You might have noticed by now that I am a little into the macabre, gory, evil side of style in SL... In RL I a very much a jeans and t-shirts kinda girl that always wears her chunky boots and never bothers with make-up, but in SL that style is left at the log in screen and here I become a girlie, grungy living dead dolly... Today I was feeling inspired! I was out shopping, exploring the awesome Bloody Horror Fair, and I stumbled upon a helmet that made a song pop so far into my head it's been stuck there ever since! Luckily it was one of my favourite songs at the moment!!! Now I'm going to share it with you LOL...
The Hellraiser Helmet, from Goth1c0 and found exclusively at Bloody Horror Fair, was the inspiration for this look, and it was all based on a look by In This Moment's singer - Maria Brink. Their video for the song "Whore" sees her wearing a horned helmet similar to this one, and biting her fingers drawing blood! I couldn't resist paying homage to that in my own Rudhish way! I went down a similar gory, whoreish route to Rudhify but replicate her style by accessorising... Leaving my favourite new collar on from ginchi, I added the brand new "Gore Whore" Necklace from Cute Poison - which like the helmet can also be found at Bloody Horror Fair! The scribblings all over my chest are something that I had noticed a while back on the marketplace and they had never really fit any of the looks that I had been going for... The Truth Tattoo, from Corvus, is a series of words scribbled across your chest ranging from Selfish to Empty and hitting a few other harsh truths in between... I hope that no one would ever agree that I am any of those things, but I guess the person that is could be a true Hellraiser?! Just one more thing before I finish up here... Seeing as my look is loosely based on the look of Maria Brink, in a particular music video, I guess I should share it so you can see what I am talking about LOL...
It's AUTUMN!!!! I love this time of year, it's the season that Halloween calls home, but it's also one of the times of year when nature feels golden! I love that still slightly warm sun, the radiant glow of the light in the reddening trees and even love the rain! Even in SL things are heading in a much more Autumnal direction - which must be weird for people in the southern hemisphere... Must ask Jimmy - well they are, everywhere except the Gators MC Sim... HellBone wants to keep it swampy, and gator infested swamps don't have seasonal change much do they?
I did find a little corner of Autumn... Somewhere the leaves needed raking up and the dead grass could be turned into a hay bale for all the cute little animals that live near my house this winter! While I was doing that I needed something a little more comfy to wear... Thank heavens for my new shirt dress! I saw these dresses advertised at Collabor88 from Atomic, all of the designs were cute but this one with it's "No Good, Very Bad, Always Evil" Design really fitted with the way I live my SL hehe - least I try to but others might well disagree! I kept the rest of my look simple, as I was working in the garden, everything except for my hair and horns that is! The Hair and it's Horns accessory is called Neria, and it can be found at the Mystic Realms Fair in the Truth Booth. I know I've said it before sometimes Truth hair for me is take it or leave it... In the right outfit it can be perfect, but it can also look wrong... I know so many people who say Truth hair is their favourite and I will give it to you I love the textures and styles... This one was just what I wanted, and as they say sometimes you win but sometimes you lose hehe...

I know I've said this a fair few times already this month, and in the past few years but HALLOWEEN IS MY FAVOURITE HOLIDAY! I've been playing dress up like crazy so far this month, and loving every minute of it too! There are so many fun and macabre things to buy out there that this living dead dolly simply doesn't have enough time to get to them all!!! One thing that always seems to remind people of Halloween is the Black Cat. Often seen as a familiar for a witch, the black cats can be regarded as bad luck... Personally, I WANT ONE Lol!
HellBone won't let me have one, SO I made my own LOL... ME! He can't tell me no lol... The reason I decided that I wanted to be a black kitty cat, aside from the fact that Hell can't tell me no this way, was that I wanted to wear this cute hoodie hehe... The hoodie was one that I bought a while ago from AMERIE, at a past event, and I LOVE the cute ears and large hood which you can fit lots of different hair styles into! I kept the kitty theme by wearing my favourite new collar from ginchi, but I realised that I had a bit of an issue as the hoodie was so open hehe... Pulling on a noldie but classic from Crazy, I was missing just one thing! SOCKS! Unfortunately as I pulled socks up - also from AMERIE by the way - my huge claws slipped through the thin fabric... BUGGER but hey cool enough to wear right hehe...

At this time of year, with the scary season upon on, you notice people seem to really get into the holiday spirit... People who normally wouldn't dream of wearing anything but the latest fashions, are doing so in a way that now makes them look dead and evil too... AND I LOVE IT! I love seeing everyone embrace their dark side and become a little macabre, especially since in a few months time we will all be getting sparkly and Christmassified! For me personally, the macabre and slightly dead looking is a normal way of life LOL... I tend to be more dead than alive in SL, but hey that's just the way I like it... I did want to run a few tests on people though to find out who is evil and who is just pretending - there's a lot of evil wannabes out there LOL... Thanks to this machine I have the perfect tool, and every household should have one LOL...

I accessorised that with some adorable Ballast Pumps in Silver from Mute, and a gorgeous bracelet and armband from aisling, called Elyan, that can be won in a gacha at The Gathering! I've been working on some pretty macabre things lately, I guess it's the time of year and I am really not complaining, but I needed something with a little sparkle... Random I know, but hey that's just how I roll LOL... Luckily as I was browsing through events, and stuff that I had been sent to blog, I stumbled upon Candy Fair 2014... Bright colours, cuteness and sparkles filled the air, and I'm sure if we had smell-o-vision style SL then you could smell something that was akin to a sweet factory! It was just what I needed...
Luckily Iokko Molko - designer of awesomeness that is yumyums - had sent her bloggers a bumper pack of all things yumyums from the Candy Fair... There was a lot for me to choose from and boy did it help with my need for cute! I even wore pink... Don't be too shocked - Pink is evil after all - but yes Rudh in pink!! I'll tell you all about my outfit, and think I should start from the yumyums and work on from there... SO to the skin... This is the Brias skin in Sparkle Queen, there are two different skins available at Candy Fair but I have to admit this was my favourite because the colours are so bright! I'm also wearing a Frosting Crop Top, in a strawberry colour, of which there are 5 or 6 different colours available! The top says I'm "Sweet", it wouldn't lie would it? Lastly, from yumyums, if you head into the middle of the event there is a gacha garden, and hidden within one of the machines is a collection of ice creams and candy, or if you are really lucky you could win a carrier, just like the Quater Cone Queen Carrier I'm wearing! I wasn't only going to rave about the yumyums Candy Fair items though, I had two more totally adorable things to share! First being my hair! Ploom created the Lollipop Girl style, complete with lollipop accessories. I had a bit of a dilemma in choosing the colour I wanted, luckily a fairy stepped in to help me make that choice, but I couldn't walk away from the style it was just way too adorable! I also grabbed this amazing Candy Crusher giant lollipop from the BOOM gacha, because well who doesn't wanna use a giant lollipop as a weapon?! The last thing that I want to mention to you is another gacha item but from somewhere completely different hehe... I spotted the collar - a ginchi creation - in a gacha at the SLGBTA Halloween Gacha Spooktacular and well I LOVE jingle bells... I now have the colour in a myriad of colours hehe!!
