Leave me alone... I'm Reading!

After a day like today I want to do nothing more than tell the world to sod off.. I want to be left alone somewhere I'm surrounded by books, without anyone near me and the only thing I have to wonder about is WHAT am I going to read...

I long for the kinda days I used to hate... The days when our school required us to spend anhour lesson a week in the library reading all kinds of different books... I wish I could go back to that, rather than working my arse off as an adult... Being an adult is majorly overrated!!!
Also can I just take a moment to say... I FREAKIN LOVE THIS OUTFIT!!!! A pair of Aika Pants - from AsteroidBox at Kustom9 until April 10th - and the coolest looking shirt and tie combo - from amiable - it's like the best version of a school uniform that I never had!!!

Killing Cupid

It is hard to believe that it's almost the end of February already and that means we're already two months down and into the third month of the year. March is one of the most important month's of the year, since it's my Birthday month and this year I'll be a number that rhymes with sporty... First though there is ONE thing that I have to do before we end out February... 

I need to rid us of that annoying little thing that has been buzzing around us for the month, and that means someone perhaps me, needs to get rid of that little Cupid... I think if I'm lucky I can catch him in his hideout somewhere in the Tunnel of Love - which is a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - I'm armed with a few things like bows and arrows, and even the Until Death Axe - which is from Krescendo - and and makes the perfect weapon for an angel killer like me...

A Magical Grim Gourmet

A new year is the perfect idea for a fresh start and that means it's a time to move on from things that aren't happy and that means getting rid of things that aren't good for us. I HATE the thought of hurting anyone but sometimes I've just gotta do what's best from me... This isn't aimed at ANYONE in particular, it's not aimed at anything... It's more of a reminder to help me get through things that make me sad... 
I found the perfect way to make me feel better, and getrid of the evidence all at once... 

During a bout of time within the Insomnia Kitchen, I found the perfect solution to any problem I NEEDED to get over. It came to me while I was cooking a chilli, as soon as I opened the spices in the spice rack, a cloud appaeared that started to sparkle and suddenly a magical MadCat - which happens to be an Exclusive available from MadPea at the MadPea Unlimited Sim where you can play 10 immersive adventures including the thrilling new crime adventure "The Naughty List Murders", and I may just see you there hehe - appeared... This MadCat began sharing dangerously devious, but equally practical ideas in ways to get rid of bodies... Soup and Pasta Sauce being the top of his list...It was going to be a very Grim Gourmet - thanks to the adorable outfit from everfaery I'd stay a little cleaner I hope - and I guess that it was lucky I'd been in a bit of a fight and someone had died in a chair right there in my kitchen...

Hairy Hare Pirates!

Hair Fair 2022 has started, in fact it's been open for a while now, and there are lots of hairy reasons to pop in for a visit. Hair Fair is a very long standing event in SL now, every year they raise money and awareness for a charity that provides support and happiness for children in need... Wigs for Kids is a charity that creates wigs for children who have lost their hair through illness, providing these kids with a boost of confidence and happiness, something that is very much needed in the world...
This year however, there are also PIRATES... The Hare Fair Hares have become a pirate crew and they are on land in search of hairy treasures... 

Hair Fair this year seems to have been met with mixed reactions from the SL shopping community, but one thing remains the same. There is something for everyone, to meet any budget - be it freebie gifts, exclusive releases from a variety of different designers and even the bandanas, which in years gone by were brilliant for shopping in a laggy, chaotic place. Some of the bigger SL hair designers were not present, but that doesn't matter, there are lots of new designers to find showing off their wares, and I know that I managed to find 4 or 5 styles that I love! 
Whilst there though I also fell in love with the cutest pirate crew, made up exclusively of the Hair Fair Hares, that is until I got myself into the crew, and became the new captain... They loved my hair, which I'd just had done at the Exile booth - who made 25% donation to the cause from any of the purchase sales made, Exile can be found in the Foils Sim of the event.

The Demon Nun

I know that I've been in a funk for the past few days, but you can tell that I've kinda started feeling better since I decided to do something a little, dark and twisted and that's usually a good sign my mood is improving. After all, I only do the things I love when I'm feeling happier... People might think of the dark and moody with just a hint of gore isn't all that happy, but it's my happy place and I hope that you can accept that! 
The Demonness in me decided to try and learn something new, maybe I'm inspired by the show I'm watching talking about the Bible, but I think that Sunday School has changed, and I have found myself in a bloody mess... 

To sneak into the Sunday School, the little demonness in me managed to find a costume like a veil and headpiece - from DAMI and the Agnes Look Collection - although the Anti-Collar - from Tardfish at Fetish Fair - with it's upside down cross might just give her away as not being as nun-like as she might want you to think... It might also be one of the main reasons why the other nuns had ganged together and forced the Stake into her chest!

Bloody Murder for Coffee

It's Saturday night, the night before Halloween... I've been busy at work all day and instead of heading out to get my party on, I'm curled up on the couch under a blanket watching scary movies, and snoozing! It has been one of those days where anyone who crossed my path could have found themselves getting murdered - if say I'd been someone like Jason or Michael - but I guess I'll leave that to Rudh and her murderous Halloween rampage... 

Though her murderous rampage would not be the "End of Story"- which by the way is the most amazing backdrop from K&S that I fell in love with - it's just the beginning... She was wandering through the woods as the red sun was rising, it had been a long hard day and night, but suddenly she caught the scent of something really needed... 
A tent was set up, in a cute little campsite - a set created by Violetility & Violation - the campers had made the mistake of making a pot of coffee... Rudh HAD to have the coffee!! Her Cleaver - from lock&tuft - wanted to make sure she got some... The campers didn't make it out alive, but at least Rudh in her super cute "Final Slumber" Pyjamas - from Decoy - was able to get herself a fresh cup of coffee...

Sailing with the SailPunk Captain

Been on  a bit of a fantasy kick the past couple of days, playing with things that have been a little more fairytale than real especially when it comes to taking pictures... I guess I've neededmore of an escape than usual. My dark little self won't cut it at the moment... 
Today I'm going on an adventure... I'm going to sail the seven seas in a steampunked up Pirate style, reminiscent of tales by Jules Verne... Avast me hearties and shiver me timbers, Cap'n Rudh's the name... 

As the Cap'n of this Sail Punk Crew, we need to get this ship looking shipshape... My first mate the Gyro Copter Gnomelin - a gacha item from flUff - will work on the Burning Rose's main bridge - a collection of items from the Burning Rose gacha collection by Quills & Curiosities - while I polish a 'Pirate's Best Friend' Cutlass - available from Bunk. I look fabulous as a Pirate captain, dressed up Professor collection - from Pink Lemonade - with a hint of Swashbuckler items - from lock&tuft...

Time for some Styling?!

Today has been a day of rest for me, well not work anyway, rest is a thing that will have to happen when I'm dead. Though today at least has been about shopping and pampering! I've had a chance to do something that hasn't been work... It was fun... 

Rudh on the other hand decided it was time for a little fixing herself up a bit, and when she looked in the mirror her usually glam red locks were looking a little faded. It was time for a trip to the salon... She pulled on a hat - a style by lock&tuft and went on out to Barbie's Hairsalon! She's good though, she brought her own brushes in her Tentacio Summer Tote Bag. 
I love the top that Rudh is wearing today though. It's a release from MuggleBorn called Mavis that comes in two variations, with or without holes... Perfect for dressing up, down, casual or styling!
