Santa she threw the first stone, and I may have gotten caught ready to throw one, but as soon as his back is turned, this stone filled snow ball will be hurled at someone's face, without the warning of "think fast!" So standing at the grotto, for a mugshot was not really on my to-do list, especially this close to Christmas when I'm trying so hard to make it over to the nice list, but sometimes people give you a damn good reason... They know who I'm talking about, they are the target for my next stone filled snowball LOL... Not mentioning names, that would get me into even more trouble with Santa!! Though all of this picture came about because {NANTRA} made this awesome gacha collection filled with Christmas Criminals Poses... You can get into trouble for all kinds of things this year... Spiking the milk for Santa, Carolling off key, and even Being a Ho Ho Ho - luckily I wasn't caught for that one LOL... Yet sometimes a girl can't help but throw snowballs full of stones!! Recently I met someone in SL that I can actually say seems like a true Magician... I'd seen his art on Flickr, and I'd even met people that had photos by him but it was my sister Solde that introduced me to his photos... More like little works of art, the man behind these beautiful creations is Skip Staheli - owner of Purple Cows Photo Studio... His work is amazing and has the ability to evoke emotion, but having never been one to pay for photos I thought a photo of Rudh by Skip would be out of reach... Until one day when Solde told me I would be having a photo appointment with the magician photographer!!! She told me, everything had been handled, all I needed to do was find myself a killer outfit!!!! That's just what I did, and then the day came around and I was like an overly excited fan girl...
Mr Staheli put me right at ease and was given full control. He asked some simple questions, trying to find out what I would like, to which I answered him about being like a dead dolly, and that although I can be bright colours I'd more often be something sad. Then he began to play with me... The resulting photo being the small shot above. When I saw this I thought, UGH how can anyone make that look like something amazing... I needn't have worried, Skip Staheli worked some AMAZING magic and look at the outcome!

Being on holiday, visiting the family means that I am spending a LOT of time being driven around in other people's cars... The problem with this is that I tend to get VERY motion sick if I am made to sit in the back seat for too long... Yesterday was one of those times LOL... It wasn't pleasant! But why I hear you ask am I rambling on about this today... WELL... I have a photo with one of my favourite new pieces of furniture to share and I had the perfect excuse to talk about it, being in a car makes me feel like it's a bumper car when I'm not driving! Like I said in the title, not all bumper cars are so cosmopolitan as this one... THIS IS AWESOME! I randomly chose a pink version - which is not ever my first colour choice but in this case I simply couldn't resist! - from the store d'yer maker at the last round of Cosmopolitan... I know that the event line-up has now changed but these can still be grabbed from their mainstore! But it's not just the car that I want to rave about... The outfit is a new one that I found at R3volt! I LOVE their designs, and this one is no exception to that rule!! I love it when a look just falls together like this, and I love it even more when I can use PINK lol... This expression says a lot for me right now... It's one of those feelings that seems to have almost buried me somewhat... I know that sounds more than a little dramatic but there has been a lot going on in Rudhland over the last few weeks, and you're lucky that I'm not only posing for pictures looking a little dead as I have been known to before! I was feeling about a million miles away from romanctic thoughts this month and need to take a break from all the rainbow cuteness that the month of February seems to bring... I hope you don't mind! The slogan brandished all over my nungas in this look I randomly pulled together, really sums up my state of mind. Drama seems to follow me around since the beginning of the year, when am I going to get a break?
I don't know what it is about SL, but I always seem to find myself with people taking advantage, or with people assuming whatever is not true. The latest of this being the case. For now I'm laughing about it. Anyone who knows me will know that it's not true, but a word of warning to the wise... SL Charity Events, no matter how much they are done out of a pure heart will ALWAYS find someone who likes to spoil things, make you feel like a huge pile of crap and assume it's just a way to make a quick buck... Still enough of the ranting... I'm done with worrying about the petty drama of people who should know better! This top is one of my ABSOLUTE Favourites... I got back to it time and time again, and trust me that is a little bit of a rarity in my closet! It's from the store Blossom, that is unfortunately closed and I cannot find the top available anywhere to buy. Friends have asked in the past but it just seems to have GONE! The rest of the look was just set dressing really, I mean I bought these amazing shoes from Remarkable Oblivion, and this awesome pose prop from NanTra called Shut Up and Drive, both of which came from long since past sales events, and are now back happily at their origin stores. I'm sorry it took me so long to get these things displayed, I've had the picture ready FOREVER lol... OK so quiet time around the Gators isn't really the right term here... More like it was a giggle fest, shared with only poor Gary as a little testosterone - though he was too chicken to jump into the photo with all of us - it was nice to be able to have just a few of my sisters to share in this moment with, AND use as props in the photos I wanted to take featuring some of the brand new releases from Consignment and Floorplan! It's hard for me taking pictures of furniture, I don't feel that it is one of my strengths... Some people take AMAZING furniture only photos but I have never been able to do that! So when these gorgeous girls were standing around doing nothing I thought to myself "AH HA" lol... That's love isn't it, using them for my own needs LOL...
I was channelling another sister Solde this week, she's always seen with trademark white hair, but it looked so cute with my outfit that I hope she won't kill me for copying her style. The reason for this outfit came about due to the awesome shirt that I bought on Sunday. It was Lazy Sunday, I was being very lazy and I spotted these cute Lolita Dresses that were the release from Razor and I HAD to have them. Yes the HUD has the design in different colours, but I LOVED this combination and so pink and green it was LOL... I will admit that I tried it on without a skirt underneath, normally I would have gone without one, but for some reason I was feeling a little self concious, so I admit I made this dress just a little longer by adding a plain black teeny skirt underneath! Lastly, and as always, Accessories!!! The Necklace and Bracelet are a release from Goth1c0 for this months line up of The Witching Hour, which closes today! Available as individual parts - Bracelets and Necklaces are separates - this red coloured version is a RARE one, but all of the colours look this good so it was very hard to choose which to wear hehe... One of the things that I get most excited about happens to be Unicorns... I LOVE LOVE LOVE them, and in RL I have so many of the cute stuffed toy variety that HellBone is driven mad by them... I was even sent the most adorable little Unicorn friend for Christmas and now he sits smiling at me whilst I work on the PC. So when I saw that this month's line up for Collabor88 was based on dreams and had LOTS of unicorns to play with, I couldn't wait to see what was on offer... In the end it wasn't such a good idea, I spent a small fortune - though in this case you could say it was more like a fifthtune - but EEEEEH UNICORNS, what did you expect?!
EEEEH LOOK I'M UNICORN RUDH!!! This outfit was definitely more a Look-of-the-Week type deal, I would change, play with my clothes for hours to create the looks that I wanted to post, but I was always coming back to this outfit, I had to show you... I lived in this lol... Let's talk about it then... Starting with the non-Collabor88 item! I cannot begin to tell you just how much I love these fluffy monster boots - called Yeti Boots from ImmateriA - I have them in a few different colours, I have blogged them before when they were first released for the Horrorfestive, but here they are again in the adorable Cotton Candy colour, which by the way was PERFECT with the hair that I chose to wear. Who cares that Unicorns don't have clawed toes LOL... I certainly don't and if you don't like it, go find another unicorn LOL... The hair that these boots went perfectly with was in fact one of the Collabor88 releases. The hair is called Windsong, from the store Exile, I've worn this before too in various posts, but I just love the curly,windblown look to it, and the sparkles are just gorgeous! I teamed that with another gorgeous unicorn set from Half-Deer. The set I chose, in a prismatic colour, is awesome... It comes in a variety of colour combinations, and each set includes a pair of ears and a horn, as well as a tail that has the option for both sparkling and farting rainbows! FARTING RAINBOWS! Anyone who knows the family that I am part of knows just how much they all fart rainbows LOL... I fitted right in with this tail! The top I chose from Collabor88, comes from the store Nylon Outfitters, and bears the slogan "I was born a Unicorn", maybe this was try of me in a past life, maybe that's why the colourful crazy side refuses to shut up sometimes?! Or maybe it's the fact that whispering in my ear I have a more than cute Winged Baby Unicorn whispering in my ear... I blame MishMish for the baby unicorn, I mean I would try, but we all know that it's my fault for being Unicorn crazed hehe... That ladies and gents, is my look of the week... SO MUCH SPARKLE AND SO MUCH CUTE arghhhh... Lol I now need to find something else to wear however, this look is starting to smell LOL... In SL, as in RL, I am a redhead. I've been through multiple colour changes and will pull on wigs of any colour to fit an dressing up look that I am playing with... Though I do always come back to my red locks. When I was younger, I used to be teased in RL for being a redhead... It still happens today, I'm sure some people will know of the gingers are like vampires speech that comes from South Park, but more often than not I laugh at the people who say mean things, and try to better them with a snappy comeback... One of my favourites for when people call me a "Carrot Top" is that "Nuh Uh, Carrot tops are Green!" LOL... Ramble of the day that!
I guess to go with my ramble, I should put in a photo somewhere, and I guess we will call it Rudh's look of the day - even though I don't ever tend to do posts like that LOL... In fact it's been a look of about a week, as everytime I changed out of a dressing up look I put this back on LOL... So in the setting that surrounds the store, Meshopotamia, I will stand in the rain and tell you all about my outfit hehe... The basic clothing of my outfit was fairly simple, an old but much loved shirt - called Teagan - from R3volt, and my new favourite pair of jeans from GizzA, the Virginia Jeans in a Retro tone if you're interested by the way. I know that you cannot really see a lot of my clothing, but it was more something that would look cute with my new hair, rather than finding hair to match an outfit this time. The hair in question is one that was released for The Liason Collaborative, though I am not sure if it is still available there or not... You may have to go to the mainstore to find it... I fell in love with this Damselfly hair pretty much instantly, and loved the soft girlie feeling to it, even though it was a store I don't really know much about if I'm being honest! I accessorised the hair with some gorgeous blossoms from *LODE* in a pretty peach colour, and then remembered the gorgeous jewellery set that was put out by KOSH for the past Sunday's Lazy Sunday. I KNOW it's not Sunday anymore, but I am hoping that you will still go check the jewellery out, the necklaces - which you can't see here clearly - and the rings - which you can! - are available in 5 different designs... The rose design being used here to add just a little more flower power to the outfit hehe... Lastly, my little friend, and the entire reason that I rambled on about carrots... The Veggie Pals were released from Birdy a while ago now, as part of a collection for The Chapter Four. I love the full set of veggies, but I am willing to admit I had forgotten I got them... NOT ANYMORE! It's veggie time! The circus rolled into town... Actually it has been in town for a while now, but I've just been too busy to get to it! Seraphim is hosting an event called "Cirque De Seraphim", and it is filled with all kinds of awesome goodies, including my favourite irresistible treats - plushies or stuffed animals you might say! The event is a charity fundraiser for the ASPCA, with chucks of sales from many items going to the charity. If you look hard enough you will also find one or two freebies dotted in amongst the donation items... Including some that had me in stitches!
When I was younger, in my home town, we had a local "celebrity" - a homeless woman people referred to as the Bearded Lady of Guildford. Rumour was that she had at one time been a bearded lady in a circus, she was ALWAYS seen in a fake leopard fur coat, and she always talked to herself. In some ways I was saddened by seeing her, but in others I was in awe - and a little scared especially when I was really young - of her attitude when it came to the people that were rude whenever she was around. So when I was at the Cirque and I found this Consignment Chita Beard - which is a freebie I should add - I couldn't resist paying tribute to her! The fact that I realised just how much I looked like the Conchita Wurst of Eurovision 2014 fame, was just the icing on the cake! I dressed the look in a simple black skirt and wore a brand new - released for the current round of The Witching Hour - top called Miss Cordelia's Blouse in a Burtesque colour from Show Me On The Doll. I accessorised with my favourite new ring set from (Yummy) called Elemental, which you can pick up from Collabor88 for the month of November. Lastly but by no means least - and with a subtle intro to a song that I will be including lol - my little geek luftballon elephant friend... He is available at the Cirque De Seraphim too, and with his little balloon - wait for the link to the song... - maybe he wants to try to rise up, perhaps phoenix like? LOL, YAY I made a corny link to a song...
Some people, in SL, I know change their skin like a chameleon, wearing many different ones depending on how they feel - I do very occasionally when blogging something or being dead - but for me, finding a new "everyday wear" skin is important. I don't mind admitting that I am VERY fussy and will wear the same skin, as my basic skin, for long periods of time! So when I do seek to find a new one, and eventually find one that I am happy in, it is a bit of a big deal for me! It makes me feel like it's a fresh start, a new beginning and some might say a step forward, perhaps?
I guess that's why my photo has somewhat of a pensive nature to it?! What I will tell you is that, a few moments of contemplation whilst taking this photo - hiding from the MC - and giving myself a chance to breathe really do help in the humdrum of a SL day! My new skin is from Glam Affair. I like the way they look on my body and I love how soft and fresh faced this one looks too... I love the fact too though that a skin can be worn by anyone and look different. I bought this skin from the latest round of Collabor88 and was a little worried that I'd look cloned along with everyone else that tried the skin out... I didn't need to worry too much hehe... I looked different to all of the ladies trying demos! My second "OH MY GOD" thing in this photo has to be the seat! I LOVE this seat!!! I don't normally get over the top excited about furniture, but this Cocktailbird Nest Chair from {anc} - which you can win yourself at The Fantasy Gacha Carnival by the way - is just gorgeous! Stuffed with some cute poses and really pretty to look at, I am definitely using this in the garden and will be sitting there more often from now on hehe... The rest of my outfit will be clearer if I show a comparison between my skins though so...

That's not a problem with me, if you ever read my blog you will possibly have realised just how morbid I am at times hehe, but it's Berry's Birthday week, so some might think it's a little strange LOL!
Death look for me is normal LOL, I always say Rudh is like a Living Dead Girl - Thank you Mr. Zombie for giving her a theme song for her identity LOL - but when you have to make a look to fit a Meme, I tend to think ARGH what am I going to do, and even for a normal look for me I had this problem!?! Weird huh?! I pulled on some new, with some old and let myself die, all in the name of working on a Berry Meme hehe... Berry gave us a list of questions, as she sometimes does to go with a Meme... Let's answer those, shall we?! Do you ever think about dying? How do you expect you’ll die? To be honest, although I live my SL as a zombie almost, I don't really ever think about dying in RL. It seems weird to think about it now, but I would prefer to be one of those people that died in my sleep. I know it will be hard for those left behind but I would rather that than something which caused them more pain than my passing alone, ya know?! Do you believe in an afterlife? If so, how do you visualize it?I don't mind saying here that I am a non-religious person. I wouldn't say I am an Atheist as there are things that I believe in, a possible afterlife being one of them, but not the Heaven and Hell ideology. I'd like to think that my soul will continue on after my body dies, I've learnt so much for it to go to waste hehe... What is your preferred form of apocalypse and why? I think if the world was going to end in an apocalyptic way it would have to be something that seemed really impossible. I mean OK I know Zombies aren't real, but you see them everywhere - in TV, film, stories, you name it - so maybe something totally random like a teddy bear apocalypse - a zombie teddy bear apocalypse - or a giant cookie apocalypse! That sounds like fun, right?! How many times have you cheated death so far? Ummm, touching wood here, I don't think there is any occasion when I can say I have had to cheat death. Which fictional villain would you be okay being killed by? First off, Berry, if Thor comes to save you - especially the Chris Hemsworth Thor - can I have him next? As for the fictional villain I'd be OK to be killed by Maleficent maybe, I always thought she was the scariest Disney Villain. However, if we were going to be saved from the villain, I'd also be willing to risk myself for any of the Supernatural Villains... Sam Winchester can save me ANYTIME! If you’re murdered, do you stay and haunt the culprits forever or do you give up that opportunity to leave and go to heaven/hell/Cancun? It would depend on who I was allowed to haunt. I might stay by HellBone, not because I'd never want to leave him, but it would be fun to mess with his mind a little bit LOL... Will you have done everything you have wanted by the time you die? To be totally honest, I don't want to have... I want to die without knowing it's coming so that I won't even have the chance to think what didn't I do?! I take each day as it comes and try everything life throws at me... Least that way I can't say I wish I had done that when I had the chance!
