Sometimes you get new pretties and you NEED to do something with them to share them with anyone who will listen and look... That is exactly how I felt about at least three items that take pride of place in this post. Two stores that I am addicted too and a possible third that may well end up dragging me to the same dark and lonely path of addiction lol... I'm talking about Death Row Designs, Cute Poison and LODE...
Now... The picture is one of my weird, random, I-Need-To-Take-A-Picture-Of-This looks... As I opened things that I had either been sent for blogging, or bought I couldn't help but marvel at how freaking awesome they were and how cool they looked together!
Let's start with the least obvious... The facial piercing I have on here is from Cute Poison. As soon as I saw these on Flickr within Sae Luan's stream I KNEW I needed these. I feel naked without piercings, and for me personally I love the Cute Poison brand most. I'm not sure if it's the subtle look of them, the ease of fitting or the hud for modifying the piercing itself, but these things all together make the piercings very worthwhile and easy to use. This particular piercing is the Agelast Piercings that are available now at the Depraved Nation Frost Event - which by the way has SO MUCH STUFF that I want to grab, you might be lucky and see a Rudh shaped smudge as I run past hehe...
Then the fairy lights... Now I am addicted to fairy lights in RL, and when I saw this pretty sepia coloured set from LODE at The Chapter Four event, I couldn't resist, I will even admit that I bought both the sepia and the rainbow coloured sets LOL... I love the sepia set however, because you see rainbow lights like this so often and these sepia ones seem so close to that warm golden glow you get from the RL ones... I was addicted!
Then finally, the antlers... How can you possibly miss these?! These are the Anti-Xmas Rare Seasons Antlers, created by Jaimy Hancroft of Death Row Designs, for the Jewelry & Accessory Expo. They are to be found in one of the Gachas at the Gacha Pavillion... ALL of the designs of these are brilliant but, for me personally, when I won the Anti-Xmas pair I was bouncing around the room like I was on a sugar high. I LOVE these, so move over Rudolf there is a new reindeer in town hehe...

I mentioned in a previous post about an upcoming Gator MC Party to open our new bike track... WELL, it happened on Saturday and it seemed to go pretty well... This track is not just for Biker club members though, if you feel you'd like to test out a bike then this is a simple and easy test place for that.
So anyway the party kicked off with a brilliant live set from Fireheart Braver - her first solo gig in SL - she's very good, nervous but loving what she does and that meant she seemed to have a lot more confidence than she claimed. If you want to see a new singer on the SL live music set, I would definitely recommend checking her out! Then HellBone took over and started Djing...
It was a great party and for once I managed to look biker cute without wearing leather too lol - maybe just a little in my boots hehe - there is far too much leather in the MC world in SL!!!
So the look I pulled together was simple but I felt it was really cute, so I couldn't resist sharing it! A simple denim shirt - one that I am sure you can buy somewhere online but that was customised specially for me in my position as Secretary of the Gators MC - which I teamed with a really cute mini-skirt from FANATIK and my favourite Studded boots from J's. I then added this huge and kinda chunky looking necklace from Maxi Gossamer, called London Time. I love the fact that the watch in the central cog looks just like Big Ben in London when you see it up close, and this is definitely one of my favourite jewellery purchases as of late! Then finally to make it just that little bit girlier I dug out one of my new hair sets from Clawtooth, called Temptation and that is available at The Arcade right now. I'd gotten very lucky as Kenzee seemed to win a few red styles that had alluded me lol... I love it's messy curls and adorable bow!
Though OK I made the post a bit of a look of the day type affair, the reason for the party was all down to the Gators MC, so it wouldn't be fair for me not to share a little picture of the line-up of them hehe... There are a couple missing - Juli, being the most obviously missing in this picture - and the line-up wasn't something that was done on purpose lol, but hey gotta grab the family photos when you can right? So let me introduce you to the biker family I was pushed into hehe...

Tie your scarf in a pretty bow and head off, deep into the ice caves, there are lots of pretty places to explore in the caves near Santa's Grotto but remember a scarf because it's cold out there...
I dug around looking for the perfect cave exploring outfit... I wanted something pretty too as I was in a rainbowish kinda mood...
I pulled together this outfit, and although I wouldn't say it's a look of the day, it has kinda become a look of the day LOL... It started with the hooded dress from Exile that is available at The Arcade. I won it in a random colour pack and then was given another one by Kenz in reds... I did a little happy dance - gone are the days when I used to have black hair all the time lol.. I teamed the dress with some brightly coloured, leopard print, rainbow tights from Plastic Acid, which added a little vibrancy to the outfit, and then finished the look with a pair of Dirty Combat Boots from Corvus that were perfect for stomping around in the snow! BUT, there was something missing... I tried necklaces, I tried scarves, I even tried a feather boa, and suddenly as if by magic, Miss Iokko Molko of yumyums sent out these adorable Bow Knit Scarves that she has released for the Depraved Nation Frost Event... YAY IT WAS PERFECT.

I finally gave in and let HellBone have what he wanted... I give in with him too easily at times... Some people will shake their heads and tell me off for giving in, but I have and always will be someone that will do anything for a quiet life...
This time I gave in and let HellBone create something new for the Bikers, in the SL Motorcycle Community that we are part of... This time he was talking about having a road...
I gave in and let him have that road! Sigh - I am such a pushover at times! He has his road, BUT hopefully with other MC's paying us a visit and using it as a place to ride then we may at least get some of our rent on the land paid?! Least that was the plan!
So anyway, because of this, I have been allowed to throw a party - not entirely for Christmas, but there will be a festive edge to it! - and I am a busy bee once again planning the event. We have a live singer performing for her first time as a solo performer and hopefully HellBone will follow her up with some DJing... I say hopefully, you never can tell with him, it's always last minute!
However, if anyone would like to join us at our track opening / Christmas party on Saturday December 14th at 12PM SLT, then I would LOVE to see you there... Just send me an IM in world and I will drop a LM on you or even send you a taxi YAY!
Poor Berry, she is not well - and the time of the year when everyone starts getting busy preparing for family events and the like is almost upon us. I know that I will certainly be busy for a while as RL draws me out into the cold and I am expected to dress up all pretty like! Trust me that is a feat in itself LOL... Normally I avoid things like make-up like I would avoid the plague! So for a while, at least until the new year, the Monday Memes will be on a mini hiatus!
This does mean that when I get the chance to blog I am going to have to start thinking for myself again, means I have nothing to push me and I am afraid to say, it means that you will be forced to endure reading some inane ramblings for a while hehe...Though I promise I will try to have some pretties to share!
This is one of those pretties, and as much as I love the photo I am sad to say it isn´t one that I took LOL... Not sad because well I get a freaking gorgeous photo out of it, but sad in that I don´t have this level of skill to create something this beautiful.
My daughter Kenzee - our pretend bad girl, biker chick baby - was there with me recently at my sister Juli´s wedding, and while I was tearing my hair out taking pictures of the happy couple, she was taking secret ninja paparazzi photos of me!
Her photos are beautiful, I never knew I could look that gorgeous... She on the other hand seems to think otherwise, telling me "It captured the essence of you lol. Beautiful. Coy. Sweet and sassy. I like it" - which by the way is a direct quote from Kenz...
After all the not so prettiness that I have been feeling and going though these past few weeks, a picture like this, that catches me looking gorgeous just took my breath away a little... What a surprise this was!!!

Anyway, on Friday I FINALLY made it into this month's Arcade and went on a HUGE spending spree without even realizing it - as always! I ran around grabbing loads and loads, trading things as I went, and in the end my hoard was pretty awesome... No doubt I will be playing with a lot of it for a while! Though the reason for this post having the song that has been - and will no doubt be - in my head all day is due to all the cute Foxy things that I collected and decided to put on all at once lol... Nothing like a bit of overkill huh?!
So starting with the non-foxy things - of which there are not many - the hair... This is a Wasabi Pills hair that you can find in a gacha at The Arcade this month. I won it in a few colours, but the grey faded colour seemed to work well with the bright orange of the Fox hat. I dressed fairly simply in an old but still cute polka dotty top and a pair of Navy Engineer Boots from Sleepy Eddy - that you can also pick up at the Arcade. I also found this gorgeous spiked ring from Cute Poison, glittering in my hoard... The ring is a re-colour of a previous release available now for The Rack.
Then the fox starts to come into play... Starting with the skirt, which is foxy but not Arcade foxy. The skirt is one from AUX - it was a past group gift I believe, but don´t quote me on that - with it´s high waist and side zipper design it has that sexy feel but the denim keeps it feeling fun and flirty, oh and the little fox tail on the zipper is cute! Normally I wouldn't wear fur like this - in RL it is a definite no no for me! - but I just couldn't resist! I then added more fox to the look by pulling on a wooly Fox Hat from 8f8 and u.f.o´s coco animal clutch in a coral fox colour, before I finally released my newest pet from his carrying crate... This GORGEOUS little Fox neck snuggler from Birdy... All of these foxy things are available at the Arcade, but you need to play the gachas to win them - and as my mum would always say "You've gotta be in it, to win it!"

Time for a photo that showcases the random side of me LOL... I´ve been working hard on editing photos that I took for my big sister Julz and her hubby Rodder´s wedding, which took place on Saturday, but my goodness after I am done with this I don´t think I want to stare at them for a long time hehe... I needed a break, and maybe just a little bit of a snooze...
As thoughts of dream-like colours washed through my mind I began to dig around in my wardrobe and play with some of the fun clothes that were sitting stashed ready for wear. One of the plaes my eye was drawn to was the items I have waiting from the store Rachel Breaker... This has to be one of the most colourful and creative places that I can think of, and after pulling on some of the items the store really did not disappoint. The DILLY collection - the headdress and the necklace - is available now at the Jewelry & Accessory Expo, and these amazing GOO Boots are to be available from Jersey Shore, although I am not entirely sure when things will be up for grabs just yet. The colour then just kept on coming... A cute dress and leggings from Sn@tch added some colour and fun to the look and a Spiked Ring from Cute Poison added a little bit more of that Rudhish sass to the whole thing.
Then I carried on my quest of looking for somewhere to sleep... MishMish to the rescue, thanks to their gorgeous new creation for Collabor88. The Counting Sheeps are available in 5 different colours / four cute pastel colours and an even more adorable black sheep / as well as small versions you can wear as an accessory that will jump over a fence on your head do you can count them as you fall asleep... PERFECT place to fall asleep I´d say.
Only problem for me is HellBone was scripting a bike, and therefore riding it around and around on our build platform... No chance to sleep over that racket! Anyone know somewhere quiet for me?
