Leave me alone... I'm Reading!

After a day like today I want to do nothing more than tell the world to sod off.. I want to be left alone somewhere I'm surrounded by books, without anyone near me and the only thing I have to wonder about is WHAT am I going to read...

I long for the kinda days I used to hate... The days when our school required us to spend anhour lesson a week in the library reading all kinds of different books... I wish I could go back to that, rather than working my arse off as an adult... Being an adult is majorly overrated!!!
Also can I just take a moment to say... I FREAKIN LOVE THIS OUTFIT!!!! A pair of Aika Pants - from AsteroidBox at Kustom9 until April 10th - and the coolest looking shirt and tie combo - from amiable - it's like the best version of a school uniform that I never had!!! 
Now, Leave me alone... I'm reading!

A Party for One

I seem to be better off on my own today... I am fighting, or at least feel like I'm fighting, with people that I really shouldn't be having petty issues with, and it's beginning to break me... My normally carefully constructed exterior of bubbly, light happiness is cracking and letting people see between the cracks and they don't seem to like it all that much... 

So I need to do something that will make me feel better... Something that will give me a boost of happiness... I'm going to throw myself a little pool party, to celebrate me! A little pool party of one!!! 

Some good music, lots of bright rainbow colours - thanks to some of the awesome Pride related goodies that I picked up at this year's SL Pride at Home event  - and a dip in my perfect little Social Distancing Pool - from NOMAD - washed down with some of Kora's fruity pink lemonade rum cocktails!!

It's a perfect time to test out my new Tropical Bikini from Celeste... They come in a collection of different floral colours and patterns, and are available now at Frou Frou... 

Now if you'll excuse me, it's time for a little Me Party!!!

Storybrooke Hippy Cloud Express

Yesterday's post was a tough one... Both the photo and the story that I wrote with it were deep and meaningful and almost at the point of being too much soul searching for me right now, so today I thought - and I hope you don't mind - if I share with you something a little lighter and perhaps easier!
I've discovered a place so pretty and straight out of my fantasy, adorable mind - that part of it anyhow - that I simply couldn't help myself getting all cute and girlie and doing a little exploring... Luckily someone left a bicycle just laying around, and at StoryBrooke Gardens it seems these bicycles come with balloons!!

The Bicycles and Balloons are something that I have to admit I don't own, though there is a very definite possiblity that I might in the near future LOL... They come from the store vespertine, and the bicycle at least is called the Cloud Express!!
The outfit though, that's all mine lol, and I am damn happy with this outfit too! However, I will admit that I wouldn't normally have chosen this outfit as parts!
I found these pants at an event called Trés Chic - which has now closed but I am hoping you can find these pants at the main store - from a store called amiable. They are frilly and loose, and they only come down to just below the knee. A length that I would never normally choose that, I mean OK I would if it was a pencil skirt but normally I'm either a short short or a full length kinda girl ya know?! I bought this colour without thinking and then whilst trying to find a something to wear with it, I stumbled upon a group gift that had been stashed away in my hoard. The Moon Amore Hippie Crop Top was PERFECT to wear with these pants, and the colours worked so well together...
It was a case of all I needed to do now was sit back on the bicycle and chillax!!

Here comes a Pretty Witch...

As of late I've been a little dead, but there is always some hidden sparkle waiting to burst out... Sometimes I go rainbow Rudh, others it's Kawaii Rudh, but this time it's Pretty Rudh and I just couldn't hold it in any longer!
For my Birthday recently, my MC family took me exploring... We went to a sim called The Grand Duchy of Picklemoon, and if you haven't heard of it then you REALLY should go check it out! It was like being in my head! There is a haunted house that could actually be my brain!! Not to mention all the other areas that would make fantastic photo shoot locations. No doubt I will be going back again and again to find the best backdrops for my crazy photos!
I decided to use the location for the newest photo of Pretty Witch Rudh. After all, there is nothing better that the pretty witch likes to do than take a walk around a pretty location!!!

The pretty witch look that I pulled together started at a little shopping event called The Kawaii Project, you may well have heard of it!
It was there that I found this pretty - but so not my usual style - outfit from {amiable} called Daisy. Although the outfit comes in a variety of different colours, I went with the simple black colour to really make the daisies pop out! I dressed it with a pair of the gorgeous Kawaii Project Wingtip pumps that were a release from uber Kawaii store Katat0nik and then dug out a pretty witch hat that comes attached to the Olive Wicked Hair...
There was just one last thing... What should I have as my Witches Familiar... I couldn't choose lol I had two in mind... SO I went with both because I am greedy like that... I have two three-eyed Pixicat kittens - that I am in love with - and an adorable Spid-eek Pet Spider from SilentSparrow. I normally would never be anywhere near a spider but how can you look at my little pet and tell me he's not as adorable - if not more so - than my kittens?
