How do Cavemen and Dinosaurs like their Steaks?!

I'm still living in a fantasy world, yesterday I ran away to be with the flamingos and today while making dinner for some reason my mind slipped away to a crazy fantasy once more. I was making some delicious steaks - with pan seered vegetables and garlic potato wedges, and yes it was as delicious as it sounds - that I started somehow thinking of the Flintstones, and then wondering how they'd take their steaks... 

If I was cooking for the cavemen, not necessarily Fred Flintstone or his buddy Barney Rubble - I think I'd need the biggest steaks that I can find. A HUGE Tomahawk Steak - the one from Junk Food at the current round of Anthem - something big and juicy, that's on the bone to make it even juicier! I'll cook the steaks on an open fire in the mouth of a cave, just like the cavemen of the past. 
BUT because it is my fantasy, and I KNOW that they didn't exist together, but the Flintstones get to have a pet dinosaur so do I... I LOVE my pet dinosaurs - from JIAN - definitely one of my favouritest of pets!!

Marked by the Octopus!

 I think I have one more trip into the deepest, darkest depths of the Aenigma to find a place to cool off... You'd think the deeper that it got, the cooler it would be, and I'm really hoping that will be the case... It's cooler in the dark of the depths below! 

This time, the dark held a beauty of epic Mer-Octo proportions. She's a little attached to the Octopus and Jellyfish she keeps as friends, they leave marks all over her skin, and she likes it that way... 

I honestly have been having bloggers block lately, but THIS has to be one of my favouritest pictures that I've created in a long time. I LOVE the colours, the atmosphere, and the general feeling of this outfit. 

I took to the depths in the Lost Unicorn Forest - I always feel myself drawn to this location whenever I'm doing something fairy or mermaidy hehe - and it seemed to be the perfect place in the mermaid caves to bring a little more of the Aenigma event items to life. Her face and skin markings - aren't these GORGEOUS?! - are from LILITHIUM and come in a collection of different colour combinations - she's chowing down on some fishies and only the bones remain - from Salem the "Skelly Fish" - and now that she's had her lunch, she's grabbed a book of "The Little Nightmare" that's filled with stories of The White Crow and the Octopus from the deep.

The Target on the Dart Board

Just one more week to go before the Big Event, and then this time in a week that event will be over! Christmas is coming and there is no stopping it now, this time next week we will all be complaining about having over indulged and will be planning diets for our New Year's Resolutions.
I still have far too much to do, and not enough time to do it in so this week is - as per usual - going to be a bit chaotic I feel. Though I am going to have to be careful, it still hurts putting weight on my foot after my fall and I do not want to damage myself again before Christmas... Feel like I'm waiting for someone to throw swords at me, I'm kind of in anticipation that something else will happen and it's making me nervous!

Rudh unfortunately gets to be the one in the spotlight and create the visuals for the way I feel, and I'm not sure she's too happy about it! You can kinda tell that from the look on her face right now.
The board that she is standing in front of is not actually a throwing knife board, it's actually an item of household decor - if you're house is a castle perhaps?! This is one of the Stabbed Wall Shields from Violetility that you can get your hands on at the current round of We <3 RP - until December 31st.
However in this case I will say that it is her own fault, I mean heck if you want to dress like a "glamorous"  assistant, then someone may want to throw knives at you!

Bandana Day at Hair Fair 2016

This weekend sees the closing of one of Second Life's BIGGEST hair events... Hair Fair 2016 will close it's doors for the year on July 31st with a special last day of shopping... 
The last day of Hair Fair has always been a Bandana Day, in which shopping patrons are asked to throw off their SL wigs and instead wear a Bandana... While you were perusing the latest styles at the Hair Fair, you may have noticed the Bandana Booths. These are filled with a wonderful array of Bandanas in many different styles, colours and accessories, to fulfil anyone's chosen desire. Each of these is available for the low price of 50L, with 100% of the profits being donated straight to the charity - Wigs for Kids. 
I'm going to be wearing my Bandana for the day... So I throw off my own SL wig and ask if you will perhaps do the same... 

The bandana that I chose was one of the creations by LeLutka, who have added a big floppy sun hat to give the bandana just a little bit of vintage glamour... Least that was how it felt when I was fully dress and wearing a super cute outfit that I pulled together. 
To compliment my bandana I chose to wear a a new Lulu Leather Jacket that is available from Addams at the latest round of Uber, with a pair of worn looking Addams jeans and some super cute chocolate coloured Brown Eyed Girl Boots by Entice - available now at Lost & Found. 
It felt like the perfect outfit to go exploring in, maybe it was me channelling my inner Indiana Jones - the look is a bit reminiscent of that or am I wrong? - and I ended up finding a very beautiful and peaceful spot at the Gates of Melancholy to sit and contemplate the craziness that has been life as of late. It was like taking a breather... Something that was very much a necessity... Now I'm raring to go once more... Bring it on world... Bring it on, but only if you're wearing a Bandana!
