and that sense that soon it will be time to snuggle up and hibernate almost...
Yet I found a dress that made me want to give one last nod towards being out and about exploring in something pretty and not too tightly wrapped hehe...
I guess you could call it my look of the day?!
It's my nod towards the start of the Autumn harvest - though I guess that has been going on for a while now anyway - but so many people were hoping for an Indian Summer here in RL, that now we are hitting freezing temperatures a lot of us are not yet prepared for it. Still least in SL you can still skip around in a summer dress without getting cold right?!
The location I randomly discovered, with a really Autumnal feel - although yes the majority of the trees are still green for now - is the landscape that surrounds Apple Fall. I was there shopping and this amazing field caught my eye, I KNEW it would be a great photo backdrop!
Yet it was the dress that inspired this look more than anything, I fell in love with the dress style when I saw it on Flickr a few weeks ago, and HAD to try it... When I tried it on, it was love and I just had the hard task of choosing the colour... There are 4 different colour combinations of this dress - available from Paperdoll's - and each combination comes in a collection of different combinations - the plain, the checked and the mix'n'match!
I wore it with the adorable Darkness Hat Hair from Magika - the HUD of which will be able to colour the new subscribo group gift by the way - and then kept the rest of my accessories to this simple but very pretty Devil Trap Necklace from [geek.].
So there you have another look of the day, a last grab at that summer feeling and perhaps a nod towards the Autumn days that have yet to come...
