Busiest of Busy housewife style days today... Since I lost my job I've been a lot more of the house wife than ever before really, and although some days I find it kinda grates on my nerves, today I'm actually enjoying myself. I've been pottering around doing little chores and taking copious amounts of tea breaks in the garden which is nice and sunny. My pets are enjoy it too... My chickens are pleased to have someone to talk to, while my dog thinks that I've become her own personal ball throwing machine!
I've done enough laundry today, so much so it feels like I'm opening my own launderette! It's all hanging to dry in my little yard, making it feel like I could get lost in the rows of laundry! So now I think it's time for a little break and perhaps, if I'm good, a little lunch?!
Not that Rudh minds, I mean her life is just one big shopping, partying and modelling trip, if you can ignore the hard work that she puts in to the MC of course. So maybe she deserves a little lunch too... Something yummy like a Mini Heart Pizza from dust bunny, with a cold glass of fresh Lemonade from the 8f8 Green Grocers. She too has been doing some laundry, only difference between her and I is that she looks glam while she does it.

People make me so frustrated at times...
In SL it seems to be worse than in RL, with people having a huge ego and hiding behind their perfectly formed pixels. I have never understood, and no doubt never will understand, the phenomena that is turning your brain to ass-hole mode as the login screen appears and then allowing yourself to treat strangers like they are dirt, just because you cannot see them. I don't care who you are, if you're a SLebrity or not - which is a term I use in a joking manner by the way - if you're someone with a high position or not, or if you're just a regular joe hanging out doing your thing, it doesn't matter who you are, being a rude person is still making you seem like a child! Would you be rude to a stranger you met in the street in RL? Perhaps you would and sure I believe in being honest, but there are ways to be honest without slapping someone in the face right?!
A conversation this morning has gotten me a little feisty, I'm sorry... Maybe I should bring out a new side of myself... The Viking Warrior woman is ready for a fight hehe...
The Viking Warrior in me came about because of the latest releases from (Poisoned Diamond), I mean perhaps she'd always been in there - I do have a love of Vikingesque men - but maybe this was a good push to bring her out, especially once she'd had a chance to explore places like Tyr's Fist Stronghold.
As I mentioned though, the idea for the picture came from not one but two new releases from (Poisoned Diamond)... For Totally Top Shelf this month the Viking Kit has been released... This includes the Helmet - in red or blue - the Shield - also in red or blue - and the Axe. I accessorised this look with the second (Poisoned Diamond) release which will be available at BodyFy soon, that is the Hips Cage! It looked great with the Zenith breastplate in chocolate...
One last rant though, People need to start remembering that SL is about fun... OK some people can make good money in the game and use it as a business, but not everyone can be a RL graphic designer... Just because someone is making things - be they physical objects or pictorial art - and you think they aren't up to your high standards, I'd like you to remember... If ONE person likes it, then someone else will, and who are you to judge that?! At the end of the day you're the same as any one else that logs in to SL, you just have an attitude of importance and sometimes that makes you seem like a bit of an asshat... Just sayin'!

I get so bored sometimes when it comes to taking pictures of myself that I find it so much fun to take pictures of other people. I work as a blogger for Come Soon Poses, and they make and share so many awesome poses that sometimes I get sick of looking at myself LOL... SO I think I will be making more effort to try and take pictures of other people posing for a while!
One of the poses that I have been sent for Come Soon recently, is a brilliant one that will be available at the latest round of Totally Top Shelf, it was perfect for one of my biker sisters... Tila!

A fashionista that rocks a biker style, Tila knows what she loves and what suits her. Normally addicted to black, she recently shocked us all by wearing colours hehe - we joke and say the apocalypse is coming any time she isn't wearing black hehe... But this pose really looks like it was made for her!

I've been on a bit of a blogging roll today, and I'm feeling like going for a posting hat-trick with something simple but pretty... This could even become a new profile photo for me as it really sums up my love of pretty and macabre all in one close up portrait of my vain self!
It's a simple photo and I have played with the lighting a little but the super pale skin is one of the Rigor Mortis Skins from Stargazer Creations. I then decided on some pretty dead eyes that are some of my all time favourite dead eyes from The Skinnery, and bright red lips... The red wasn't working for me until I decided to smear it all over my cheek, accidentally slicing my face open with a ring as I did so... You too can get this look from anitelle, just bare in mind that a smile like this HURTS!
As a final touch and a nod to my macabre dead girl side, I had fallen into a weird love - as only a girl can with her new accessories. This Hair Flower Accessory is a fairly new release from DirtyStories for Totally Top Shelf. It wasn't too badly priced, but wasn't cheap either, I didn't care though I HAD to have it!!
There is no fancy story, there is no frilliness with this post, what you see is what you get and I really like what I've got hehe...

Some people think that Sundays are a holy day, others look on it as a day to prepare for the coming week, I personally - and I'm not ashamed to admit it - feel like Sundays are a great day to be lazy! I always have so much to do on a Saturday... Groceries, cleaning, visiting my mother-in-law, all those tediously mundane must-do things, so when Sunday comes around I love nothing more than taking the day off - going on strike if you will - and lazing around for some me time!
Me time will ALWAYS involve some time spent playing dress-up and making photos in SL... My addiction must be fed, and well it's a great way to relax...
This amazing outfit is one of those things I wanted to play dress up in this weekend... It's an ImmateriA release - one of two that got my dress-up urges kicked up a gear - and the Aiko gown in this gorgeous creme colour took me back to the perfect photography location of Origami. It was here that the somewhat Oriental Priestess could step into her true role...
The Halo she wears is part of her priestesses garb... Her lotus shaped dress showing her status, but the hair... Well that is something totally unpriestess like - a sign of her love of all things modern culture! Her hair in it's two toned INK style, shows that this priestess really has her finger on the pulse of modern culture...

It's time for a little colour... Something to brighten up the days after the celebrations are dying down from the recent National Holiday that passed in Holland to make the anniversary of Liberation from WWII... I felt a need to do something bright to celebrate... Somehow that brightness ended up being a sparkly Demon...
Not that there is anything wrong with that of course... Why shouldn't Demons be bright and sparkly... In fact the creation of Magic could be any colour, right?!
This is one of those good Demons - if they ever did exist - casting colourful magic as a Demonic Priestess... Originally when I put the outfit together she was far from the good - almost Disneyfied - Demon you see here... I had planned that she would be dark, evil, deadly, but sometimes things don't work out as planned and you get RAINBOWS hehe...
The Skin and Horns were the basis of this look, straight from the mind of Aggie - possibly why it became a rainbow look - and the store that is Stargazer Creations, the Diabolica Demoness Avatar comes with a lot more than you can see here... 4 different skin variations - each with or without that blood veiny look - Hair, Hooves and even Wings complete the set, so it is totally worth heading to Totally Top Shelf for, but you know me I love to mix and match...
SO when I stumbled upon some of the Runic items in my hoard I knew I would be making a look to go with this Demoness using them... I had an old but still much loved head dress from [TfAtN] that had been stashed away which I was lucky to be able to team with something newer and something brand new from Paper Moon. The first I remembered was the Runic Necklace which had been a past event release, but what I had to wear to go with that was just PERFECT!
The Runic Cult Sacrifice is part of a set of items released just for The Fantasy Faire this year, and as well as being available in gold or silver, you can get different parts - poses are available too - to make complete scenes. I wore the sacrifice outfit but there is also a priest and priestess version too...
All it takes is a set of runes, a demonic aura and it's time to start cooking up a little magic...

Gor is something that I have absolutely no interest in...I never have and never will, although I have dabbled in the BDSM lifestyle in SL, I just find that the rumours floating around about the Gorean community paint a pretty bad picture of things and I would rather steer clear. That having been said, there are rumours about every social RP style in SL I know - there are a million around the Biker Community, and I shouldn't tarnish everything with the same brush but there are other reasons why Gor isn't a place I'd chose to hang out too...
HOWEVER, I will say that sometimes Gorean based creations, be they clothing, decor or even locations can be pretty! So when I was offered the chance to get into a brand new Gor RP sim early, I knew I couldn't turn down the chance.
I pulled on a pretty dress, and boldly went exploring around the new build... Parts of it were still being built, but once it is finished and fully decorated I am sure the place will look intricate and enchanting as it was already promising to be.
Set in what appears to be somewhere between a medieval and a fantasy town, the large towers dominate the landscape. With it's port, jail and other open spaces, this place will I'm sure be filled with role players before long, and I really do hope that it becomes large and popular Gorean community.
I enjoyed wandering around so much, I spent a good few hours checking out the nooks and crannies of the "City of Cartius", taking pictures which I've shared in a collage below, I will admit that it did give me a bit of a craving to at least give Gor a try... Perhaps? Then again maybe not? But never say no right? LOL... Well OK No I doubt it will happen... But it was so pretty!!!
I also found myself thinking about Gorean fashion... I COULD NEVER DRESS LIKE A SLAVE GIRL lol but some of the other styles can be very pretty!
I know I am not looking 100% true to the Gorean style for women here, but I couldn't resist this dress from FDD called Selena. At the time I found it I was wandering like a lost soul, shopping at Totally Top Shelf, when it caught my eye from the other side of the room! It was perfect for the somewhat eleven, somewhat historical, mystery girl in a Gor sim look I had running through my mind.
I will find out today if Cartius is open to the public yet, I will ask around hehe... But if you love Gor, you should get your little RPing butts over to this sim... It is well built, very pretty and there are lots of places that you could get lost while roleplaying for hours here...

Tis that time again, The Witching Hour is upon us and we are ready to fill SL with a collection of the perfect goodies for those with the Witchy need! This round as always will run from the 13th - which this month just happened to be a Friday for the second month in a row - and will last a week... So it was the perfect excuse for a little Orc girl to come above ground and go shopping... After all who doesn't LOVE shopping!!!
The Little Orc Girl has a strange skin tone for her race - a Foxy Fem colouring of the [Stargazer] race - her fiery eyes burning as she appears in the daylight. Her Spydra Horns - from The Stringer Mausoleum for this month's Witching Hour - and the Grave Keeper Satyr Horns - from BLD also at the Witching Hour begin to glisten in the morning light. The bone necklace around her neck was her only adornment on her scantily clad body. until she was done shopping.
Shopping for gifts for her family and friends, her eyes caught sight of a beautiful necklace - and matching earrings - the Angolan Witch Spider Necklace from the ImmateriA store. She couldn't resist the stunning spider webs that had been frozen in time, complete with it's inhabitant, and turned into jewellery for the discerning Orc!

A dark power has taken over the land of Cadair Idris... The carnival that was once there has now been destroyed by an evil sorceress that moved in and claimed the land for her own. No one goes to the Carnival but if you're feeling brave and want to try the biggest thrill experience ever... Maybe you should try running from this evil sorceress!!!
The carnival itself is to be the new Zombie Shooting area at the Gators MC home on Cadair Idris... Anyone is welcome to come and kick zombie butt at the carnival - if you don't mind running from the dark Sorceress that is - but all of these Carnival parts are available from Death Row Designs at The Arcade! I will warn you now that Hell had a little trouble getting his hands on the Ferris Wheel and the Dodgem area, but the whole set is just simply gorgeous and matching the usual DRD standards!
The dress and snake choker is a set called Tanith - in a Carbunculus colour this time - from ImmateriA for the latest round of Totally Top Shelf... Now I know that I am a little biased as I am lucky to be able to call Naenia, the ImmateriA first lady, my friend but this dress although not my usual style is GORGEOUS. The colours, the texturing and the creative design really catch the imagination and could be used in all different kinds of ways!
You don't have to be a dark sorceress to rock this dress but it sure helps hehe!!

A challenge was issued... Well OK maybe not so much of a challenge but a certain designer - *coughs* Aggie MacTavish *coughs* - thought that she would be challenging me by creating some of the brightest and prettiest rainbow coloured skins and eyes for the recent line up of Totally Top Shelf...
Time for me to prove that I'm not allergic to colours LOL... While I'm doing that, I dug through some of the releases that I had received from this month's line-up of The Witching Hour... It just all fell together so well I did a happy dance and thought "that will show her" LOL...
Let's start by talking about the items that Miss MacTavish sent from her Totally Top Shelf release. For those of you that don't know, Aggie MacTavish is the owner of [Stargazer Creations], and for the event she has created a series of gorgeous, rainbow coloured skins - called Ethereal Elementals - with mystical markings all over the body. However, it is not just pretty skins that you can get your grubby little mits on, OH NO... You can also find these amazing Space Eyes, which come in matching jewel tones for the skins!!!
The hair I wore with it is a special colour of the newest release from Exile, called Windsong, which is available at Collabor88 for the Unicorn Dreams line up!
The other accessories are brand new and rather gorgeous releases for The Witching Hour...
The Dru Necklace or Earrings come in sets, available in the Gacha machine from Cyrious. They come in sets of two colours per prize, and each include 4 different metal colours!
To go with this mystical look I had one last finishing touch, the new piercings from ImmateriA are Secret Charms... Each of the Septum piercings are prefect for bringing luck for different things... I've been feeling very low lately, so I chose Rebirth... I hope it helps!
From now on I'll let the spirits guide me, if they look as pretty as this then I would follow them anywhere lol... Aren't I modest?!
But, I have just one last thing to say... HAHAHAHAHAHA I wore a bright skin and I didn't faint Aggie LOL... Gotta try better than that to beat me missus!!! *hugs*

Sometimes playing in the snow is fun, but I've always been a bit scared about falling over in RL... In SL that isn't too much of a problem LOL! Plus no matter what you wear, you don't feel cold or catch hypothermia or frostbite! SO I wrapped up warm, well mostly anyway if you ignore the fact that I didn't put tights on, and went out to play in the snow!
It's weird, I seem to have done another one of those "look of the day"type thingies, but I'm telling you now it's a calm before the storm because the horror is coming!!! Horror Festive has started, The Witching Hour is also under way, and I am buried up to my neck in a huge heap of macabre goodness that will be coming your way very soon...
