Waking up on the second day of my trip back to visit my parents feels awesome, so I'm still going to remain in this fairytale world feeling for just a little longer. I think today that my mum and I may take a walk to the place that we always think of as a Narnia of sorts... Maybe I will share pictures of that somewhere, but if you know me even a little by now, you will know that I've got a love of all things fairytale - the dark and the light it doesn't really matter - magical tales have always been important to me. When I was a kid I was reading Narnia and Middle Earth Stories, whilst being a little Disney Obsessed... Still any fairytale is a good fairytale in my eyes, even the ones that Rudh makes up for herself...
I've mentioned the location I'm sharing with you before now but I will repeat myself, go and check out Once Upon A Fairytale at Cape Juniper. It's so cute and has plenty of different fairytale lands to explore.
Fairy Rudh has come out to play today - this is the original Rudh that used to walk through the magic of Second Life. Originally her story tells of a Shapeshifting mother that had daughters with differing fathers - one being a dragon prince and the other being a fae... It sounds complicated but trust me it wasn't at the time!
The outfit that inspired this look was actually something that I found at the most recent round of We <3 RP in the Belle Epoque booth. They have created these Fawn Fae outfits which include dresses and wings for a very low price and they really got my Fae genes buzzing.
On that note though, I am excited, I think it's time for a trip to Narnia with my mum... Shame I don't have to climb through a wardrobe to get there.

Yesterday was all about drinking Champagne and being rather under dressed, and I guess today is on a similar theme lol... Not enough clothes to be out in the snow - if this was RL I'd have frost bitten toes - and would you look at that, Gluhwein! Careful Rudh, don't be getting an even worse reputation for yourself LOL...
Luckily SL is a place you can go out in the snow in a miniskirt and still feel warm, because in RL tights - or stockings - would be a necessity! Still at least the Gluhwein will warm me up! Right?!
I went for a walk at WinterFlakes and decided to stop off for something warm, sweet and a little alcoholic at the Gluhwein stall this morning.
I have to admit I wasn't entirely well dressed for snowy weather, but the outfit from Petite Mort was meant to be one that I wore to a party or drinks with the ladies - maybe I'm on my way home doing the walk of shame LOL...

Christmas is coming SO FREAKING FAST, I cannot quite believe how fast the big Holiday is almost upon us. There is so much to do and not a lot of time left to do it in, and it's almost a feeling of if I blink I'm going to miss it right now... Presents need wrapping, Shopping has to be done and OH don't even get me started about decorating. Hell and I don't even have a tree yet!
This weekend however was a time to celebrate with my SL Family. some of my best friends and some lovely music by the singer Greg Kat. It was a formal affair, and so for once in the year I was able to dress in something a little pretty...
My dress is something that I fell in love with and then had Lil help me glam up a little... I couldn't resist this dress. I never get to dress all pretty like this very often, and when I do, I find myself wearing something that is barely there - not that that's different from normal - but I couldn't leave this dress I NEEDED to wear it! It's one from Kaithleen's that was a release for the last round of Enchantment, I've had it stashed away for the formal for that long, but it's now available as a regular release in the mainstore!
I added a little glamour by wrapping myself in this gorgeous furry Twisted Stole from Peqe - which I'd never condone in RL - and wearing a few pearls...
Now the ball is over and I am riding home in a sleigh carriage through the valley of Lost Unicorn... I wonder if I will meet Santa the way the children of Narnia did?

Do you wanna build a Snowman?
Not really actually, I've never really been a fan of snow. I love to watch it fall and if I only have to go outside to play in it then awesome, but it's when you have to deal with snow and RL that I am not so keen. I can guarantee that if ANYONE will fall over, it will be me! It's like it's fated to happen every time!
In SL however, Snow is a little easier to live with LOL... It's warmer for a start, and the only way I will have an accident is if Rudh is posed as such! So I've been exploring, playing around in the snow and actually kinda enjoying it!
There are so many gorgeous locations full of snow... Places like It All Starts With A Smile for instance. Kaelyn Alecto - owner of this gorgeous location and brilliant blogging lady - really looks at her location though the eyes of a photographer, giving everyone somewhere gorgeous to create little art pieces - like I tried to do LOL... Thank you for that Kaelyn!!
Now as you can tell my inner child went to town on my outfit today... YES my stomach is showing but it's SL it's not cold LOL... Although my nose and eyelashes were dusted with snowflakes - a pretty make-up from Izzie's by the way! I'm biting back another song right now, something about Snowflakes staying on noses and eyelashes!
My shawl and the larger snowman that sits on my head are from the Ecclectic Gacha Collection of Lost Junction - found at this month's Arcade - while the smaller snowman is a LODE item... When I asked if people wanted to build a snowman I wasn't actually thinking of it on my head, but hey it does look very classy, just hope it doesn't melt too fast LOL...
