Hair Fair 2016 is coming... The biggest Hair event in the SL calender will be crash landing into a collection of sims near you in just a few days and I wanted to take a few minutes just to let you know about one of the many awesome aspects that Hair Fair has to offer...
Aside from the chosen charity of Wigs for Kids - something I have talked about before and will no doubt be talking about again soon - the organisation of this event is cleverly thought out and well executed.
So many helpful tricks have been put into the planning of the event - things like the buildings being phantom so you don'need to worry too much about lag, you can simply walk through the walls, and many other great little tricks...
One of my favourite tricks that this event has always had though will be the awesome Demo Group...
We all know these events get SUPER LAGGY, but trying things on is a nightmare, and I personally never buy hair without at least trying it on to see the shape of it.. The Hair Fair team have an amazing group to help combat this...
The event opens on Saturday July 16th, and if you're anything like me you're feeling excited, but prior to that on Friday 15th - that's this coming Friday - the participating designers of Hair Fair 2016 will be sending their demos to a specially created group... This will mean that you're able to get your hands on the demos and try before you fight the lag!

Moments like this do not happen very often but I think that it is time I shared a picture of Hell and I... Just Hell and I... No one else!! Don't look so shocked LOL I know it is rare but I do have moments with my hubby sometimes! Not that often and usually under duress - on his part I might add - but when I eventually get him to stop building, shooting, being a fart machine to entertain his brother Mongo, and he sits still for a few minutes, he actually makes a fairly good model... I have to work fast, he won't remain still for long, but I gotta hand it to him, in recent months my hubby has become pretty hot!
What started as an argument with Solde prior to her wedding - between Hell and Solde, I was not getting involved in that fight - has now become HellBone constantly shopping, being a fashionista - even if he does really only dress in biker style - and looking pretty good! He's even attracting more attention from the ladies hehe... It's so cute when he gets all unsure if someone is flirting with him LOL...

I'm even more impressed that sitting down like this - using the Come Soon "One" Pose that is available from The Expo until July 27th - that he didn't catch something hehe... The underground bunker that we're on the steps of is the entrance to his special hide-out, the Doody Man cave, which he shares with his brother! There's no way I'd have sat on the steps LOL!!!

In the summer, everyone seems to be going on vacations... Travelling to explore interesting new places or going somewhere they can just kick back and unwind. It's the talk of the RL office that I work in, people constantly chatting about planned holidays and places they recommend from the past.
This year I won't be going anywhere... Least not for a while! Stuck in the position of working two jobs and not being able to afford to take time off of either, still perhaps in a few months I will be able to at least go home for a few days.
Until that time I have to listen to everyone I know talking about their planned adventures... I'm getting that feeling of Wanderlust... Perhaps that is why I've taken up residence in my Caravan more than any of the other houses I call home...
When I was younger I loved to travel. I wanted to see everything. I even jumped on a plane and flew to the other side of the world on my own seeking an adventure... New Zealand has been crossed off my bucket list, and the memories I have of that trip will remain with me always! Yet HellBone is a little less adventurous. I want to see places like China and India, he feels he wants to head to America and has this grand plan that he wants to ride to Sturgis on a Harley Davidson!
Still for now I have to make do with lazing around in my dust bunny Caravan - from the Wanderlust collection - and gaze at the Wanderlust wall hanging - from brocante which is available at No.21 until the end of the day today - planning my adventures in my mind.
Luckily because I am not travelling so much, my suitcases and trunks are providing excellent furniture pieces in the caravan... Tables and even chairs can be made from these things, chairs like this awesome mini couch from Lewd - a Trunk Seat that is available at the latest round of Cosmopolitan until July 16th by the way - so very comfortable, perhaps I will let my daydreams become nap dreams?!

Let's start this week off as we mean to go on, with something crazy, random and suiting the way that my brain seems to be working at the moment...
I'm back in the office after a lovely week of working at home - a wonderful week away from the depressing drudgery that is the office building I work in currently - and already it feels like the happy is being drained from me. Hence a need to do something random that will make me smile... Something like it was straight out of a crazy dream... Something like riding a dinosaur, perhaps?!
LOL Only in SL right?! To see a girl dressed like some kind of fantasy being, riding on the back of a T-Rex is just, well, Secondlife... It's as much a weird part of SL as someone saying "I've lost my ears!" BUT in Rudhland, it's true and it happens!!!
My pet Dinosaur is not new but actually he's still kinda fresh out of his packaging... I'd said last week that I was working on Inventory, well I still had a folder of unopened items from past Gacha Events!!! He's a Dino Buddy - the rare Sharp Tooth to be exact - from JIAN and part of a collection of 5 different Dino types each in various colours... I have a full set of these awesome pets, and since I rediscovered them I've been storming all over the Gator Swamp riding my dinosaurs!
Of course, every dino rider needs a prehistoric fantasy outfit too... Rudh is the epitome of cool looking cave girl today hehe... A dress that is actually a GIFT from Vitrimi, made of leaves teamed perfectly with some leafy vines for her arms and legs, as well as the Rare Paradise Collar from Remarkable Oblivion. The Skull headdress that marks Rudh out as a leader of her tribe of Dino Riders is an accessory that comes attached to the Arwen hair from Truth, and it ties the whole outfit together perfectly!!
I went from being a Gator to being a Dino Rider over night LOL - I'm still a Gator but hey these members of the Gator family have bigger teeth than my own MC brothers and sisters... So question is, are you going to join us or become dinner for my pets? Heheh

Saturday was fun... Lazy but fun...
I even had a chance to hang out with someone that I don´t get to see very often - Sussie - as we hopped around looking for randomly fun things that were going on. It was one of those good evenings, where we stayed up too late having fun, and now in the sunny light of the morning I am left feeling like I've been drinking, without actually having drunk anything LOL...
One swift cure for that...
The sound of feet on the board-walk, a scream and a splash says it all... The best way to get over that sluggish feeling is to shock yourself a little... I'd imagine that this might have the right effect!
In RL you'd never see me jumping into the sea like this, I don't really like swimming in the sea - no idea why just never been a fan of it - but Rudh is totally different, she's going to enjoy that cold feeling! Dressed in a Dana Outfit from CandyDoll - available this month at FaMESHed - she took the plunge, I just hope Sussie is around to rescue her on a surfboard!! LOL...
Pools are better, in my opinion... Perhaps because there are less animals in them?! Though OK the picture doesn't really back that up as someone let Hell and Mongo into our pool LOL...

TADAAAAAAAAAAAA... Today is bounce back day... After all that yummy Ice Cream I am now ready to kick some ass and take some names... It's good really, it's a busy Gatorish kinda day but I plan on taking things very easy this weekend and you know what that means - MORE PHOTOGRAPHY TIME!!!
I have also been working on sorting some of my hoard... It's getting crazy and I still have stuff in there from pre-mesh body which I can never use anymore... This also has it's perks I have to add, you never know what you will find buried in a hoard!!
This dress for example... It's an older but still really cute, and great for the summer, crochet dress called Echo from Dead Dollz... I bought this AGES ago and totally forgot about it! When you add to that the fact that it went so perfectly with the EMPIRE Carnation heels - which again I'd totally forgotten I had LOL - it made for a very happy Rudh!
Now because inventory sorting is a VERY lengthy process, and because I was getting more than a little bored of doing it, while I was in my new -oh-so-happy making outfit, with great looking hair I might add - the Grecia style from Truth for those of you that want to know - I felt a need to find somewhere new to explore!
I found the perfect pretty place... A sim called Everlong... It's straight of a fantasy fairytale! That was it though, I was done with inventory sorting... PICTURES HAD TO BE TAKEN lol...
I wonder if my inventory will ever be fully sorted as it used to be?!

Yesterday was painful, but glamorous, like something from an early Hollywood movie... Today though, I am done with trying to look awesome... I am going to reach out for every girls best friend at at time like this - and I say every girl but OK that is a generalisation and I apologise for that - Ice Cream!!
The tears still fall but hey, when this girl gets some ice cream things start to feel better... It works the same with a cup of tea - the proper English kind not the perfumey stuff, has to be a proper black tea with a little milk and some sugar! - but right now not even tea is helping... I had to go for the hard stuff... Ice Cream!
The Ice Cream I have here today, along with the toppings that it seemed kinda like blasphemy to go without, are items from the Banana Split Bar Gacha Collection created by The Hive... The Bucket of Ice Creams is a rare, but I NEEDED it, and so I become like one of those coupon queens with a shelf full of sauces for my ice creams LOL...
The caravan - my third house full of stuff, a Dust Bunny Release I should add - has become my little bolt hole in times when I need somewhere cosy to hide... Full of soft furnishings and that cosy warm feeling, it's definitely the perfect place for me today!!!
