52WOCC2 - Week 13

I will admit, that after the uninspiring Spice Girls picture I used last week for the colour challenge I was at a dead end. I had NO IDEA what I would do for this next colour, it's like all the blogging juice that I had to create interesting ideas seems to have been used up. This run on cold colours might be the reason... It's getting to spring and I am actually wanting to see more pinks and yellows, bright spring colours, the cold blue and green tones are just reminding me of winter... weird I know but that's how I roll!! Never thought I would see the day where I said I wanted to see pink come up either!!! The world has gone mad! 

This outfit was inspired by the hair though, once I put the hair on I knew I was going to have to do something with it, and I really quite like the way that it turned out! The hair was something I rediscovered, it was a hunt prize from a Crazy Ass Hair Hunt. These hunts, there were two of them, provided me with a collection of the weirdest hair to ever be seen on a person's head, and I can tell you that the Crazy Ass Hair Hunt is BACK at the end of March... I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED!!! 

Week 13 - Tea Green

I managed to get that springtime feel into the picture, I guess the weather here at the moment is making me feel all springy... I love the flowers and I will be dragging Hell through the tulip fields here very soon... If you ever make the trip to Holland, try to come when the tulips are in flower in April/May, it is the most amazing sight to see endless fields that look like rainbow patchwork quilts.

52WOCC2 - Week 12

I'm BACKKKKKKK!!!! Back from my visit to my parents, during which I was spoilt rotten and had such a great time that I was sad about coming home! Still you need to leave to be able to appreciate things like that, and I wouldn't have been so spoilt if I had lived there permanently again, so I guess the good has to go with the bad! Hell missed me and I think Izzy seemed to have too, she won't leave me alone now lol!

Still yesterday I was having a trawl through my massive inventory looking for something that would work for this colour. I will admit that it was something of a mad panic as I didn't want to miss out on posting today - so weird am I that it has to go up on the first day LOL! I do feel guilty that I haven't commented on people's posts from last week, I will try to at some point, I saw them but my mum's PC isn't really the best. Talking of PCs I HAVE A NEW GRAPHICS CARD YAYYYYY, my computer works well again, better than before!! SO AWESOME! Thank you Daddy!

Week 12 - St.Patrick's Blue

Week 12: Ginger Spice with a Rudh Twist!

I will admit that I thought Luna had fallen off her rocker with this colour, I was thinking 'wait! Isn't St.Patrick's Day all about green?' Fledge tells me that it used to be blue, so I'll go with it lol, but as you can see I took a very patriotic route of a different country and ended up dancing round as Ginger Spice. I entered a talent show once on a school trip with some friends and we were the Spice Girls. I had to be Ginger Spice as I am a red head, but I wanted to be Scary Spice LOL I was not amused!!! 

Next week - Tea Green (very pale green!)

52WOCC2 - Week 11

What an apt colour for the month of March! This colour is a great one, and I wonder if it was planned... Aquamarine is the birthstone for March, I know that admitting I know this makes me sound like a loser but I am the daughter of a Jeweller with a Birthday in March, knowing the gemstone for the month kinda goes hand in hand with that. My mum never lets my dad forget that her birthstone is diamond, subtle hints but it comes up every year hehe, she's an April baby btw for those of you that were wondering about the diamond thing!

I seem to be getting kinda good at predicting colours too... My plane from last week is SO CLOSE to this colour LOL... Though who knows where we will end up next, Luna not included hehe...

Your Tunes - Home!

It is the first time that I have done one of these posts in a while, I have been SO BUSY with Seraphim and then not having a decent computer to play with for any long period of time, when I don't have something else to do on the decent computer, I have let these interesting posts slip. TODAY I HAVE TIME OH MY GOD hehe!!!This song was perfect for the post that I wanted to create today too, for a couple of reasons...

DEPECHE MODE - HOME

Imma was instant with her choice of song. I forget now why she chose this one as her song of choice, but it fits well with something that I have been wanting to talk about for a while now and have just never gotten around to... Shame on me I know... I just get so busy! I do it to myself and I won't ever complain, but yeah I get busy... 

The photo for this song was easy to create. I wanted to use the fact that this song was about HOME, and it fits well that I am spending time at Home and able to show off the new place in SL that I can now call Home. 

It took a while for us to get the place we moved to sorted, Remus and HellBone worked their magic and the garden was transformed into a dark swamp with a million different things to see and always something new to spot when you moved your camera. My house was set up soon after the building started but then I took my sweet ass time in decorating and I don't think that I am even ready now... I wanted to make it look like a dolls house, or more to the point, like the wendy house that I had in my RL back garden as a child where I would spend long summer days pretending to be a fairy princess who made fantastical foods out of flower petals!! I loved that house! 

Just a few more pictures of the garden itself, we may have a land warming party at some point, getting HellBone and Remus online at the same time may be a bit of a mission though but you never know it could happen hehe!!!

52WOCC2 - Week 10

Can you believe it, TEN WEEKS ALREADY... only 42 Weeks now till Christmas LOL...

So anyway, keeping it short and sweet this week. I'm still having PC trouble, I'm working my blogging butt off on Seraphim as usual by pushing Hell off his PC whenever I get the chance and I will admit that I didn't really like this colour... It was something reminiscent of the brown phase we had in the last round and I swear if the food that this colour gets it's name from looked like this I sure as heck would not be eating it! Not a fan of Avocado really anyway but MAN that colour is GROSS!!!!

52WOCC2 - Week 9

I am still struggling on a graphic glitchy PC... I am not a happy girl, although there is another side of me that is REALLY happy because in just a week or so I am going back to England for 10 AWESOME DAYS spent with my RL family. I don't get to see them very often what with now living in Holland so any time spent with them is great, and this time it is my dad's 60th birthday too so I CAN'T WAIT!!!! The countdown has started! I guess that kinda outweighs the stresses that I am facing everyday on my PC, it is beginning to drive me bonkers. I am using Hell's PC a lot when I can, when he is awake he wants to use it obviously, so I have become something of a cleaning freak in RL, giving my house a spring clean. 

However, after my crappy picture last week I wanted to do something more fitting with the usual Rudh flair... The colour had me stumped until I thought about it literally, and split the word in two lol... Getting the look together was EASYPEASY... Getting the photo, more difficult that I have ever found taking a photo, it took me a few hours to photograph this look... *grumbles about her stupid PC*

Yes that is right, I am a Dandy Lion... When I found the PJs in my inventory I knew that I would be a lion but then the thought of a dandy came to mind. A dandy is a term from the 1790s that was used to mean a man who placed particular importance upon physical appearance, refined language, and leisurely hobbies, for anyone that thought I was just rambling like normal hehe, it does have a real meaning!!

Next Week - Avocado

All I can see is Rainbows!

Thought I would share with you what my SL looks like on my PC at the moment, this happens after about 15 minutes of being logged in... I am PC juggling, using Hell's when I can and my craptop and desktop to run SL on one and do my Seraphim stuff on the net on the other... 

It would be pretty if it wasn't so damn annoying!!! 

Going to go carry on with my cleaning! Least me not having a decent PC is making my house look pretty?!
