A Campfire Dinner

It's been a lovely weekend off for me,my weekend tends to be Sunday and Monday as I work on Saturdays. Gone are the times when Saturday and Sunday were considered a weekend for people. Monday to Friday work weeks still exist, but I haven't had a Saturday Sunday weekend in a long while... 
So while it's been my weekend, I've had a lovely few days to do things I enjoy. I went to second hand stores and found tons of wool for my blankets, and made some delicious food for dinners - as well as treating myself to a cheeky KFC Kip-Salon that is only available for the Summer, I know I'm naughty - but I didn't get what I really wanted... 

Now that the sun is making itself more known than it has so far, and it's officially the start of Summer and therefore BBQ Season... I'm craving BBQ so much because realy there is nothing like chargrilled meat and warm salad lol... 
Though I have been watching videos on Youtube of people cooking things on the grill... There have been people cooking Steaks and Chicken in campfires which seemed to coincide with a delicious set of Campfire meals of the Junk Food variety... Campfire Steak for Hell and Campfire Chicken for me, and perhaps he'd let me have a little taste so long as I'm a good girl that eats my veggies... I'll even serve it up with some fresh Pink Lemonade... 
Now I have to go find a snack LOL...

Make New Friends

It's already nearing the end of November and that means before very long Christmas will start and things will go bonkers... I have so much to do, I want to get myself some new Christmas decorations and may even go out into nature and collect some wild winter foliage for decor... I'll head out into the wild and make a day of it... 

I'd made myself a little camp on the edge of the woods, just over the bridge in the Snowfall Crossing - a backdrop by Synnergy.Tavis - and after spending a few hours collecting foliage to use as decor, I curled up in a pile of blankets on rugs laid in the snow to hide away for a tea break... 
While I was making the tea, I must have passed out a little, when I woke up I had some new friends that had decided my camp looked like a nice warm plae for a nap... Fox Friends came for pets, and Lil Bear Cubs were making themselves at home - both of these sets of animals are from Aardvark, the bears are currently available at TMD and the foxes are at the current round of ACCESS - whilst the cute little bunnies took over my scarf...

How do Cavemen and Dinosaurs like their Steaks?!

I'm still living in a fantasy world, yesterday I ran away to be with the flamingos and today while making dinner for some reason my mind slipped away to a crazy fantasy once more. I was making some delicious steaks - with pan seered vegetables and garlic potato wedges, and yes it was as delicious as it sounds - that I started somehow thinking of the Flintstones, and then wondering how they'd take their steaks... 

If I was cooking for the cavemen, not necessarily Fred Flintstone or his buddy Barney Rubble - I think I'd need the biggest steaks that I can find. A HUGE Tomahawk Steak - the one from Junk Food at the current round of Anthem - something big and juicy, that's on the bone to make it even juicier! I'll cook the steaks on an open fire in the mouth of a cave, just like the cavemen of the past. 
BUT because it is my fantasy, and I KNOW that they didn't exist together, but the Flintstones get to have a pet dinosaur so do I... I LOVE my pet dinosaurs - from JIAN - definitely one of my favouritest of pets!!
