A Necrosis from the Phials of Demons

Shhhh it's here... There is magic in the air, and it's a dark magic... The kind of magic that makes your skin tingle with anticipation... It's a Necrosis, a stage of dying, and it's seeping into the Whispering Pines... The little demoness they call Guen - along with her wicked cohort Asbjörn - have called upon forces of the darkness, and their little demonic friends are coming out to play bring chaos and some rather cute goodies with them... 
One of the little demons got into the Voodoo hut in the swamp... There was all-manner of pretty jars filled with the wild and wicked, but it was the Phials of Demons that she was seeking, sprinkling their magic to welcome in more of their dark, macabre and depraved seekers of delight to the land of the Necrosis... 

For those of you that haven't heard, my tale is more than just a fairy story... Necrosis has really come to Whispering Pines. It's less of a demonic uprising though, and more of a dark little shopping event, filled with some lovely treasures for those of us that like the dark and macabre! 
It may be just a small event, it's early days and who knows what it's future will be, but there are some amazing hidden gems from designers like Zombie Suicide, PsychoBarbie, Solstice, and Witch Craft - as well as others... Just an example of some of the goodies can be seen in this demonic voodoo store take over... 
It started with the coloration of the eyes to the Necrotic Pink FATHER eyes, and as they changed this strange mark of the Astara Goddess appeared on my forehead. I think it should be blamed on the magic leaking from the Phial of Demons that is releasing the Inner Demons! 
Honestly, I'm very excited about this event, both for my dear friend Guennie and for the fact it's time for a little more darkness... Either way I see good things coming, and I cannot wait!!!

House Mascots for the Games!

I am really on a roll at the moment, playing with silly things that are so different from one day to the next... Today I'm going in a totally different direction from yesterday's naughty post, I'm doing something really silly, and I LOVE IT!! 
Very Soon, the Winter Olympics will start - February 9th I believe - and so the world seems to be going sports crazy. I'm not really a sports person, I don't mind playing certain things, and I was a real Rugby fan when I was younger, but now I would rather read a book than watch sports. 
The Liaison Collaborative this month though, seems to be gearing up for the upcoming games, and all of it's designers are getting into the swing of things... Sporting fever even seems to have reached Hogwarts!

I know that Harry Potter's characters probably don't really think much about the Olympics, but they are into their sport of Quidditch. I made the mistake of asking my RL sister about Quidditch, and realised too late that it's a lot like a football fan talking about the off-side rule, it sounds like waffle! I smiled and nodded, then ended the call a little fast! 

It's the fault of Lost Junction - at this month's round of The Liaison Collaborative - as they have dusted off some awesome mascot sets for each of the Hogwarts Houses. You may have realised by now that I'd be a Slytherin, as I've mentioned it before, but each house is represented - Snake, Lion,. Badger and Crow?! 

Now I wasn't allowed on a Quidditch Pitch for safety reasons, because frankly I doubt I'd survive... So I was lucky to be allowed access onto the field at the well-known Second Life Cheerleading Squad field. These ladies are very friendly, and pack a lot of pep into any event that they attend so maybe you'd want to see them for yourself, or even become one of the SLCS girls?! Check them out, along with their impressive Srooc Skytower Memorial Stadium.

While on the subject of sports though I have to mention the pose I'm doing as a mascot... It's from a set of poses also released at The Liaison Collaborative, by NANTRA, called Going for Gold. Now as I've shown, by adding the store ad below, these are ice skating poses, but they looked perfect as my mascot was diving all over the place getting the crowd excited, and I love the fact that these poses are able to be used for all kinds of things!!!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

YAY IT'S FINALLY HERE, THE DAY THAT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR, FOR THE PAST FEW MONTHS... TODAY I'M GOING HOME TO SEE MY FAMILY AND SPEND CHRISTMAS WITH THEM YAY!!!!!
Sorry for the excitement, anyone who knows me would know that it's been a few years since I had the chance to go home and spend the holidays with family, so it's a pretty big thing!
That having been said, I MAY be able to blog something while I'm away, but I may not too, so if I go silent you know why. Yet I couldn't resist taking just a few minutes this morning to send you a little message...

My Brother Kris

I took a picture of me and my brother a while ago, and have been a little slow about posting it... There's all kinds of reasons as to why, and they won't be something that I discuss here - purely and simply because I'm not involved and only there as a support for the people that are - but I guess I was slow in sharing this because I didn't want to get caught up in any kind of fallout. I love and care for all of the parties involved, and didn't want anyone to think that I was picking a side, because that's really not the case, but my brother know's what he's done and what I think of him after all of this... 

He's a freaking - and that's the polite version of what I called him - idiot, but he's still my brother. I chose him as such - it's one of the beautiful things about SL, that you can pick the people you call family - although I hope that he's learnt a valuable lesson in all this drama... 
Anyway let me introduce you... This is Kris, my Idiot Brother. He's the most accident prone, poop obsessed - an obsession he shares with my hubby you'll notice - weirdo that I could have chosen, but if you know anything about me then I'd expect you know we seem to match pretty well as siblings LOL... Kris can and does cause himself accidents with the most basic of household activities - if you're lucky enough to meet him, ask him about the shower incident - and I guess the main reason that he keeps me close is because I help him fulfil a need to poop... Every time he's around me, without fail, Kris has to go!! It's like I'm magic or something?! So that's the reason we're now Brother and Sister LOL... 
Kris is one of the Gators MC, it's how we met, and he's become a real family member since he joined - he joins Blake and Gary as one of my crazy brothers - and although we pick on each other, I'm sure I can say he'll always be the Pissy to my Turdh... Just so long as he can stop himself being a freaking idiot?!
