Demonic me seems to be having dominance over all other sides of my darker self at the moment... I'm not complaining but I will say that she's very much suppressing the prettier girlier normal side of my wardrobe quite a lot, so don't expect normal too often for a while longer at least lol... Today the little demon child in me wants to get all excited over an event I participated in last night... You may have heard of Ironwood Hills, well this year they have an interactive hunt taking place and it's FUN!!! There's some great prizes and maybe if you're good I will share some of those with you soon... Still while you're there watch out for the little demonic me that is haunting the carnival!!!

Pandora's Box is soon to close... Today is the last chance to get your hands on all of the awesome goodies before it closes, and Dark Japan has been awesome to us this month. I've learnt so much and have some wonderful goodies from the boxes talented designers but there's just time for one more post and a little lesson about somewhere in Japan that I feel fits the box perfectly... It's a place called Aokigahara Forest at the base of Mount Fuji in Japan. There is a beautiful tribute to this sad place in Second Life that was perfect for allowing a little Pandora's Box monster to be free just a little while...
Known as "the perfect place to die" the Aokigahara Forest in Japan is one of the world's most 'popular' - although the word sounds terrible in this case - places to commit suicide. Legend has it that ancient families would sacrifice members of the family by leaving them to die in the forest, deaths would have been long, horrible and drawn out due to starvation, creating the stories of hauntings amongst the trees. Yet this does not deter those in despair, annually around 70 corpses are found by the volunteers that clear the woods, and records of just how many wander in but never come out are no longer published so that there is no popularisation of the location. There is a lot of information about the "Sea of Trees" available, check the wikipedia link to start with and don't miss out exploring Second Life's interesting tribute to this dark location. I know that yesterday I talked about how simple things in fairy tales seem to be, but sometimes I guess I should admit that before all the happily ever after stuff things must be pretty crap... Not for the heroine, but I mean what must things be like for the bad guys that are left behind. For example, when Cinderella leaves with the Handsome Prince, what becomes of her ugly step sisters!?! I mean Cinders married a Prince, couldn't some kind of revenge be sort?! Branding, or having their eyes removed or something of that nature, which by the way appeals to my living dead dolly side quite a lot!
Yeah, maybe more than a little appealing to my dead doll side!! So much so that the dead doll me, decided to scar herself and act out what may have happened to one of the ugly step sisters... The poor wretch got all pretty for her sisters wedding to the Prince, with a special hair piece - the Antheia Halo Crown from PSYCHO.Byts available at the Coven until February 24th - trying to make an effort after being forgiven by her sister. Little was she to know that someone in the crowd would attack her, branding her as Evil and cutting up her face with a Lovesick scar of little hearts - from SongBird. I LOVE this wound by the way!! The Lovesick Wound is the scarring over my cheeks of little hearts and it's just SO CUTE!! Perfectly fits my love of Macabre and Cute all at the same time, so thank you Nimil LOL!! Though because of this marking, our little anti-heroine thought she'd made a new friend, one of Cinder's friendly doves came to meet her... It didn't last long however, as the dove was a HEXtraordinary bird that was sent to carry out the Princesses Revenge... Fairytales are not only Happy Ever Afters... Sometimes you have days when you feel like you are floating... While your body goes through the motions and tries to carry on as normal, your mind drifts and floats, and it's at times like these when it's very hard to feel a true sense of normality. Today is one of those days for me... I feel like I'm in a dream...
I got a little over the top creative, and I'm not sure how well I did with it or not... My mind went to a place where you're able to glimpse the future... In this case an evil dead dolly, holding what appears to be something powerful, a sceptre or a staff perhaps - in this case a Violetility Void Staff... She has undergone a transformation of sorts, no longer just a living dead doll, now she has added vampire fangs and a wound marking her as truly evil... She'd finally found her calling! I don't honestly know why I am in an evil mood today, I'm very tired yes, but had a very much needed date night to a concert in RL with HellBone, so I should be happy lol... In fact, I think I need to stop talking, maybe I'll take a nap and try to get rid of this sleepy feeling... I'll let you enjoy this pretty dream of mine, and a little of the band I went to see last night as a treat!
