Black, White and Sin City Style

I've been what my sister called a "Moaning Myrtle" for too long - I think that's a Harry Potter reference by the way, I'm not sure but maybe someone can tell me - and I need to find some inner strength to dust myself off and move forwards... 
So I'm moving on, I'm going to start doing happy things again and I'm going to love every minute of it... Starting with today's blog post and pretty picture... I have to admit I got a little creative! 

I wanted to do something blank and white, I have a project coming for a friend in SL and she wanted black and white shots so I needed a little practice, this was the result of my practice, and I have to admit that I am pretty pleased with what I came up with! 
Shot at Hazardous, I was wearing this awesome Riot Dress from Razor - available at the current round of Suicide Dollz - with the super fluffy CURELESS Cheshire's Shawl in black - this by the way is a Gacha item available at this month's Arcade just so you know! 
The picture in black and white looked great but I wanted to do something extra that would make it pop... Then I thought about the bright red lips on the Hobi Chokers from random.Matter - available at The Chapter Four for March - and my bright red lipstick to match... With my Red hair it all just seemed like a great idea to "Sin City" up the picture, and well, as you can tell I am very happy with the result! A little glamour but also a little pop! 
Maybe Rudh is finally getting her groove back?

Precariously shooting my Shoes!

I feel like I'm hanging over the edge of a cliff right now...
Not in the way that I have been in recent months - at least the black hole at the bottom seems further away with a few ledges I can cling onto before I get that far - yet there are some crazy situations going on around me - in RL rather than SL this time - and its beginning to feel like I'll either need to jump or be pushed... In RL, everyone that I work with seems to be leaving, and it leads me to think that they are deserting a sinking ship, one that is trying to cut every corner besides getting rid of the actual problems!
While all this has been going on around me I wanted to take a photo in SL to represent that feeling... Luckily I had another reason too... It seemed like a great way to show off a new pair of shoes, and THAT was a greatly needed distraction!

I was sent some new shoes from the upcoming event that will be Dreams Gacha - yes another new gacha event that should be shaking things up a little - and I haven't posted a landmark to the event yet as we still have to wait 2 days before we can enter the event itself. The shoes will be released in a set of different colours for the gacha machine entry by Petite Mort, and each colour will come with silver and gold studs!
I wanted to do something to show off these cute shoes and share my emotions, so I went for a walk, looking for inspiration at one of my favourite photography locations - Hazardous. It was here that I found my precarious spot to sit a while, and take the kind of photo that I love to take in RL... I always take a picture of my feet wherever I go on vacation... Sounds weird but it was a habit started by my mum and it became a bit of a family joke, so mum this is my SL picture for you hehe... 
Just as a side note, the cliffs at Hazardous are beautiful, but they did not have the perfect cliff edge so I was naughty and made one myself hehe... I hope it doesn't get me in trouble!!!

Heading Where It's Hazardous...

I've been so wrapped up in the drama that surrounds me lately, yet when I take a look at the bigger picture, it seems like meaningless drivel compared to what happened in Paris recently. I know that it's hardly comparable - my drama is personal and the Paris attacks were miles away - but being a European and living in a place where the country boarders are open is a little scary. I'm not suggesting that it would happen in Holland, but you can never tell, and it seemed far too easy for an attack like that to be organised! It's also not something that I can deal with, there is nothing that I can do about it and so I have to just get on with life... Thus I am left to deal with my own personal drama instead... Whoop-di-fricken-doo... I hate confrontation, and now I have to handle something with a very argumentative person. I am REALLY not looking forward to this...

So for now I am enjoying the calm before the storm, the peace before the war and I guess you could say the sanctity of my own mind before all Hell breaks loose! I'm not sure I will ever be ready for this, but today is the day I start to open my mind to the person causing the drama... Hold onto your hat Rudh Dolly, it's going to be a bumpy ride!!
I decided to take a walk to clear my head, and found that the blustery location of Hazardous is always good to clear the mind.
I picked up my friendly Ferret - a MishMish original for this month's Collabor88 - and put his warm little sweater on him before I headed out for my walk. It shows just how much my mind was distracted though, I mean the outfit from N-Uno - available now at Cosmopolitan - looks cute but it's not exactly warm hehe. Luckily a new friend of mine, Mr. Owl, caught up with me to bring me a lovely warm scarf - a lovely warm Moon Amore Cureless Scarf!
The photo that came out seems to reflect the way I feel... A little gloomy, and somewhat pessimistic, but with some lovely friends who will help me out and make me feel better... I just wish that this was over already!

A Window to the Soul

I wanted to do something a little crazy, a little wild and a little excitable because WOOT WOOT IT'S FINALLY FRIDAY! I feel like I've been on a rollercoaster of emotions lately and being honest, I don't know if there is an end to that... Sometimes I'm high as a kite and others I crash back to earth, usually with a bump and an argument!
So the photo that I have decided to share with you today is like a window into my crazy soul... Once you get past the armoured wall of the semi-normal the inside of my mind is dancing around looking very much like this...

The window to Rudh's inner mind happens in this case to be the landing point at Hazardous hehe... I was going to set something like this up to pose with but when something so cute is already available what is the point of going to all of the stress!
The look I pulled together really seems like something that Lady Gaga would have worn in the past... The dress is made up of a simple black gown from PEQE called Domen. I've had this for a while, picked it up at the Festival of Sin - actually it was a gift from my teddy bear - but then when I added that amazing Melanie Wire Skirt from Nana - which you can grab at the lastest round of Suicide Dollz - the outfit needed nothing more than accessories!!
I wore two odd bracelets - the left being from Ninety and the right from Scene - then refound a set I'd had stuffed away in my hoard called Paisley from LaGyo for the neck décor. Yet it was my hair and mask that really completed the outfit... The hair was one from Tableau Vivant, which is an Editorial Style called Laying in a Funky tone, OK so it looks great laying down but it screamed FAB as I wore it with this outfit even when standing hehe, and to accessorise I added an I Am Aries Mask from BOOM... I am SO SAD to hear that BOOM is closing... I mean a 50% sale kicks buttocks but to see the store that I used to wear so much of when I was young is closing it's doors always makes a girl shed a tear!
See I was all excited about this outfit, then I am shedding a tear that BOOM is closing... Emotional Rollercoaster!!

The things in my head Monday Meme...

I feel in the mood to work on a Berry Meme this week... It's been a while since I did one but as she always says we can pick and choose and do what we have time for... Well, I'd pulled together a pretty photo but had no idea what to write to go with it... THEN Berry put up a Meme this week that I really liked the idea of... Answering questions with the first thing that comes into our heads lol... THIS SHOULD BE ENTERTAINING lol... 

Told you the picture was pretty lol... I am liking the pictures that I have been creating recently, I just seem to be getting a little better and this was no exception to that... Perhaps a little more girlie than you might be used to seeing me, but hey sometimes you have to step outside the box right?! I stepped outside the box - my photo box that is - and wandered around Hazardous to get this shot, but let's get on with answering Berries statement questions... 
All I need to do is finish the sentence with the first thing that pops into my head... There shouldn't be any waffle, but you know me lol SO I cannot promise LOL...
