Deep in the dark underground caves, if you are lucky, you may stumble upon the realm of the Crystal Fae! It's a dark cavernous world, but if you listen closely to the silence of the caves you may hear that tinkling ringing sound... It's not the rush of water as some would have you believe, it's the calling of the crystals, luring you deeper to entertain their fairy mistress... Her cavern, if you're lucky enough to find it is luminous... The glowing crystals cast rainbow shadows on the walls and ethereal butterflies flutter in a ghostly pale dance, and there, in the midst of it all - the Crystal Fairy, her body slowly turning into the rocks that she's guardian of...
My mind seems to wander sometimes when it comes to making fantasy pictures, and the stories grow and wrap themselves in the story that pours from the picture. It's one of my favourite times to work on things and it's really the most therapeutic medicine.
I was over-the-top inspired by this amazing gacha collection from CURELESS called "Precious Gem" - it's a new release at The Epiphany until May 20th - and I HAD to have it as soon as Kaorinette - the mastermind behind CURELESS - started showing it off... It just seemed to build itself into a story, as the best stories tend to do, with the addition of some crystals that I grabbed from CELESTE at Ostara's Altar - it's the last day of the event by the way today so don't miss out if you haven't been yet - her cave became a place of wonders...

I've heard people say that my pics have been fairly pretty and rather light and girly as of late, and while that's not a bad thing, I had a living dead doll that needed a bit of out in the air time.
I took myself off, dressed myself up so and let the dark little me out for some fun... Heading out in search of a deviant little party to wile away the hours...
At the NO SALVATION Gothic Cathedral they have a beautiful location that's perfect to spend time with a loved one, dancing or even, if you're so inclined, to indulge in a little kinkiness!
She dressed up all pretty for her first night on the town, and it felt great to be so darkly pretty and most of it's due to this gorgeous dress from Oubliette. It's a Cleo Lace Dress in a midnight colour, and it's available from Ostara's Altar. I added one or two pretty matching rosy accessories... Some amazing Rose Pentagram Earrings - from Neverwish - and a beautiful eye-patch, the Arachnes Garden, which is also an Oubliette item but is actually the Ostara's Altar hunt prize...
Now all she needs is someone to dance with, and the party will be perfect...

While in isolation, Rudh has been taking the time to improve herself, learn a few new skills and dust off some of her old ones... There's no time for things like that normally, so when you get the chance you shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth right?!
Today it was time to make a little magic, I set myself up a new little cosy, safe space where I wouldn't be disturbed, and then I set to work... It's lucky I was on my own... It wasn't going well...
I whipped the magic up, and got the room looking perfect, then an oopsie happened!
The cards that I'd set out for a reading started levitating and swirling around the room, causing chaos before I could even start. It was a little DISORDERLY!

To herald the start of Spring, the beautifully Spring themed events are starting and there is an abundance of all things pretty and spring-like pouring into the dark Wintery corners of Second Life. One of those, may or may not, have been called in by the witches of Second Life... It's the welcoming of Spring at the Gardens of Ostara's Altar...
While I was playing with the goodies from Ostara's Altar, I found myself being drawn out into the mystical wilds of The Outer Garden to feel the nature of spring...
Some how the magic took control of me and the Spring crept into my dark little dead doll heart...

Today I feel like celebrating the Spring just a little more, with another trip to Ostara's Altar.
This is all about the Wiccan - or perhaps Pagan - tradition of welcoming the Spring and all the changes that come with it, such as the new life, the new beginnings and even the general changes that the start of the year entails. Now I'm not a Wiccan, but I can fully get behind these kind of celebrations. It's great to celebrate change - even though I'll fully admit that it tends to bring out the anxiety in me!
So today I'm going to dedicate a gift to the gods, and thank them for the newness, the freshness and the Spring!
There was so much choice in the releases from the design team behind Ostara's Altar that a girl is spoilt for choice!
In the Magic Within Altar Room - a release from SynCo - you'll find the LORE Moon Stone, the best place for leaving a dedication to the Gods. Since it's Spring, and I'm living in Holland I've been bringing our national flower, bunches of Tulips - thanks to LODE at Shiny Shabby in the baskets and Tentacio's Tulip Bouquet!
The maidens that leave the dedications at the Altar are dressed to match the magical folk that visit this special, magical place... Each of the maidens wears an Oubliette Flora Dress - this time in a Spell colour combination - with the Vindicator Wings - by Deadly Nightshade - to represent her rank. These things, as well as the Skybox and Stone, are available now at Ostara's Altar, so you too can leave your own offerings to the Gods...

Today is one of those gorgeous Spring days! I will always be an Autumn girl but I have to admit that Spring comes a very close second. All the life starting to appear, the flowers in bloom and the sounds of some very happy birds in the garden makes me feel like a very happy girl inside. I'm not really a fan of sunshine - when it get's too hot I get cranky lol - but Spring sunshine is warming and gentle and it feels nice on the skin after a long Winter of grey.
This month, until April 5th, we're celebrating the coming of the Spring with a special event dedicated to Ostara's Altar... Bring on the flowers, bring on the magic, bring on the new beginnings and the start of something beautiful!
The Ostara's Altar event is still up and running, bringing together some brilliant designers with a cacophony of colour, magic and femininity that welcomes the Spring season. I've been in love with so many pretty things, that the inner girlie girl has been screaming to come out...
Today I want to share with you some of the pretties!! Some of the pretties for accessorizing a Springtime goddess look!
Let's start with the biggest and most obvious item and work our way from there... The Amarillis Headpiece is one of two things in this picture by the store Zibska - the second being the awesome Aviva Eyemakeup which is a hunt prize for the event. Now pink is normally not my colour, but in this case I couldn't resist getting my pink on, especially when it combined with the vibrant blue of the eyeshadow. These colours were reflected well in the somewhat hidden but still available to see Moon Child Horns from Cubic Cherry - who also made the Nemi Eyes, which are the stores hunt prize! I let the colour flow through just a little more in the gorgeous Astara "Beauty Within" Collar and then spiced up the background with a little more pink in the form of Spyralle's Primrose Votive Petites.
For now, that's enough pink! Anymore and my friends will be checking my pulse to make sure I'm OK, but when Ostara calls for pink, Ostara calls for pink!

Another event has opened this week and it's not so dark but a lot more pretty and full of spring Easter happiness. There's an abundance of magic, pastels and softness that makes this event so pretty.
Ostara's Altar is a Dark Passions Event, an event so full of whimsy that it's the perfect Spring location for any pretty fairytale goddess...
So today I'm going to share some of the pretties, let's call it a look of the day for Ostara...
What a pretty to start with huh? Isn't this dress pretty! I love the colours and the softness to it, it looks like something straight out of Arwen's closet and it looks like it's been made from fine silk! It's a dress from Dreaming Thicket called Morning Glory and this is the Lily coloured version, although there are about 5 different colour combinations to choose from.
Before the event gets too much into full swing, and my inner goddess truly reveals herself though it's a good idea to cleanse the aura, she's going to sage herself - thanks to a Smudging Sage from lunacy, and then indulge in a few early Easter treats.
There's Easter themed treats all over this adorable little altar - maybe it's not for Ostara though, it's definitely for me - Roawenwood set out eggs and flowers, Spyralle provided the tea and Paper Moon even let these Wildflower Wabbits hop on in to bring some springtime sunshine into the darkened room...

Today I have chosen to be a goddess, I'm going to let my inner beauty out a bit, while I drag the somewhat weird and kinky along too... It's going to be magic!
At the Whole Wheat location is an area of Serenity... A beautiful space that seems perfect for a magical goddess like myself LOL...
Skantily clad in an ivory drape dress from Asteria - which hangs open just enough to teasingly show her Spring Nipple Piercings - from Ama. Her purple hair and eyebrows have dyed to a pretty shade of mauve, with her eyebrows even being shaved to represents the "Tigre" that hides inside this goddess - eyebrows which you can get from Nightmare at Suicide Dollz by the way!
It is however, her gorgeous Spring Witch Halo that defines her goddess status - part of the Spring Witch Set from Nightmare at Ostara's Altar - and her affinity with animals that shows her true goddess form. This adorable little Witchy Rabbit - from PSYCHO.Byts at the Ostara Event - wouldn'y stop following her as she wandered through the serenity garden...
It looks like she gained a little friend today, someone to enjoy the serenity!
