No Beauty Treatments Are Needed, A Lobotomy Would Suffice

Sometimes the mind is a scary place to be, mine has always been one that has a lot of self-doubt and sensitivity... I pick up on people's emotions and reciprocate them, I worry and then worry some more about things that aren't even there and my mind makes up things that aren't even true, so when reality hits me with something big it tends to pour over me like a waterfall... 
So much is happening - or not happening - that last night I snapped... I cried myself to sleep... As a result I found myself feeling empty - almost dead inside - and I wonder is it time for me to make some changes?! I won't go into details, at least not yet, but if the photos I'm coming out with over the next few days seem to fit the Halloween season more than the festive one we are heading for please forgive me! 

I will say that when I am in this frame of mind, I seem to be able to create photos that I love... This is one of them! Normally I over think photos and worry that they aren't good enough, this time my mind is distracted and you can see that I just did what felt natural! I am glad that it worked... 
Rudh was having a little bit of a nip'n'tuck, making some of those changes - there are a few in SL at the moment but not so many as in RL luckily! - but something went wrong and she ended up needing a Lobotomy rather than her simple beauty procedures!
Laid out on a [ContraptioN] table, perhaps she should have known that a procedure like this wouldn't need an embalmer present, yet it appears she was in the right place. The hard table covered with a blanket, the tools of the trade laid on her stomach and the light of the large body freezer casting an eerie glow over her pale skin. The only signs of her procedure - apart from her state of course - are the felt tip markings drawn to show what needed fixing... The doctors of the antielle Beauty Clinic having prepared her for a Suction! 
Minor changes will occur in my SL in the next few days, but it's the RL things that will be more drastic... Still if you are willing to come along with me then hold onto your hats, it's going to be a bumpy ride!

Working the YumYums Night Shift...

Sometimes I put on an outfit and think that I am going to do one thing, but then I end up wandering down a completely different path.
This was one of those times... I was sent an item from one of the awesome stores that I blog for and suddenly an anime character was forming in my head... I think it was the HUGE bow... I covered myself in blood, and fully intended to do something horrorifying...

Yet I ended up taking a part time job in the store where the shirt came from LOL...
OK so not really but this picture did make me feel a bit like the new girl coming to take over the night shift... I'm not so sure that the kitty behind the desk likes my bloody anime girl look, but I am loving this...
The HUGE bow shirt - called Bows Before Bros - is a release from yumyums for IDK this month... It comes in a huge range of bow colours and is perfect to rock that sailor moon style outfit! I accessorised that with a gorgeous pair of SilentSparrow Luna Antlers... The pretty butterflies adding something extra and the tiny BOOM Precious Bow Choker... 
But that was where the pretty stopped... I had - for some totally unexplainable reason other than my mind is WEIRD - wandered down a slightly darker path with the look than I intended... I wore dark make-up, a splattering of blood which even covered my white Czarny Kanarek mini skirt.

The Fears of an Evil Dead Queen...

Fears about things can be controlling and all consuming at times, and I know that everyone has their own fears and ways of dealing with them, be they phobias - like I have with aliens - or be they those things that keep niggling at you in RL... Financial worries or worries about people... All of these things can affect your mood in so many ways... Right now I am worrying about the latter, trying not to let it affect me but still hoping that things remain as they are and should be... 
Luckily when I am feeling this way, the one thing that really helps me is putting together a look to reflect that mood... It helps me to channel all of my thoughts and feelings into something positive - you've no doubt seen photos when I've been totally empty and can tell when my mood becomes lighter again... This is one of those times when I feel pretty bleh...

Of course it has nothing to do with the things featured in the photograph - I blog what I love and these things are no different - but the fact I'm not in a kawaii crazy mood does give the game away a little... I won't go into details but yea, at the moment things are a little bit tough!!
Still let's focus on the pretty, seeing as that is what makes me happy at times like this, and boy the things I have in this photo are VERY PRETTY!!
The starting point for this look was a new release from Lassitude & Ennui - for The Secret Affair this month - I was stuck to chose the metal tone that I wanted to use, it is just a gorgeous set! It comes in three tones - silver, gold or black - and includes not only the tiara, the short necklace and the nipple covers, but also a longer necklace too...
I wanted to keep the look simple, but decided that I needed something a little bit more to complete the somewhat dead queen look that I was going for... Thankfully I had the gorgeous Akasha Necklace from DirtyStories that would be perfect! 
Then as per usual, when I am going dead, I went to town on make up! I was already wearing Insufferable Dastard's Zombie Eyes, but then when I surrounded them with eye make-ups from Gothica - the black look - and PixyStix - the red liner, it looked more evil than I could have hoped for... YAY I was pleased... All I needed was a massive scar, thank you antielle, and the evil dead queen who represents my fears at the moment was complete!!!

Can I get a lift?

Those crazy days when all you want to do is go out dancing, let your hair down and not care about the things that are haunting you, no matter how 'psycho' they might be, come and go... I am in the midst of that feeling and it's hard to believe they came so early on this year... Kinda sucks when you think about it really? The thought of knowing that drama is likely to blow up in your face at any given time! It's almost like waiting for a bus, you know it's coming!!!
I guess in light of everything that has been going on in the world lately, my worries seem more than a little petty. To an outsider - or should that be anyone that's not in my head with me - things would seem like pointless worries, but to me they are a series of personal issues and my brain just will not stop them being mulled over and over!

So, Rudh went dancing... Distracting my mind is a necessary thing. RL has been full of watching the news about the "Je Suis Charlie" campaign over the recent horrific attacks and SL seems to be filling up with pointless bleh... It was necessary to let her hair down!
The place I decided to check out was a new club called Master Bates Motel and Strip Club... Now I know what you're thinking, YES it's an Adult place and YES there are places to do lots of naughty things, but I'd heard it was good and heard it had a good atmosphere... Unfortunately when I went over, there was no one there but an AFK dancer... Still the place looks great, I will have to go back hehe...
The outfit was just too cute - least I think so anyway - not to share it with you! I had my hair curled up into a retro look that I have been wearing recently, called You from Magika, and it was definitely the most girlie part of my outfit hehe... It descended into debauchery from there LOL...
The skirt was the reason that I started to pull this look together though, I was out shopping at Christmas with a very old friend who dragged me to Mesh Head. Now I'd heard a LOT about this store - it's like a Biker Paradise for shopping and I know that a lot of the Gator girlies go there - I'd never been but now I might have to start perusing their items on the marketplace... I LOVE this Spiked Skirt. The textures are great and the options that it comes with are awesome too... I decided to keep the top fairly simple, and this Kio-Kio Bitch Bra just seemed like a great match with the skirt!
Then to my favourite part... ACCESSORIES!!! I love finishing a look with accessories, not like some people where everything seems to get thrown at an outfit, but enough so I have pretties to accentuate an outfit! Pretties like the new collar I bought myself - no one ever gets to leash to it I just love collars hehe - from CerberusXing. It's a Plug Me In Collar with a USB cable that runs around my neck and down my back! I've also put on one - yes one because I am cool and can wear odd things on my feet LOL - of the Implant series Chained Heels from the same store. I LOVE their creations, and luckily someone awesome gave me a shopping spree in their store for Christmas - YAY THANK YOU by the way x. On the other foot I strapped myself into an item that was created for the Depraved Nation Frost Event, which has now closed, but I am hoping you will still be able to find at the mainstore. This is one of the Foot Straps released by Cute Poison. They come in a series of colours, and each one comes in a pair.
Now all I need to do is wait, I called the MC hoping someone would come get me on their bike. I hope that someone comes to get me before something comes out of that creepy looking house on the hill... That place looks far too familiar...

Kawaii Slime?!

2015 is already well under way... It doesn't feel any different from a few days ago - although I am disappointed to remind everyone that 2015 is not as Back to the Future predicted - BUT I have spent the last two days shopping in SL to feed my January Sales addiction without actually hitting any sales LOL...
Surprisingly for me I haven't found myself heading into too many dark and depraved looks, if you can forget the hook picture from before LOL, but it's only day three of a new year, there's plenty of time for that yet! 

One of those things that I had to have as soon as I saw it advertised was this sweater from INVADER. Now I will say that this is a totally new store for me, I've never heard of it before, I found it randomly through the past Fi*Friday event, and plan on heading over to hit up their main store very soon... Soon as I have some more cash that is hehe... 
Though it wasn't only that that had me kawaii-ish excited... This new hair from Ploom, which you've seen here before, just seemed to fit so well with the look I was drawn towards. Although it was the accessories that really got me excited. 
I've had the Seal Pup - from Alchemy - for a while now, they were available as gacha items, and I think this one was a gift from Jimmy. They come in a collection of different animal costumes, but seriously HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE A DUCKIE?! 
The bag however, could get me into a little trouble... I'm SO LATE sharing this that I have a funny feeling that Iokko may spank my butt - although it's not punishment if you enjoy something hehe... The Pack's Trail - based on the Packman Game - are shoulder bags featuring the Packman Ghosts... These Ghost bags are available through the store yumyums - hence why it is Iokko that might spank me - but you can still grab them until January 5th at the Level Up's Retro line-up... 
Damn look at the time I cannot stop to chat any longer, I NEED to finish my friend's wedding photos dammit... LOL... Toodles!!!

What a way to end the year... Zombie Prom Queen!

Sometimes the things I put on put me in a creative mood, I'm often saying so, but it's not normally the props that I use which create the ideas in my head. Normally I have a look and wonder how in the heck I will photograph it, but this time I had a pose all lined up and nothing to wear... 
That's where Horror Haute came into play... As I said before, the theme of Horror Haute - which has been extended this month due to the Holiday Season until January 4th - is Zombie Apocalyptic Christmas... Now one store in particular really caught my attention... As a Living Dead Dolly a lot of the time, I always love playing dress up whilst being my dead self... This time I got to play a Zombie Prom Queen... YAY!!! 

Let's start with the prop that caused me the problems though shall we... This prop is available in a gacha machine from Image Essentials, and although you can grab it now at the Depraved Nation FROST Event, I believe that comes down pretty soon! These snow globes - or should that be Handy Globes - tell it like it is, this one bearing the statement "Santa Got Me This" but the variety of Christmas messages will be useful year after year! 
The outfit that I played dress up in however, is a Horror Haute release from the store Livid. The Zombie Prom Queen outfit comes with not just a dress and sash, but also a tiara and corsage, perfect for any prom queen. The blood is just a minor mishap that's all! I teased my hair into some adorable curls from Magika, and the look was set, all I had to do was get rid of all of the competition and I was crowned Prom Queen... 
A perfect way to end the year!!! Happy New Year Everyone!

Just a little More Christmas...

I swear that the Christmas looks are nearly over... I keep my decorations up in RL until twelfth night in RL, and so the Christmas looks for me may still keep coming until then LOL... It's not my fault though, I got back home and started to play with the awesomeness that is this month's Horror Haute collection - as I mentioned before - and wouldn't you know it, the theme is Zombie Apocalypse at Christmas...
These things were things that I simply had to share, I couldn't resist this sweater when I saw it in the Horror Haute line-up, and OK so Christmas is over, this is like one of those really ugly sweaters that you get and stash in the back of your wardrobe... Me being me, I HAD to wear it hehe... I think it's awesome! 

Another thing, we can say is YES OK Rudh did another look of the day LOL... There seem to be more and more of these appearing, just don't ever think my photography will be as good as the million fashion blogs out there... Mine will pretty much remain a journal, with some random looks of the days thrown in lol...
The sweater that got me raving is the main focus of this look however, and it fits perfectly with the Horror Haute's event theme this month. Tasty Pudding offered up male and female versions of this Dead Inside Sweater, and it just went to prove that I did not eat too much Christmas Dinner, I'm so skinny you can see my spine hehe... I accessorised it with a bracelet, worn over the sleeve so you can clearly see it, from Ghost Story. This is one of those new to Horror Haute Designers, but they seem to make pretty awesome stuff if this first outing is anything to go by! I love the different designs on each bead of this bracelet, I just wonder will it work to prepare me for the apocalypse, or will it just make me look awesome when the zombies attack. Thinking about it now, what am I worrying about, I'm a living dead dolly so it shouldn't bother me, but all these things are handy to know what I'm up against, I suppose LOL... 
Like always, I'm tying things from various events together with these Horrorific things... Variety is the spice of life and I like things a little spicy! The annual Ploom 12 Days of Christmas event is well under-way, in fact it is almost over... There are 12 awesome new hairstyles, as well as 12 festive poses, to choose from at a 50% discount until the event deadline. I chose this Ayane Hair because I really loved the somewhat crazy anime look to it, and to tie in with that childish feel I had to add a teddy bear. This teddy is one of the free gifts from The Arcade crew, who have placed goodies for free under the Christmas Tree. One of the goodies is this BoOgErS Santa Bear! 
Just one more thing, a little close-up... I just wanted to make sure the bracelet was very clear, so a close-up is the simplest option!!!

Now to warm up the frostbite?!

I'M BACKKKKKK... Did ya miss me??? I had an amazing Christmas Holiday with my family at home in the UK, it would have been perfect if I hadn't gotten sick on Boxing Day - the name we Brits use for Second Christmas Day! - which meant that I had to miss the annual family get together!!
Still now that I am back, after a very cold trek home through snow! I have to defrost my frost bitten toesies and fingers, and get back into the blogging thing hehe... 
I have so much to share with you, I cannot quite believe that I almost missed my favourite event of the month! Horror Haute started just as I was going home, I thought NOOOOOOOOO but I will tell you, in a very excitable way, that Horror Haute December will carry on until January 4th!!! 

This gives the little Zombie Girl Me - yes the theme of the month for Horror Haute is Zombie Apocalyptic Christmas! - a chance to actually defrost her fingers and toes and get ready for the few days of blogging like a demon hehe... 
The little Zombie Girl trekked miles to get somewhere warm so that she could finally defrost her toes... That's what she gets I suppose for wearing Snowshoes - from ImmateriA - in the snow without socks or boots in them?! Though I guess the little dress didn't help much to protect her from the cold either! Then again, the gorgeous Latika Dress from Blue Blood - which you can pick up at Horror Haute along with the snow shoes - was just too cute not to play around in. It comes in light and dark versions, but for some reason - which astounds me - I was drawn to the pretty light designs, that is if you can ignore the blood of course! 
I guess I should also show off the camp that she wandered into, it's a set made perfectly to shelter in during the Zombie Apocalyptic Christmas, from La Maison Des Corbeaux. The set includes a tent, a sleeping bag and a fire, so you should stay warm and dry, just don't forget something to kill the zombies with or you won't be needing the camp for very long hehe...

Come to the Creepy Carnival?!

Some people have an fear of the circus, not because of the circus itself but because of something - or should that be someone - you'd see there... I never really liked them all that much, and would purposely avoid any that I ever had the displeasure of seeing face to face, but in truth Clowns have never been the stuff of my nightmares! I can see why people don't like them, and as I said I don't actively have anything to do with them if I can, but according to Sam Winchester "apparently clowns kill", and as we all well know, if it's said on the TV then it MUST be true LOL... 
Seems though that I have NO PROBLEM dressing Rudh up as some for of creepy carnie or another, being honest with you normal clowns are the ones that freak me most, anything that looks evil I know is fairytale... If that makes any sense what-so-ever?!

My dark and macabre side is often attracted to the bright colours of the Carnival... I had been out shopping on two separate occasions with two of my bestest peoples, and the attraction of the Circus pulled me to the dark side... So of course, me being me I HAD to make a dark carnie costume LOL... 
Starting with my look, and PLEASE don't ask me why I was drawn to pink LOL I don't know! The hair is a pretty one, with it's cute and curly base, from Ploom that you can win yourself from a gacha at the Fantasy Gacha Carnival. You may see this a LOT, I have it in every colour now because I wanted a red version and couldn't get one LOL... I went with pink dipped dyes in the end because I just couldn't resist this old but still pretty Leri Miles Designs body suit! The necklace is one that seemed to fit perfectly with the look I was creating, but I will admit this is actually an older release too - I hope these things are still available! It's a necklace called Archaic from Cute Poison, who not only make the best piercings in SL - in my opinion - but also make other pretty adornments, just like this one! Then came the time to put on my carnie girl make-up... I went for a Dark Circus look, from A*S, that you can pick up now at Cirque De Seraphim! 
While on the subject of Cirque De Seraphim, I should actually start talking about my little circus friends! Eli the Elephant, in a gray version, can be picked up from the Silentsparrow booth at the Cirque, and even though I had such a hard time choosing between the colours, the fact that I can change her clothes is AWESOME! Lastly, but by no means least, the super cute little Ghost Clown Dolly from Katat0nik... I had to play the machine A LOT for this one - stupid gachas LOL - but to make it even worse Jimmy wanted one too LOL *facepalms*... ISN'T SHE CUTE THOUGH?! Go get your own at the Xiasumi School Festival before they run back to hide at the mainstore, just be aware, they are in the haunted area... Keep checking over your shoulder people hehe...

I got randomly creative with this one... I think it was a mixture of the prop, the costume and the Halloween feeling in the air! I also got a little saucy with it... Sorry if it offends anyone, but I wanted to use that spirit in the mirror in a depraved kind of way, and make it seem like it had taken control of the dead beauty pageant winner that had arisen from her slumber!
The mirror and its heap of skulls is a creation from ImmateriA. It had been given up as a hunt prize within the Gator Maze, but the hunt is now over and all of the prizes will be returned to their designer owners! Thank you to those people that donated gifts for the hunt, we hope that you had some interest from new shoppers!
The outfit was one of my "costumes" - although I wore it just because I liked it hehe - but it did cause a bit of a stir, as well I was mostly naked!
The most obvious part of this look has to be the wounding! I mean you really cannot miss the fact that I have been cut up and my skin has been removed in large chunks! Thanks to F'N'HawT and it's weird sense of Skin Deep Fashion, The Beauty Pageant - running until November 1st - will never be the same again LOL... The Zombie Queen Sash was a prize worthy of a winner, from the store STATIC... To finish the look I added a pair of specially made Collabor88 Prudence Pumps from Noodles... These skin pumps are perfect for walking the stage and wowing the Zombie judges!!!
