The Perfect Place for a Rope Bunny

I often feel like I'm tied up at work, unable to do anything that's not totally chaotic since I work with people and I'm held in a rope bind that I cannot get out of... Today was a prime example of that, we try to help our customers but sometimes the customer is most definitely not always right... 
ANYWAY, on the subject of being tied up, I am not really a shibari kinda girl, but the books I have been reading ately MAY be changing my mind on that... If you haven't read any of the Salacious Players Club novels by Sara Cate and you like the SMUT genre then my god you need to, and if you have read them you know the one I mean when I'm talking about Shibari... ANYWAY, I've decided to let myself get tied in knots, maybe it will release a little of the tension in me...

No Rest for the Wicked

It may be the start of another week but today is Cyber Monday... I'm not in a shopping kinda mood, I've been far too busy and it seems like rest is alluding me, but as they always say, there is NO REST for the wicked... I feel like I'm fighting an uphill battle and the apocalypse is nigh... I'm going to have to get myself prepared for a battle... 

I'm currently hiding in a bunker deep underground, and I've barricaded the door although I'm not sure if it's going to be to keep the others out or to just lock myself away... As in the movies, the diva in charge seems to be dressed in something sexy and I guess that I decided to dress an outfit fit for a Diva... Glitches in the Light

I had a long hard day at the academy they send us to for assistant manager training today and there is so much information buzzing around in my head that I am having trouble focusing... It's like my brain keeps glitching right now, though that could have a few alternative reasons as to why... 
The glitching idea though has definitely been a factor when it came to planning a photo for today's blogging session... My mind kept glitching, and I ended up becoming the cutest of glitching cyborgs... 

I'd had the weirdest dream last night which I guess played a part in both my brain glitches and the reason that I'm in a room urrounded by monsters in cryogen tubes that we're working to extract the DNA from... The chamber, and the pods - both of which are Celeste creations - are kept dark and calm so as not to rouse the sleeping monsters, but I have to be careful, my glitches could mess everything up...

Welcome to my Garden of Shadows

What would costumes at Halloween season be like if I didn't throw in a nod to the eight legged beasties that seem to be a cause of many people's nightmares. I'll admit that I don't find them terrifying but at the same time I'd rather not have the big fluffy ones in the house. My dog just watches them, my cat tries to play with them, but even my hubby has been known to get a little squeamish when there are big ones around, and the vaccuum has had to be the hero of the hour more than once... 
I will also admit though, that there is something about the arachnid chic which I find very difficult to bypass when creating costumes at this time of year... Spiderlady time... 

This year, the Spider Lady is the one holding the key to the Garden of Shadows... She sings that most haunting of melodies "Come Little Children" to welcome passers by into her garden, and once there they will never get out again... The garden is the doorway to the Spinner's Crypt - a backdrop from FOXCITY - and the perfect place for the arachnids to dance in the moonlight, weave their silken art and indulge in the delicacies of people that wander in... 
She's decorated, and never lonely, because of the visits from all her little spidey friends. They creep over her skin, escaping from within her... Through holes in her skin - a Virus spread by A.D.D Andel - decorating her body in an outfit of webs...

Needling the Dolls

So far I'm on a roll, though I think that tomorrow that's about to change as I won't be able to get a blog post done due to RL working keeping me out late... I'm not going to complain though, I am still going to make sure that every post counts where the monstrous me is concerned... 
Today I went out treasure hunting, I got to go to the local thrift stores in search of treasures, and I LOVED IT... Books, some random decor and even a couple of those weird doll animals - which HellBone makes look dead and then resells online - made it home with us, and it reall got me thinking about all of my old toys. Where are they now? I used to love some of my old dolls, I cannot find my old favourite and I hope that I never threw him away... Losing a doll could be dangerous... 

Certain dolls are fun to play with, certain dolls are dangerous, and I wonder which I like more... I LOVE the idea of a voodoo doll, I'm always a little daunted by them but there are some amazing stories, secrets and magical things to learn about them... Before I get myself to play with one, I plan on reading as many books as I could to learn as much as I can - set in a pose like the Idealist pose set from -Extra- that includes book props - before I even let myself pick up any kind of Spooky Desire Dolls - from KitCat - to attempt anything... Being a doll herself,will it have as much magical success? She's a Patchwork doll herself - thanks to the Sweet Thing Patchwork Set - and she's definitely prepped to be ready for the attempt of testing a doll herself. Random Friends

Randomness can be fun sometimes, and I really feel that random is definitely something that fits with me and my blogging style. I love being dark and grungy, I love being pretty and fairytalish, but I think what ties it all together and something that makes me most happy is when things are totally random... 
Random, colourful, sparkly and cute, all things that put a smile on my face, especially when making some new friends along the way... 

I've been feeling a little dozey all day. It's still hot here, but cooling off and thank goodness for that... I AM SO HAPPY about it... Torturing the Angels

It's funny, sometimes something can either bring out your good or bad sides... Today I'm actually using a backdrop for something that I already allowed my dark side to lovingly play with, now the somewhat angelic side of me is getting a turn too... I say somewhat because well it's ME, it's never gonna be totally angelic, and well from the looks of it, Angel Rudh has been a bad little Angel!

This little Angel is obviously in trouble for something, she's been forced into a submissive pose - thanks to one of a series of poses released by Zombie Suicide - she's also been roped and bitten if her bruises are anything to go by?! 
I will say I love that her halo still shines - thanks to this awesome hair and accessory from Doe - and her outfit is angelic white, yet that Nephthys Top - from MuggleBorn - has been wrenched open and she's been tortured with Needles through her nipples - thanks to Ama's Needled Piercings - channelling her inner grace to get through the pain...

Working through my Sins, and getting to play today with my favouritest of them all... Today I'm using the Image Essentials pose to play at being demonic Lust...

Whore Couture Girl Time

It's been a long time since I did something a little risqué and I feel that a little naughty is probably a good idea right about now... Something that will make me smile at least, and the picture that I'm about share with you definitely caused that!! What should have been a rather sexy photo-shoot, caused a massive fit of the giggles between myself and my good friend Lilian, and although for us the naughty effect wasn't so much naughty but silly, we definitely got the good feeling that we needed out of it!
It all started with a little event called Whore Couture, an event specifically designed to bring out the bad girl in us ladies, and at the same time get all the bad boys drooling... 

It ended up in a picture that may or may not have been staged! I'll leave that to your dirty little imaginations! 
The pose used is one from Come Soon called Cigar - which is available at the Whore Couture Fair and includes the pose and setting - but I have to admit that I added a few extra little details for a little more "spice". Bound for Fun!

Today is going to be a day of total opposites emotionally I feel... I am still at home in the UK with my family, and tonight I am going to the concert of one of my absolute favourite bands - the cello playing Vikings that are Apocalyptica - yet there may also be some pretty horrible news coming my way too. Apparently sometime today I will be getting an email to let me know that I have either lost or kept my RL job. I hate waiting, and I hate the thought that it's going to be in the back of my mind no matter what fun stuff is going on, so it's a day of being on tender-hooks... I just wish they would hurry up and tell me already. 
I'm tied, bound, controlled, and sometimes that can be a good thing but right now I'd rather be doing anything else!

A good thing that matches the feeling of the roping, tied feeling, is more along the lines of how Rudh is enjoying herself. She's taking a little look around the very pretty, but somewhat dark BDSM location that is Angel of Pain's BDSM Island, and her outfit definitely is a look that works in this kinky place.
Her dress is one that I had to have as soon as I saw it at Collabor88, from the store [Haste]. These Covert Dresses come in a variety of colours, each with a patterened and plain version, and they covertly conceal - although maybe not so well as they could - a set of shibari ropes underneath.
It looks like Rudh has had a little bit of fun though, maybe that's why she looks so happy, but the bruises on her arms and legs - thanks to Chemical Princess at BodyFy - and her extra rope braided hair, definitely seem to suggest that was the case. 
I just hope that the RL me can have as much fun in RL today.

Someone take my Brain

Pft what a weekend that was, you know I'm actually glad today is Monday and I am back to work - not that I am happy about being in the office - it brings normality and that right now is MUCH needed! The weekend has been a crazy whirlwind of conversations that have taken me on a bit of a rollercoaster ride, and I just really hope that things will smooth themselves out soon...
If that doesn't work then perhaps I will have a lobotomy... Ya know, get my brain removed so I don't need to think anymore?! I could have it put in formaldehyde and preserved until the stress and tension was over?! In fact it might be the best use of my brain right now, I'm not sure I really want it anymore now I learnt a few things that bug me...

I've always been an over thinker... It's one of my worst traits, but not only do I over think I over think, I tend to think of the worst possible outcome and dwell on it... It's not something I'm proud of and it's something that I let myself get hurt by time and time again but it's hard to train the brain to think otherwise.
So on the whole theme of a lobotomy - which is sounding better by the second - I HAD just been to the BodyFy Event and picked up these awesome new "Killer Injury" Face Wounds from PaperDolls, one of which just happens to be a Lobotomy Wound.
The perfect location - or should that be destination for a lobotomy of this kind - is the Ironwood Hills Asylum... It caters for all kinds of people and has plenty of soft warm rooms to make rehabilition an easy task - if you don't mind the screams of other patients of course!
