Not the Robo Woofers

My last few pictures have been full of sunshine and prettiness, but today I'm going to have a change of tact, I'm going to do something a little darker, a little more sci-fi and a little more kick ass... I feel feisty, I NEED to do something a little more dangerous looking... I cannot wait to relax this weekend, and a chance to celebrate something special this weekend... First and foremost though I have to kick ass and clean house...

Escaping through the ship into a Cyber tunnel - a backdrop from Paparazzi for those who are interested - Rudh was on the run. Dodging into the darker places to avoid the scanning robotic eyes of the Robo Woofer - an older but still awesome release from Hilted - guard dogs that were hot on her trail. That was the problem with these kind of missions, the ones that had robotic guards always seemed to be a little trickier... 
She'd thought that this time she'd disguised herself pretty well, matching the neon cyber markings of the people that inhabited this little corner of the future, but the glow was spreading to her Imp Parts - a collection from STOIC - making them stand out way more than she'd hoped! Even her outfit was meant to help her blend in - a cute Sytau set from Normandy that is currently available at Whore Couture until March 31st, worn with the cutest of Normandy Naxell Bras (which does actually come with panties that I've not worn here) just to hide those cute little nip-nips - and ALL she really had to do was get in, get the secret codes and get the heck out. How was she to know that her tail would flick and trigger the alarm to sound?! Time to grab for her guns and make for the closest NF111 bike she could find - which just happens to be a pose and prop set from Fashiowl at Cyber Fair until march 23rd!

New Ways to make Easter Eggs

Easter is one of those very weird holidays, it seems to change every year and can be as early as the end of March or aslate as the end of April, but this year it falls on the second weekend in April. This means that as of yesterday there is exactly a month till it's chocolate egg day, one of the most confusing holidays that sees us getting chocolate eggs from a rabbit?! 
Since we're now on the month long run up to his busiest day of the year, as Santa spends time getting ready for Christmas, the Easter Bunny spends a month getting ready and preparing the chococlate eggs. There's always been rumours as to how the eggs are made, I'm about to reveal his secrets, but I'll warn you it's not exactly PG... 

Although, this is a fairly modern technique, the Easter Bunny has gotten bored of the conventional methods and is testing new things. This year he's gone for the kinky method as a trial run, he's trying to get the girls to make the eggs for him... For it to work successfully, he just needs to get the test subject excited enough. Its just needs a little Tough Love, and a few ropes tied in the right way...

Demonic Robotic

I don't know what it is but sometimes I just get the urge to take pictures that can be somewhat naughty... I love that little tease, the little hint, the little seduction that can come from a risque little outfit and a naughty little demon that sits on my shoulder and tells me to let my inner demon out to play... The demon in me is always a little naughty! 

Today my dark little demon seems to have moved from her regular home in the dark caves of Hell, and found her way over to the cyborg Hell and decided to join in with the racuous fun times of the cyborgdemons... 
Their style is not so different to the regular demon style, with the exception of the wires and cybernectic parts that are attached all over her body - thank to some amazing cyber parts like the Inti Veins, the EXO lingerie that she wore with her Statis Corset and Panties, all of which are available from Normandy.

Dark but Sparkling

I think I've been a little lost when it comes to dealing with blogging lately... I find myself in the midst of a bloggers block, I don't know how to do anything and I don't think that I'm doing very well with the blog posts that I have been doing. It's a problem that many of us have faced throughout time but right now I'm stuck... I need a boost, I need someone to help, someone please tell me what I need to do... 

Dark in the Gloomy Ruins - a backdrop from The Bearded Guy - I sat and played with my clothes, digging through the hoard that is my wardrobe looking for some inspiration when my eyes fell on the new-ish dress from 1313 Mockingbird Lane called "Julia". Then I just started to play with accessories and after finding the AsteroidBox Metal Jaw in my hoard, I added some pretty jewellery from Six Feet Under, so the look was complete!
I LOVE the Laveau Bindi, from Six Feet Under and perfectly matches the Phase Septum... They are a little difficult to see in the main photo, so I have added a close up and the ads to show them off perfectly... They make such a great couple!

A Necrotic Horror Show is on it's way...

Two things that I LOVE very much are coming, they are getting closer and closer, and although the thought of things coming is giving me MASSIVE amounts of anxiety right now - as we still have MASSES of stuff to do for the Gators MC Maze - but aside from that Halloween is on it's way, AND, NECROSIS IS COMING!!! 
So I decided to get a jump on it and share one or two little things as a teaser... Get you excited by the Necrosis and it's Necrotic Horror Show... 

So while I'm setting up something a little Halloween feeling on my home space, to give myself a little bit of Halloween that I can hide in away from the craziness of the Gator Maze, I discovered that Infernal Alchemy have made some amazing goodies for the upcoming round of Necrosis such as the Antoinette's Demise Boudoir Set featuring this AMAZING Guillotine Lounger! It's the perfect bed for a little monster like me! It went so well with some of my older - but favourite - Halloween Decor from FAPPLE!
While on the subject of Necrosis though, LOOK AT THIS AMAZING TATTOO from GERMINAL that's also coming soon to the Necrosis event... It's the Highgate Tattoo and I LOVE the details of each part... The tops of the legs have the cemetery and the neck looks like the roots of a tree, and there is BATS all over hehe... It's a gorgeous tattoo!!

Teacher's Pet

Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen, this is an announcement for students of the School of Hard Knocks... Would the "proud" parents of Rudhmellowen Laguna, please come for a meeting at the school principles office? There are one or two issues that need to be discussed urgently!

It's back to school season, and I'm a little late going back to school since I was stuck in the hospital last week, but now I'm back and able to go to school... Of course I'm going the Whore Couture way... Never a good girl now that I'm able to go back and live my school days as Rudh!

Dirty Money, Filthy Rich!

PAY DAY!!! It's my favourite time of the month, at least for the few moments when it feels like you're super rich until your bills are automatically deducted from your bank account. Until that time happens, you can feel like king of the world, able to buy lots of pretty things - although resisting is a key factor because well, you know that money will disappear and then if you don't have it, you're screwed!!! 
For now though, I want to enjoy that feeling, the day after pay day... Like it's Dirty Money and I'm Filthy Rich! 

I feel a little bit like a gangster moll in this picture... A doll of a mafia boss in some dark mafia run club where both the money and champagne flow!
Part of the reason that I get this feeling though may be due to the choice of dress I'm wearing. It's a little like a mullet, business in the front, party in the back and I will leave it up to you to try the dress just to see how short it is. I'm OK with it being this short but it might make others blush!!! It's a dress from 1313 Mockingbird Lane called Annabelle, which will still be available at Whore Couture until the end of the month. 
I guess another reason for the mafia feeling has to be the money bags style pose I chose, it's a gift available from Reve Obscura called "One Moment"... Makes me feel all show offish and a little bit arrogant, and I guess that was what this post needed. Sometimes it's fun to play that kind of character, I wish I could channel more of that into my everyday life!

Let me drink my Coffee!

For HellBone's Birthday in RL, we got him one of those special coffee makers. The kind that you fill with beans, and it grinds and roasts the beans as it makes your coffee. I've never really been a huge coffee drinker, I'm usually seen nursing a cup of tea! MMMMMMM TEA... But since we've had this machine I'm becoming a bit of a coffee fiend.
Now it's becoming a case of don't talk to me until I've got a fresh coffee, especially in the morning, I'm becoming one of the Monster Coffee drinkers! 

As you can clearly see, I was not in the mood to have someone get in the way of me making coffee this morning... Now I have a very big lump in my kitchen floor... Dammit! 
The little demon in me is awake and drinking her coffee, it's delicious, especially when served in this huge mug. The Mug by the way is a pose prop from Image Essentials for a Nail Showcase - available at Designer Showcase until March 28th.

Where Do Easter Eggs Come From?

Now that my birthday has passed, and I want to send a HUGE thank you to everyone for yesterday by the way, I am going to start talking a little about Easter... Not a lot, it's one of those holidays that I'm not really interested in, with the exception of little chocolate eggs anyway, yet I've always wondered where the Easter BUNNY gets eggs from... 
Rabbits don't lay Eggs... Chickens lay Eggs, yet the holiday is all about the bunnies... I know there is a religious context there too but a lot of people forget that anyway, and really what do chocolate eggs have to do with ANY religious tradition, unless there is a church of Chocoholism... 
BUT if Chocolate Eggs, come from Easter Bunnies, how are they made... I FOUND proof of how they are made... 

Easter Eggs come from Bondage sessions between Chickens and Bunnies... Though OK I'm going to be admit that I'm with a cock in bondage... He's really enjoying making Easter eggs... 
The Bunny outfit is actually something that comes from 1313 MockingBird Lane at the new event Red Light District. This is an even that is already open and running until April 8th. It's a VERY barely there harness, mask and warmers are available individually but they are all colour co-ordinated and such a fun set.

Whore Couture Girl Time

It's been a long time since I did something a little risqué and I feel that a little naughty is probably a good idea right about now... Something that will make me smile at least, and the picture that I'm about share with you definitely caused that!! What should have been a rather sexy photo-shoot, caused a massive fit of the giggles between myself and my good friend Lilian, and although for us the naughty effect wasn't so much naughty but silly, we definitely got the good feeling that we needed out of it!
It all started with a little event called Whore Couture, an event specifically designed to bring out the bad girl in us ladies, and at the same time get all the bad boys drooling... 

It ended up in a picture that may or may not have been staged! I'll leave that to your dirty little imaginations! 
The pose used is one from Come Soon called Cigar - which is available at the Whore Couture Fair and includes the pose and setting - but I have to admit that I added a few extra little details for a little more "spice". All of the toys and some of the props on the table have been added as that little extra so if you want that spice make sure you take a look to see what I've included! 
Covered in bite marks, hickies and lipstick, you will see that we had a little fun, now Lil needs a breather and a bit of a smoke, and who knows maybe we will play again, maybe next time if you're very good we may let you join in hehe!!!

School for Blogging?!

School is in session and instead of being one of the bad kids that sits in the back of the class I want to learn a few things...
I'm going to put out a call to the SL Blogger community as I'm both curious to learn more and also kinda intrigued about the way in which other bloggers are doing things. I love what I do, I love the pictures that I am taking and I love being creative in the way that I am, but I'm starting to feel like I haven't and don't do enough... Normally I prefer to blog what I love, but any time I've applied to blog for things I get no response, and therefore I am left wondering what if am doing something wrong?!
So I have questions, maybe if you have insights into things you'd be willing to share...
I dressed for School, I'm in a classroom, I'm willing to learn... Teach me!

Regularly reading the useful articles that are posted on the SL Bloggers Support website, and listening to the conversations that go on within the group really does help, but there are still questions that stick in my mind, and the best place for me to get my words straight and into some kind of sense is here... Please feel free to comment and leave me answers!?!
I've been blogging for over 5 years now and compared to some I still get fairly low statistics when it comes to page views and Flickr likes - the two main things that seem to be a necessity to creators and event planners seeking bloggers - and I cannot work out why. I LOVE the pictures that I take, but am I doing something wrong? If I want to get work as a blogger for events or stores should I be focusing more on the fashion, do artsy photos work less effectively for promotion, or am I way off the mark?
I feel like my photography style has come a long way in the last few months, although part of me is more than a little narked off with my PC because I cannot seem to get shadows working - which drives me bonkers - I would love a super computer if anyone has one going spare LOL...
Then there is the subject of Social Media... I know that a lot of people say posting on various media sites is a good idea, but as a bit of a noob I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO!?! I use Flickr - that's an addiction - but I just deleted my RL Facebook account because I cannot stand Facebook with a passion! I have pinterest, but don't make as much use of it as I should for SL really, and I wouldn't even know where to start when it comes to things like Twitter or - what's that other one that everyone uses - Plurk?! Sticking with Flickr right now though, because that's what I know how to use LOL, I see people post and repost their pictures to get more air-time near the top of people's lists... Is that something that I should be doing? Is it common practice? That seems a little bit sneaky to me, it's just a way to get more likes from the same people that have already given you a star isn't it?!
Please don't get me wrong in all of this, I LOVE what I do and love the fact that having a blog gives me a chance to be creative and express myself in ways that I simply could not do in RL, yet sometimes I see others and think what am I doing wrong?! I KNOW that comparing myself to others is silly, and yes I do it far more than I should, but at the end of the day it's human nature, we want to be the best that we can in whatever it is we're doing right? Survival of the fittest, or should that be Promotion of the bestest? I'm not sure.
Regardless of what I learn from asking about all this I will be carrying on, I cannot give up an addiction to blogging that easily, and even if people don't want me on their blogging team maybe that's a good thing as it gives me more freedom?!

Waiting and Watching

The days are getting shorter and the nights are beginning to close in earlier... Autumn is really on it's way... Not that I am complaining, I LOVE Autumn and everything that comes with it... The cooler air, the feeling of a desire to hibernate and not forgetting Halloween of course, but I love the fact that it gets darker earlier...
So now I stand here in the early evening, pensively waiting for my favourite Holiday of the year - Halloween - like a mistress waiting for the arrival of her lover... Excitment hanging in the air like a smog cloud...

The dress used is one from Petite Mort, a Lexi Lace Up Dress in Bone, is available from the Whore Couture Fair until October 1st, and as sexy as it is from the front, the back view is just gorgeous... I love the soft lace look, the laces and that voluptuous curve that it gives a bottom.
Her lover must be one lucky man for a dress like that...
She can be excited about that, and I on the other hand will be more than a little excited about the arrival of Halloween in a month... Expect lots of Blood, Gore and Horror... I cannot wait!!!

As I walked to the bus stop this morning, with a bit of a spring in my step and feeling good as it's finally lightening up when I leave the house for a change, I had every intention of sharing something pretty, spring-like, and cheerful... Yet as the thoughts of being locked in an office all day became more like a reality, and the gloomy feelings began to take hold, I went from cheerful to something a little darker... It makes me smile, but it's still darker than what I initially thought I'd be posting hehe...
A dark and mysterious place, where she stalks through the catacombs, waking in darkness and retiring from the light...

Her walk leads her through the dark and misty catacombs of Transylvania - the home of her kind, those with a thirst for a darker kind of drink...
She is one of the new school of vampire folk, something akin to a mermaid - drawing men to her like a moth to a flame - a siren of the night, one that dresses to draw attention...
Her dress from the Pixicat house of fashion, it screams of Karma - and can be grabbed at this month's round of The Arcade no less - is teamed with some strapped Azalea EMPIRE heels, perfect Whore Couture wear... What a dangerous combination?!

My favourite SL Flowers...

I LOVE Flowers... LOVE LOVE LOVE them... I admit I'm never going to be the first to wear a dress with flower appliques - though floral print I might do - and you can forget it if you think shoving me a bunch of flat looking flowers will win you any favours, but within the SL world at least there is ONE store whose flowers are always going to be flowers I get excited by.
I LOVE LODE FLOWERS! I am willing to shout it from the rooftops because they are gorgeous and worthy of such praise.

The Matys Flowers - this one being the White Version - are available from LODE at The Chapter Four this month.
The rest of the look was kept simple so that nothing would distract from these gorgeous oversized flowers. Shhhhh I am naked, for everything but accessories, which included the gorgeous Eco Necklace and Lena Ring both from Kibitz as well as the pretty and somewhat understated yumyums circlet for a Queen...
Not that I am trying to play any of the rest of the accessories down, I LOVE them too but should I mention again, did you see these flowers from LODE... I LOVE THEM lol...

The Early Morning Dash...

You know how it is, or at least this is how it is for me anyway, you get up from your nice warm snuggly bed and the first thing that comes to mind is "ARGH GOTTA PEE!!"
I got out of bed this morning and had to run down the stairs - which is pretty perilous in our RL house as Dutch stairs are steep and narrow!! - grabbing at clothing on the way so I could get ready for work without waking his lordship, and for those of you that are interested, made it to the potty on time LOL...
When I sat at my desk at work, wondering which post I wanted to write today, this was the perfect one that sprung to mind... I'd taken a photo of an early morning SL dash to the loo... Weird aren't I? LOL...

This does sum up things pretty well though, I mean Rudh, like me this morning, grabs the first clothes that she can find before her mad dash across the road to the Gators MC out house! Hoping that HellBone hasn't been in there first!
Today the skirt - from Sn@tch - matched the top, but the socks didn't match the outfit OR each other LOL... Whoops!!!
The socks, grabbed from a pile, are mis-matched but it isn't until after the dash that she notices. Her left leg is encased in a Biddy Sock, the pretty little wings decorating the back, while the right leg has a Kitty Paw Sock that were once available from Love Zombie - unfortunately no longer since the store closed!
The photo not only points out her odd socks, but also gives you a perfect look at her leg tattoos that you so often do not see from this angle! The right leg is one that has been shown from the front before - a garter style tattoo called Sex OldWest from PerveTTe, and my left with it's new ink is a Measurement Tattoo from Gang/Cold. I saw this one advertised on the Seraphim coverage of Whore Couture Fair and HAD to get my hands on it. It made me laugh... There is a story, let me share it with you... Sometimes my hubby tends to be a little ignorant of things around him. One day some of our circle of friends were standing around talking and he randomly - on voice - says to me "Babe do you always dress like a Slut?" He was lucky he didn't get a smack, but I laughed and can now say, "You might wanna check the measurement before you call me a Slut" LOL...
