Why, why, why?? Why not make a Pie?

It's officially the start of my weekend... I´ve done working for the week and now have a blissful two days in which I can rest. I can get things done around the house that I need to do, I can catch up on things that I have been missing in SL, and I might even do a little cooking... I have a bit of a crazing for a pie... Apple, no pecan, no rhubarb... Think it will actually be apples, since that's what I have in the fridge... I am so excited, I can't wait...

There are so many good things that I think of when I think of Pie... Dean Winchester, American Pie, and chicken run - where the chickens don't wanna be a pie, they don't like grazy... I'm reminded of the Sunday evening dinners with my family as a kid. I LOVE the smells and the fact that they make great leftover breakfasts...
The more I think about it, the more I want pie, and I'm determind to fill the house with the delicious smells... That's it... Tomorrow I'm making pie!

Cookie Chaos in my Holiday Kitchen

Since it's the run up now, day 2 on the slippery slope to the Festive Days, I decided that whilst I was at home it might be a good idea to get started on my Christmas baking. I've never been a very good baker, in fact I sometimes wonder how I manage to cook toast without it burning, but since Mum has already made and past me a home-made Christmas Pudding I figured that perhaps I should try and make some delicious cookies this year... How hard can it be to make gingerbread?

In my adorable little Holiday Kitchen - a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - I pulled out all of the ingredients, and pulled on a sexy Baking Bae Apron - from Vanilla Bae - to get myself started... Once I started, I couldn't stop myself from baking more and more, houses and gingerbread men for everyone and as decoration too, but things started going a little strange. I'd followed the recipe in the strange old Thor's Country Cook Book, and I'd rolled the dough to the right consistency, but it started to escape... It was Escaping raw dough - from Aardvark for The Farmers Market - the dough was coming to life, and then the Gingerbread men became Psycho Cookies - from Tardfish at The Warehouse - running around with knives in search of a gang of jelly babies to rough up! I'm telling you, Christmas Candy is BRUTAL!!

"Yes Chef"

I LOVE BAKING... I'm not the best cake maker in the world but I love nothing better than fresh cake and the smells of it as it's cooking...

Rudh used it as a chance to be a little creative and naughty in the kitchen... You never know where you will find some of her interesting toys, it's like anywhere you are in her house there are some of her special toys close at hand... Although today while she was baking, and making a mess in the kitchen, someone came in an caught her in the messy act...

Looking up she can't help but give a cheeky grin... The Chef standing over her asking about her freshly baked cake, with a message iced onto the top of her heart shaped cake - from LEMME - she smiles coyly and says "Hello Chef"... That board in her hand, not much like the chopping boards in her kitchen, more like a paddle for a naughty little sous chef!

The look in her eyes says "Abuse Me, Chef", and yes this pose from Extra was not actually meant for use in the kitchen, it worked out pretty well... and maybe if she's really lucky, she'll get to use some of her other favourite things in the kitchen!!!

What is it?!

It's been a long while since the mermaid in me was allowed out to her time in the limelight. She's been hiding away in the dark, murky waters until the light is able to flicker on the pool.
While she was swimming around nearer the bottom of the lake at Lost Unicorn, the little mermaid was scavenging for human things - taking after her idol Ariel - when something really strange caught her eye. A glowing orb with a rainbow sheen, she had to investigate it with her little seahorse friends!

Her little steampunk horses - from Astara at Engine Room - warned her not to touch it, they were worried by the glow coming off the orb - which is actually a CELESTE Garden Orb that has been shrunk down to fit my hand size but at full size it's GORGEOUS for in the Garden! - but what is it?!
The opalescent rainbow colours had her mesmerized... Maybe it's a trick of the sea witch?!

Frames for the Wildest Whores

It's SATURDAY and I've been being such a good girl recently what with all the fun of Halloween and now once again redecorating our home area LOL, but I realized that for far too long now the naughtier side of me has been left in the dark too long... Well that's all about to change, and I have some very pretty and very fun things to play with!!

Fun things that keep even the wildest of whores happy!!! Things like the new Rotundus Bondage Frame from Violetility, that is available at the new round of ROMP.
While on the subject of ROMP, you will have to excuse my scars... I was being a little Misschevious and got a punishment but I have been asked "Do You Love It?" - this is a gacha collection and the scarring shown is the Good Girl Rare top and bottom by the way!
I may be mischievous, but really I blame it on the adorable bodysuit, it brought out my inner bad girl, and that is all the fault of the Xyleth suit from MuggleBorn.

Let Sleeping Cats Sleep

Well, it's been a crazy busy week this week... There's been so much drama in the cheese shop and my RL friendships have taken a massive beating but right now I'm just tired. SO very tired. It's been physically, but even more mentally exhausting and I just want to sleep all weekend now.

As you can tell I'm even too sleepy to get Rudh to do anything right now, I'm just gonna let her sleep, while I "sleep" through my RL Friday!
Though, while she's sleeping there are a few things that need to be shared, so as I let sleeping dogs - or in this case cats - lie, I will just take a moment or two to point out the super awesomeness that needs sharing!
First take a look at the framed articles that she has up in her bedroom... On the left you can see the amazing Flamingo Print artwork from the DOUBLE 0s, and on the right some adorable pictures of our RL fur babies - Izzy the dog, and Anna the cat - in some awesome Yuca and Lola Frames from Belle Epoque. Both of these things are available at the awesome Rally to Rescue event, hosted by Ghost Bullys MC to raise awareness and funds for Animal Rescue charities, until June 20th!
Also, while you're looking, check out these amazeballs slippers from Violetility. They are a gacha release for the current round of The Arcade, and are one pair of a collection of Supernatural Slippers... It was so hard to decide which slippers I wanted to wear, they are all so cute and comfy, but well it's Cthulu how could I not choose these?!
Can someone do me a huge favour and close the curtains though, the sun is getting into my little room and I want to sleep?!

Isn't MyMermaid Pretty?

ANNNNNNNND I'm back to playing with a totally different feeling when it comes to my blog... I always say it goes in cycles LOL, now I'm back in the realm of the pretty, fairytale me! Sorry everyone, you should know that you never know what you're going to get, and maybe that's the beauty of my blog, it's like a lucky dip every post LOL...
I went fairytale Rudh style today... The mermaid in me wanted a day in the spotlight and well, how could I deny her...

Isn't she pretty? All girlie pastel colours and with the most amazing little fish friends that follow in her bubbles! I guess I'm feeling a little inspired since I saw Aquaman last night - the girl in that has a LOT of Ariel about her, dontcha think? The bright red hair colour! It was the fluorescent lighting of the magical cities that made me most impressed - if you discount Jason Momoa being a massive PHWOAR factor!
The look really came about because of these adorable MyMermaid Shorts from MuggleBorn, and obviously anything hinting at a mermaid means mine will be screaming to be allowed to play in it! From there it was a slippery slope to walking on land style Mermaid - the fishnet set from Vanilla Bae becoming a barely there top and the Half-Deer Mermaid's Majesty tiara topping off the look!
Now because there are some things that should be seen a little more clearly, like the amazing eye make-up from PSYCHO.Byts, and the cute pose from {NANTRA} I'm going to be a good girl and share the ads with you here too... Don't ever tell me I don't spoil you hehe...

"Daddy brought me one of dem newfangled Air Conditioner thingies!"

On Sunday, my lovely niece and crazy brother had a HillBilly wedding!! It was so much fun to get dressed up, and it's something that I'm really not good at. I've never really done it before, but for some reason I ended up as a Pregnant Stripper... It was SO funny to hear Kitten's Daddy - Lex - reading their wedding vows to which both had to respond "Yes Daddy"...
My Daddy, Chopper, did give me a treat though. When his kid is a pregnant stripper that brings home the beer, he treated me to one of those newfangled Air Conditioner thingies...

Coolin' off in the swamp outside my trailer... Got the Dawgs enjoying the cool air... In the family garden at Skull Creek...

Sweet Dreams

Such a lovely feeling being wrapped up in your favourite blanket and waking from a lovely night's sleep... That was this morning for me. I'd not slept well for the past few days, and last night it was so cold that I kept my old blanket on the bed - something that always reminded me of my childhood - for extra warmth. So when I finally woke up, I was wrapped in a snug cocoon of blankets with my teddy bear and hubby shaped bed warmer, it was like heaven...

Of course, and as with anything that seems to be going on in my RL, Rudh will always be affected. She's used a lot to represent my mood - psychologists would love it, I'm sure - and so today, luckily for her she's allowed to do something warm and snuggly!
At the cosiest bed in Elysion, Rudh and her teddy wake up from a nap - looking adorable thanks to a pose from Reve Obscura. I LOVE this pose store, some awesome props poses come out of it, and I have so many I can't wait to play with! I think I just found a new store crush!?!

Spots and Stripes

It's early, well 8AM anyway, but I've been up since 4AM and so it feels like my day has been going for a long time. The world is still dark outside and slowly waking up. I can hear the bin men on their daily round and the people getting up and going to work... For me, I don't feel like doing anything much yet, expect maybe making some more coffee and letting the dog out!?!
Rudh had to do the same thing... Getting up, stumbling to the kitchen to make coffee - although it's a little perilous doing so when she wakes up, maybe I'll show you the house one day LOL - and letting out the countless many dogs that are asleep in her living room...
The newest in her pack, the Dalmatians, were bouncing with excitement ready to get out today...

Only problem is, one of the puppies, decided to create a reason to have a bath today... He rolled in all the chalk paintings that had been done on the board walk outside my house, and went from being a spotty puppy, to a stripy one!
Admittedly I may have more than a little addiction to Jian's animals, I couldn't help myself when it came to Dalmatians... I don't have 101 but seriously it came close as I wanted the Adult Companion, which was of course one of the Rare and the only one that refused to come out of the gacha machine. The little Dalmatian puppy is actually the Rainbow Butt Epiphany Exclusive. This one will cost you 25 points, which you can collect by trading in unwanted gacha items from any of the machines at the event.
