Here comes a Pretty Witch...

As of late I've been a little dead, but there is always some hidden sparkle waiting to burst out... Sometimes I go rainbow Rudh, others it's Kawaii Rudh, but this time it's Pretty Rudh and I just couldn't hold it in any longer!
For my Birthday recently, my MC family took me exploring... We went to a sim called The Grand Duchy of Picklemoon, and if you haven't heard of it then you REALLY should go check it out! It was like being in my head! There is a haunted house that could actually be my brain!! Not to mention all the other areas that would make fantastic photo shoot locations. No doubt I will be going back again and again to find the best backdrops for my crazy photos!
I decided to use the location for the newest photo of Pretty Witch Rudh. After all, there is nothing better that the pretty witch likes to do than take a walk around a pretty location!!!

The pretty witch look that I pulled together started at a little shopping event called The Kawaii Project, you may well have heard of it!
It was there that I found this pretty - but so not my usual style - outfit from {amiable} called Daisy. Although the outfit comes in a variety of different colours, I went with the simple black colour to really make the daisies pop out! I dressed it with a pair of the gorgeous Kawaii Project Wingtip pumps that were a release from uber Kawaii store Katat0nik and then dug out a pretty witch hat that comes attached to the Olive Wicked Hair...
There was just one last thing... What should I have as my Witches Familiar... I couldn't choose lol I had two in mind... SO I went with both because I am greedy like that... I have two three-eyed Pixicat kittens - that I am in love with - and an adorable Spid-eek Pet Spider from SilentSparrow. I normally would never be anywhere near a spider but how can you look at my little pet and tell me he's not as adorable - if not more so - than my kittens?

The Death Cart is Leaving...

The Horror Haute Death Cart is about to roll out... Today is the last day that you can get your hands on the Plague infested wears and I will excitedly tell you that this month has been one of my favourites. It has been brilliant for a Living Dead Dolly like myself. However the Death Cart rolls out today, taking the plague victim collector along with it... Yes the plague was so bad, this body collector died too...

*dimma* has created some awesome grieving poses for this month's Horror Haute line-up - you can see one in the close up photo below - but the Death Cart Pose Prop is by far my favourite pose of the month. Either Pull, mourn or act like the dead, this cart has all the poses a Plague Body collector might need!
Now, as a Death Collector I needed to make sure that I was dressed the part... I had to look professional! I called in The Untitled, and they created this brilliant Death Collector Outfit, complete with jacket, trousers and bowler hat! As a final accessory, I added the cute Black Death Necklace from ImmateriA, which by the way has a cute matching ring available too!
Then bad things started to happen... My skin became pale as the Plague settled into my body - thanks to Reboot for that - my eyes, although always a pretty shade of green, became deranged and diseased looking - curtesy of Laudanum Lollipops - and then right before my eyes the Symptomatic nature of the Plague took control of my body... My fingers started to die right before my eyes, and the last thing I remember before I fell into my Death Cart was the call of a SongBird!

Spring is in the Air, Couples pop up everywhere....

So it seems that Spring is in the air, that feeling of romance is taking a hold and couples are springing up everywhere LOL... It's not just me that has mentioned the Spring Thing... My sister Solde mentioned that her maternity collection is suddenly seeing a lot of attention too!
Still, I have been surrounded by new couples this week... It's like I cannot move without getting in the way of their soppy, cuteness... Not that it's a bad thing, but both HellBone and I have reached for a sick bucket in the last couple of days LOL...
It does however promote a prime opportunity for me to both practice my photo skills, whilst showing off some of the new poses from Signature Pose... Just have to hope that the crazy looking Photo Bomber doesn't get in the way of the shots?!

Tila and Mongo were spotted sneaking off into the bushes together LOL, and she really doesn't look pleased that I spotted them... I decided that it was better to keep my head down and let them gaze "Into the Sunset" together...

I jumped on my noble steed and rode away from the TilaMongo Tryst heading on down the road... Well hello what is this that I spied in one corner... My adopted Mum - long story and it may come out later lol - KaraD and her new man-shaped play thing, LittleOutlaw. Of course, me being a little brat I had to get in the way of their posing for a photograph, mum was all "Hold me Close" and I was like BLEHHHHHHHHH... Oh well Hi-Ho Silver, AWAY!!!

I went in search of people that weren't going to be soppy new couples... AH HA, my little brother Athrun I thought... When I found him, he and his lady Shery were having a bit of a romantic reunion of their own, something like "One Night in Paris" perhaps?... Dammit... LUCKILY there was a handy Frozen cardboard box close-by that I could just curl up in, until the sickly sweetness stopped and I could sneak away...
But what was I going to do with myself... All of my usual people to annoy were busy doing couples things... THEN I REMEMBERED MAY OLD KITE!!!

I was being good, just minding my own business of kite flying, when it dragged me across the sim... There have been some very strong wings blowing across the Netherlands in the past few days! It wasn't my fault... But OH BUGGER! I accidentally got caught in a very special moment for my big sister Solde and big brother Chopper - OK yes I know it sounds weird but it's Biker family, not incest LOL - and well Oh crap I'm in big trouble now...
I hid in the clubhouse and waited to be told off by the disgruntled couples LOL... Solde passed me a sick bucket and that was luckily all the telling off I got... PHEW... I dodged a bullet on that one...

BTW... Tila and Mongo are not a couple! They were two bodies that were hanging around at the time of the photo session. Tila is another of my Biker sisters and Mongo happens to be a stalker from the DDMC lol... Both did make awesome models however!
OH AND Solde and Chopper are not getting engaged, although she did try to cause a bit of a stir on facebook with the photo... At least not yet anyway, who knows what the future holds!

Bring Out Your Dead for Horror Haute

BRING OUT YOUR DEAD... BRING OUT YOUR DEAD... The calls of the death cart mean can be heard as the rickety old wooden carts are trundled through the streets, creaking and groaning under the weight of the pile of bodies their carts now contain. The streets are infested with rats, now the cats are all dead. The stench unbearable... Yet those brave men in their Plague Masks and robes trundled through the streets collecting the diseased bodies... 
They missed one though... A crazed scientist kept a pretty - if you could call her that as she was covered in plague sores - young lady in his laboratory. Keeping her alive on a diet of fresh type O blood, she was to be his greatest experiment... He was to find a cure for the plague! 

Horror Haute is back with a monthly dose of the macabre... YAY! I have to say that looking at all the goodies available this is one of those months that really got me excited! Zombie Me was tickled pink by having a lot of new things to play with, skins, eyes and all those other things that a dead girl needs! 
First of all though let me tell you about the location... It was so much fun to wander around the Channel Island Asylum, it seems well put together and the place has a strange sense of eeriness considering it doesn't feel too deadly until you wander further in hehe... Be aware of the things in the dark corners!!! 
I have two Horror Haute-y - yes I know it's not a word - items to show you for now, there is a LOT more plague to come but for now just two pretty things... Firstly and possibly the most obvious thing is the AMAZING skin and eye set from Stargazer Creations. The skin comes in 3 different tones, each with or without the infected look, and the eyes can either be normal - I mean normal for a Plague Victim - or infected too... 
The other thing I wanted to share here was this Necklace and Ring set from ImmateriA called Ashes. At first glance the brilliant orange stone is just like any other jewel... Until you look closer....

My last outing as a Photographer/ModeL

For the last three months, my fab designer sister - Solde Rothmanay - has asked such an amazing favour of me I have been a little flabbergasted to be honest. She had ads within a widely read SL modelling magazine called ModeLS - check out page 65, THAT's ME!!! LOL - and she had asked if I'd like to do the pictures for her! 
When am I ever going to have an opportunity like that again? So I said yes! The first month was a look fit for a shopping Diva, the second an anti-Valentine, and now...

This dress cried out for a bit of a hippy look... So flowers in my hair, flowers everywhere - check out Wanderstill, Ode if you don't know it! - and a bright, fun, summery dress to call in the warmer season in a gorgeous yellow colour... The dress is gorgeous, not a brand new release any more - though it was when the photo was being taken - the Soul Designs Marsh Retro Dress comes in a selection of different colours, but each has that summertime feeling! 
Just a side note, this is possibly the last time you will see me, human and unscarred for a while LOL... I feel so naked in this photo and I am fully dressed... Weird how that works huh?!

The things in my head Monday Meme...

I feel in the mood to work on a Berry Meme this week... It's been a while since I did one but as she always says we can pick and choose and do what we have time for... Well, I'd pulled together a pretty photo but had no idea what to write to go with it... THEN Berry put up a Meme this week that I really liked the idea of... Answering questions with the first thing that comes into our heads lol... THIS SHOULD BE ENTERTAINING lol... 

Told you the picture was pretty lol... I am liking the pictures that I have been creating recently, I just seem to be getting a little better and this was no exception to that... Perhaps a little more girlie than you might be used to seeing me, but hey sometimes you have to step outside the box right?! I stepped outside the box - my photo box that is - and wandered around Hazardous to get this shot, but let's get on with answering Berries statement questions...

The City of Cartius

Gor is something that I have absolutely no interest in...I never have and never will, although I have dabbled in the BDSM lifestyle in SL, I just find that the rumours floating around about the Gorean community paint a pretty bad picture of things and I would rather steer clear. That having been said, there are rumours about every social RP style in SL I know - there are a million around the Biker Community, and I shouldn't tarnish everything with the same brush but there are other reasons why Gor isn't a place I'd chose to hang out too...
HOWEVER, I will say that sometimes Gorean based creations, be they clothing, decor or even locations can be pretty! So when I was offered the chance to get into a brand new Gor RP sim early, I knew I couldn't turn down the chance.

I pulled on a pretty dress, and boldly went exploring around the new build... Parts of it were still being built, but once it is finished and fully decorated I am sure the place will look intricate and enchanting as it was already promising to be.
Set in what appears to be somewhere between a medieval and a fantasy town, the large towers dominate the landscape. With it's port, jail and other open spaces, this place will I'm sure be filled with role players before long, and I really do hope that it becomes large and popular Gorean community.
I enjoyed wandering around so much, I spent a good few hours checking out the nooks and crannies of the "City of Cartius", taking pictures which I've shared in a collage below, I will admit that it did give me a bit of a craving to at least give Gor a try... Perhaps? Then again maybe not? But never say no right? LOL... Well OK No I doubt it will happen... But it was so pretty!!!

I also found myself thinking about Gorean fashion... I COULD NEVER DRESS LIKE A SLAVE GIRL lol but some of the other styles can be very pretty! 
I know I am not looking 100% true to the Gorean style for women here, but I couldn't resist this dress from FDD called Selena. At the time I found it I was wandering like a lost soul, shopping at Totally Top Shelf, when it caught my eye from the other side of the room! It was perfect for the somewhat eleven, somewhat historical, mystery girl in a Gor sim look I had running through my mind. 

I will find out today if Cartius is open to the public yet, I will ask around hehe... But if you love Gor, you should get your little RPing butts over to this sim... It is well built, very pretty and there are lots of places that you could get lost while roleplaying for hours here...

A Consignment of Psycho Snatch!

Once a year at the arrival of spring, an eerie silence falls over the hidden mountain swamps of Cadair Idris. From somewhere deep within the sound of carnival music rolls through the air, looping repeatedly, trying to seduce people to come and see the bright colours and funtastic rides of the fair... The birds do not sing when the carnival calls people in, and even the roar of the loudest motorbike is drowned out by the music that takes control of your mind...
The Gator Hell Carnival was once a glowing beacon in the spring sunshine... The air was filled with the scent of candyfloss, the lights shimmered in the early evening gloom and the sound of laughter rolled over the hills... Now - for most of the year - all you hear is the sound of the carnival decaying.
Although every year at about this time another strange thing happens... A sad lonely girl is seen wandering the carnival, her vintage trailer parked by the fence. She never speaks, only cries, words that call out to her "love"...

*coughs*
Sometimes I tend to get a bit carried away when setting up a post don't I?! While working on this photo I definitely felt inspired to do something... I couldn't really resist making up a story in my head hehe...
The Carnival used in the display is one that I have mentioned before. It is the EL Carnival from DRD that you can collect for yourself at this month's still on-going round of The Arcade. Also from The Arcade are a few of the things I used which originate in the brand Consignment... Things I used here such as the caravan, lawn chairs, cooler, radio and flamingo are all part of Consignment's Open Road Collection - while other non-Arcade Consignment goodies like the trellis and the fire pit can be found at this month's Collabor88! I'm also wearing one of the hair releases from Clawtooth, that you can pick up at The Arcade. This style is called La Bella Donna, and I'm wearing a colour from the Outrageous pack and each of the roses can be individually re-coloured via a hud!!
The idea of the roses though was actually sparked by two other items I'm wearing here that I realised would be SUPER CUTE together. The dress is a Sn@tch original! Called Rosa Club Dress, when you buy this pretty dress you get it in a range of colours - each in the standard mesh sizes. I spent some time 'umming and awwing' over the dress... It wasn't my usual taste at all, I never normally wear floral, especially roses, but then I found the PSYCHO:Byts Flowers Sunglasses at Suicide Dollz and knew they'd be perfect... As luck would have it I won black first try, the outfit was meant to be hehe...
The Look was meant to be, she is all pretty waiting for her long lost love... I wonder if he will ever come to find her?

Calling all the Monsters, the Cotton Candy Monsters...

Calling all the Monsters, the Cotton Candy Monsters... Have you heard about a little store that is made just with you in mind?? I mean, I've discussed the store before... Sharing their monsterous designs with you, but it's now time to throw them in your face once again and pull you all along with me to the cottonCANDYmonsteR store!!!
Recently there have been a fair few releases from CCM... Pretty, cute, kawaii stuff with a monstrous edge, that perfectly sums up Rudh mentality half the time!! The other half of the time I'm pretending to be a Zombie Biker Chick LOL...
Two of the releases really caught my attention, I wore them since I received them and before too long I realised I'd been lazy and not shared the look with you...

The Upper Half of this look is all about the CCM, but I do just want a quick fly by mention of these new black versions od the Daisy Bell Bottom Jeans from Soul Designs. Solde says they are not an official release yet, but I LOVE the shape of these jeans so don't miss them when  they do appear!
Anyway back onto the cottonCANDYmonsteR stuffs!!! There are two things that need to be shared here, besides the gorgeous entrance into CCM itself of course...
Normally I would NEVER be seen as a blonde, but the My Little Pony Hair releases from CCM are all showing roots in this colour, I had no choice hehe... Their long length covers a multitude of sins, while the candy coloured dip dyes give them that hippy summer girl look that I cannot get enough of at this time of year!
The other item is MUCH more like something I'd normally grab in a store... The Puff Monster Hoodie in its Punky TokiDoki print is super cute! It comes in 5 different designs, but I loved the black and white one most, possibly because it makes the eyes and spines of this monster hoodie seem so much more obvious!!!
Just to warn you, the hair does NOT actually fit with the hoodie, I had to be naughty and Photoshop the back, but it's so cute such a LONG pretty style!
If you haven't checked out cottonCANDYmonsteR yet, and you claim to be someone who loves cute kawaii monsters then you are missing out... DON'T DELAY!!!

Arcane Foolish Royalty

The Tarot are a historical set of playing cards, that once upon a time formed the basis of many card games which later twisted towards uses of a more interesting nature... The occultists and mystics later started using them for divination purposes. 
These cards, just like any normal playing cards can vary from plain and simple to stunning artworks, and so it excites me to talk to you about a new event that opened up called "Create Your Own Tarot"  - CYOT for short - with the first Tarot card needing a SL artistic interjection being The Fool! 
I was super excited to hear that a collaboration - of sorts - had taken place between two brilliant fantasy creators... Naenia Demina - of ImmateriA - and Aggie Mactavish - of Stargazer Creations - have items that blend so well together, you'd think they came from the same mind hehe... 

The Arcane Fool outfit created by Naenia, comes in 5 different colour sets and each includes not only the dress and the ruffle, but also SHOES, a jester hat and a sceptre. As you can see though I took a little more of a regal route than perhaps I should... LOL... I am definitely more along the lines of Marie Antoinette or something here, but that is most likely the fault of the crazy ass hair I chose to wear with this look LOL... 
The hair is a very old freebie - that may have been a hunt prize - from Entropy Designs. I am not sure if this is still even available, but it was the catalyst as to why I needed to be in a harbour of the Renaissance Island that I had chosen as my backdrop! 
There was one last thing that needed to make the outfit complete, and I mentioned before, the brilliant matching make-up from Stargazer Creations... The Fool's Maquillage comes in tones that match the ImmateriA dresses, and it gives a subtle hint of things being a little more the fool than just a bare face would... 
Such a perfect team, I cannot wait to see these two working together again!!!

Spring starts with a Solar Eclipse

The calm comes after the storm... Yesterday was a whirlwind of a day... My Birthday was filled with RL visitors, more than a little exciting trips out to Birthday Surprises and a failed attempt at a SL Birthday Party - lol the planner was stuck in RL and no one else knew what was going on hehe...
So today little old me decided it was time to take the weight off my feet, to curl up somewhere cosy, and wait for the Solar Eclipse that is supposed to be happening today at about 9.30ish - in my RL time zone. Not that I will get to see it, because it's cloudy as all hell in RL, but I might go try to see if I can see anything... You never know!
In SL the skies are always clear - if you want them to be of course - so I found the perfect place to park my butt, look to the sky as the Lunar Eclipse was taking place and enjoy the first "official" day of Spring!

The spot I found was on the Gators MC Sim... Home in other words... Although it was missing something. Then a Consignment Package fell from the sky, as if by magic - or perhaps a passing bluebird hehe. Mr Haller has created this AMAZING set called Bluebird for this month's Collabor88. It features pieces like the star shaped firepit, the trellis complete with ivy and lights and the adorable Bluebird Caravan! This set is brilliant, you can use it with or without the ivy, and the lights turn on and off, the soft furnishings can all be changed to fit your personal colour taste and the poses make for a really relaxing feeling. I cannot gush about this set enough, I LOVE IT!!
I'm also pretty fond of this outfit, and I will admit that it was one that I had no idea where it was going when I started getting dressed, but I am glad that it turned out to be so cute!
The pants are a past event release from Sn@tch - possibly Wednesday something or other? I'm not entirely sure anymore LOL - but they are Circus Jeans in such bright contrasting colours that I was drawn to them. I had no idea what I would wear with them, all I knew was that I needed to have them LOL... I kept the rest of the outfit fairly neutral with a Chambers Shirt from Razor and a pair of comfy stomper boots from A&Y called Deuz. The necklace metal colour matches perfectly, and was such a pretty gift from a friend, that had come from the BananaN gacha, I couldn't resist wearing it.
The other thing that needs to be discussed, that I am loving, is the new Spellbound hair called Sweetsleep. Gotta love Spellbound hair, I'm glad to see a new style from her after so long...
Isn't relaxing lovely?! I missed the eclipse, but the weather was bad, still at least I have a new place to chillax and something pretty to wear right?!
