Needling the Dolls

So far I'm on a roll, though I think that tomorrow that's about to change as I won't be able to get a blog post done due to RL working keeping me out late... I'm not going to complain though, I am still going to make sure that every post counts where the monstrous me is concerned... 
Today I went out treasure hunting, I got to go to the local thrift stores in search of treasures, and I LOVED IT... Books, some random decor and even a couple of those weird doll animals - which HellBone makes look dead and then resells online - made it home with us, and it reall got me thinking about all of my old toys. Where are they now? I used to love some of my old dolls, I cannot find my old favourite and I hope that I never threw him away... Losing a doll could be dangerous... 

Certain dolls are fun to play with, certain dolls are dangerous, and I wonder which I like more... I LOVE the idea of a voodoo doll, I'm always a little daunted by them but there are some amazing stories, secrets and magical things to learn about them... Before I get myself to play with one, I plan on reading as many books as I could to learn as much as I can - set in a pose like the Idealist pose set from -Extra- that includes book props - before I even let myself pick up any kind of Spooky Desire Dolls - from KitCat - to attempt anything... Being a doll herself,will it have as much magical success? She's a Patchwork doll herself - thanks to the Sweet Thing Patchwork Set - and she's definitely prepped to be ready for the attempt of testing a doll herself. Primed with the Poppet Pins - from Violetility - and a some needles in her Niddle Collar - a gorgeously spike collar from Chemical Princess - but nothing will happen until she makes the first poke into the dollies chest...

Sweet Summery Sunday Crepes!

It's Sunday and a day of rest. I still have things that need to be done around the house, but I am taking things slow and easy and very restfully. I have a TERRIBLE cold that I am fighting like a crazy person and holding back from murdering my husband for sharing it with me. 
I'm going to be taking it easy when it comes to making food too, pancakes - although I might be calling it Crepes, just so it sounds more interesting... 

I whipped up a batch of pancake mix and made the delicious crepes on the griddle - from Second Spaces. I forgot how much fun it was to make pancakes. 
Then it came to toppings... There are so many different things that you can put on crepes, but today I decided to go with some Sweet Summery Crepes - from Cat-Noodle at Summerfest - with lots and lots of Ice cream - from vespertine - and even more oodles of cherries - from kotte.

Clowning Around!!

The last of a few lovely days off, and tomorrow is going to be another super busy Saturday - and this time I could end up rumbling all over my boss who is being a massive jerkface - but until then I have just a little longer to enjoy the Halloween Spirit... It's official Halloween weekend... 
It's time to let the spookies out and have a little fun, we're going to have to do a little clowning around... 

One of my favourite places to clown around at this time of year has to be Uri Jefferson's FREAKSHOW... I find myself feeling quite comfortbly at home amongst the freaks, and it's one of those places that I LOVE to visit every year...

Cyber Zombie Awakens

 Halloween is getting closer and the monsters of SecondLife are getting ready to come out to party... It's a time of year that I LOVE so much and my creative side cannot get enough of this time of the year... The monsters are coming out of every corner of my mind, dusting off or maybe adding more cobwebs and appearing from the dark... 
I found one of them wandering in the dark toxic fumes of the Parking Garage... 

You can tell this little zombie has spent a lot of time in the garage... She's a little more mechanical and cyber than some of the other monsters in my mind, but she's definitely one of my new favourite friends... From the corroded wires in her hair, to her Hibernation MKII bodysuit - from Normandy at the new round of Necrotize - she's definitely a little bit of a cyborg zombie... A responsible cyborg zombie since she's looking after health by wearing a Pazuzu Respirator - from PSYCHO.Byts also at Necrotize - to stop herself breathing in the smoke...

Medusa's Pet Snakes

On another Dark Adventure today and this time we're going to visit the coast of North Africa, although the story from which our newest friend has been known... She's actually the star of Greek mythology... A maiden of three sisters, ok they are Gorgon sisters and not to be trifled with, but it wasn't always this way... She was a true beauty, who after a romance with a Greek God was transformed into a monster with snakes in her hair.. Yet it was in death that this Medusa was her most powerful... Her eyes, that had been powerful enough to turn people to stone in life, continued in use mounted onto the shield used in war to defeat the enemy...

Medusa isn't available to welcome us into their home today, but another of her Gorgon sisters, another lover of all things snakey is here to show us the temple... 
There are snakes everywhere, and even though she still has normal hair she's wearing a headdress to honour her sister, and a pet snake on her head...

Sleepy, so it's Time for Tea

It's been SUCH a long few days, working my ass off in the cheese store although it's been strangely quiet which can in some cases make it worse as there's too many hours and not very many tasks to do. However, my Cheesy working week is done, and I'm back at home, able to warm myself up with a cup of tea and get myself feeling all snuggly before bed. 

I didn't realise that I looked so tired... I caught sight of myself after I slipped into some cute slouchy clothes - the top being an adorable Fun Crop from one of my new blog sponsors Star Sugar! I love these comfy looking tops, and there are so many cute things coming out from the store I cannot wait to see what I can do with all the pretty things...

Let me drink my Coffee!

For HellBone's Birthday in RL, we got him one of those special coffee makers. The kind that you fill with beans, and it grinds and roasts the beans as it makes your coffee. I've never really been a huge coffee drinker, I'm usually seen nursing a cup of tea! MMMMMMM TEA... But since we've had this machine I'm becoming a bit of a coffee fiend.
Now it's becoming a case of don't talk to me until I've got a fresh coffee, especially in the morning, I'm becoming one of the Monster Coffee drinkers! 

As you can clearly see, I was not in the mood to have someone get in the way of me making coffee this morning... Now I have a very big lump in my kitchen floor... Dammit! 
The little demon in me is awake and drinking her coffee, it's delicious, especially when served in this huge mug. The Mug by the way is a pose prop from Image Essentials for a Nail Showcase - available at Designer Showcase until March 28th.

Prettifying after the ECLIPSE

I did warn you that the Bad Girls club was here to stay for a little while, did I not?!
Today will be no exception to that, so if you're a little shy of a bit of Sex and Violence then you might want to look away now. Not that I have either graphically showing today, but the bad girl in me is trying to be pretty after a dark night of macabre fun... It was the ECLIPSE after all... 

She wasn't so covered in blood when she went in, and she's sure that the Split - by duckie - on her face wasn't there, but she shrugged it off. It's a sign it was a fun party for her at least! She's also pretty sure that most of that isn't her blood, LOL! Hopefully with the application of a little make-up, and her Cracked 1930's Glasses - from [notis] - though again, she's not sure they were cracked when she went in!! 
It just shows the power of the Oroan's Bindings - from CerberusXing - that she chose to wear for the Eclipse this month. 
Though someone may need to stop her from leaving the basement without removing that remaining Ama Nipple Sucker... That might be a bit of a give away for some of the goings on in the Bad Girls Club!

A Place in the Naughty Room!

Santa is coming in just a few days now, and there's a lot of busy goings-on at the North Pole right now... The elves have been trying to get Santa to take some time out to relax a bit before his big day. 
They've sent Santa to the naughty list room... Making sure he checks it twice, while some of the naughty list occupants are set to work entertaining him - this year Rudh is one of them, she's so high up the naughty list she's given a special task to make up for it! Just don't tell Mrs. Clause! 

Santa's naughty room has goodies for all the naughty girls - and boys - out there... Things have moved on since his coal days. 
This room was actually a room that I created for the Gators MC Christmas Build off Contest, but I loved the naughtiness of it so much that it had to become a background for a post too... It helped that I'd been lucky enough to win the miss.chelsea Joli Light Harness - which is available until today at The Epiphany! 
Have to work now to get Santa to maybe take me off the naughty list, or he might want to keep me on it, if I work it really well... Depends which list has the best benefits!

Comets are a little like Crystals

Are you ready for it?? The first picture ever taken on my brand new, shiny monster of a PC... I wanted to keep it simple, test how the lighting worked and how the higher and ultra settings affected my photography. I nearly fainted when I easily took a picture on ULTRA settings, but OH MY GOD I'm happier than a pig in the mud right now!!! 
NOW onto the real post! We all know that Santa is pulled in a sleigh by 9 Reindeer - if Rudolph is counted - but I heard recently that all of these deer as "supposedly" female since there is something about them losing their antlers later than male deer?! So I was playing with the idea of Rudhifying one of them... 

Comet was the one that came to mind when I had finished putting this post together, since these amazing crystals remind me of celestial comets!! For anyone interested, these amazing "Crystal Desire" decor items are from lunacy at the amazing Winter's Hollow. Winter's Hollow is open until December 31st with some amazing designers having released lots of lovely seasonal items for your shopping happiness!! This Reindeer, based on the stars, she's decorated her antlers in some festive colours and added crystals to them - in the Crystal Horns from Neverwish. The colours of her antlers perfectly matching the ribbon colour chosen by Santa for his Santa Baby ribbon uniforms - made by 1313 MockingBird Lane. 
In other event news, the new round of Eclipse is open too... I have some awesome stuff coming to show from that. First off I want to share these amazing eyes from Conviction, now I know that they aren't too clear in the picture so I will add a picture them at the bottom of the post - as I've been known to do sometimes. There's one more thing... Poor little Comet, lost an arm... The elves were able to help her with one of the Broken Doll Arms - from Cubic Cherry - as a replacement...

Time to go away for a while...

I am SO tired, SO very tired... I think I'm about to hit rock bottom if I don't get some chance to sleep - I think a week should be enough time lol - HellBone and I are really needing time to stop with RL and do something totally different, we've been working too hard for too long!  Both of us on 50 hour weeks... It's draining! It's making us crazy... 

It's not very often I get HellBone to sit still for long, but when I told him he'd get a nice cosy straight jacket, he was more than willing! It was the perfect opportunity for us to let you know that we're going away for a week... Running to hide in RL at a place called "Mummy and Daddy's House"- I'm going to see my family in the UK and I cannot be more excited! Although I couldn't leave without sending one last picture into the world!! It had to be this one!! 
I wont be having anymore time to share more of the AMAZING stuff from the Eclipse Event, but's true, it's allowed me to enjoy the fact that "October Never Dies!" this month. There is a lot more that I haven't been able to share like the DRD Swamp House or the CerberusXing Flesh Outfit, but this last picture really showcases just how Hell and I are feeling!!! 
We took our crazed photo at the Ex Machina "Welcome Home Asylum" Photo Scene... This place is great there's the room you see here, a padded cell and the dark creepy corridor that connects the two!! I was in love when I saw the possibilities! 
While we were setting up, preparing to be locked away, we were joined by some cute - or not so cute - furry friends... I wondered is Hell could see them, these Skull Head Foxes - by Maru Kado - but if he did, he didn't say anything, and they seemed harmless in a devious way... So I let them stay!
I'll be gone a week... Don't miss me too much! You may still see me liking things on Flickr and chatting on Facebook, I snuck a cellphone into the cell, but otherwise, it's time to get some much needed rest!!!
