A last walk in the falling leaves...

I cannot quite believe it, but today is the last day of November... Where the heck has the year gone, and tomorrow is the start of the festive season. I'm trying hard to keep my head in the game, as all I want to do is cry that I won't be able to see my family before the big event at the end of the month, but right now I have to start getting myself into something festive... 

Until tomorrow though, I'm going to enjoy a last walk through the Autumn's falling leaves - thanks to the Cole's Corner Autumn Breeze - at the Flower of Scotland... I even made a new friend on my walk, that brought me the most gorgeous bunch of roses - such an adorable Dalmatian Puppy from Jian...

Gimme All The Ice Cream!

I just ate the biggest dinner, a HUGE dinner of jacket potatoes and chilli, and I'm feeling totally and utterly stuffed! Although in the back of my mind, there is always room for dessert, and for some reason, I really want some ice cream... LOTS and Lots of ice cream, with sprinkles and chocolate chip cookies... I wonder if I have any ice cream in the freezer?!

I found an ice cream, a HUGE tall ice cream - from kotte - and I couldn't resist eating more than what's on the cone hehe... I didn't actually get the ice cream tub back into the freezer, I may have filled the tub with extra cookies and sprinkles, and then might have stuffed my face into the tub and ate the leftovers... What can I say, I was a messy eater...

Lunchmeat Comes In Rainbow Colours

Honestly in the past few days things have been mental, I've finally gotten myself into some of the Black Friday sales and can honestly say that Dust Bunny has cleared out my SL coin purse... Yet that's not a reason to stop myself from digging into my huge hoard to find something pretty to play with. As I sat digging through all of my new purchases and and eating a sandwich, until I stumbled upon some new Lunchmeat... 

Did you know that Lunchmeat now comes in rainbow neon colours? 
In the creepy, dark places within Phaetons Passageway - in a dark part of Normandy - there is a hidden space, a dark little table - which is actually a Violetility 'Dark Academia Bar' table, available at The Warehouse Sale - upon which a tank that could only be used for some weird science experiments sits... Surrounded by barrels of toxic waste... 
The Neon Demons are using this toxic waste to create some of the most delicious cocktails in the War Bar... They dress the demons that work in the bar in Lunchmeat... No, no not the smushed up 'pork' in a can, I'm talkin about the brand new collaboration from the brilliant minds behind Normandy and the Beauty of Darkness... They are the people responsible for the amazing Hydrogen Suit and the matching boots - available until December 10th at The Grid...

Swimming with the Sushi Fish

There are new rules in Holland as things are beginning to get worse again, meaning there have to be stricter rules... I have such strong feeling that I want to get myself away from here and run somewhere that's totally free of this pandemic... I've decided to let myself drift into a fantasy world, one that's affected by my stomach and a strong desire for dinner... 
Sushi perhaps?! 

My dreams led me to the Mystical Isle, where I decided to try and swim to find some new mermaid friends... I guess that would be where my hunger kicked in, and where I decided that I was craving sushi. I ended up a little delicious and in my dreamlike state, I found myself feeling like a sushi - and I can really be a sushi by wearing the Ananas from the I am Sushi Set!

What's For Dinner? A Thanksgiving Tinner!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my American friends... 
While I'm not celebraing the holiday myself, being a Brit in Europe... I can always appreciate a good holiday - any and every holiday is worthy of a little celebration at least - even one that I know the bearest minimum about. I mean OK yes, I know the basics of the history behind Thanksgiving but not much else... The history and the dinner, since that's all people seem to be sharing on Facebook... 

Now, while I am thinking of food, I have decided to save the HUGE turkey feast for Christmas, which is when it's more traditional for me as a Brit... 
I wanted to try something new, different and possibly a little random, and recently I'd been watching one of my favourite food bloggers - Emmymade - talk bout making a Christmas dinner. Then days later, the delicious SL dinner makers that are the minds behind Junk Food, released a Thanksgiving Tinner filled with all the delicious goodness of a thanksgiving dinner... Turkey, potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and even the pumpkin pie! Sounds disgusting doesn't it?! I had to try it, but first I had to get a little Foodie - thanks to the pose from FOXCITY - and take a few pictures to post on social media...

Hold On Let Me Overthink This...

 Everyone has different personality traits... It's one of the most amazing parts of what makes us humans, and it's something that I find totally fascinating for the most part - although there are some people I wish could be put into a rocket and sent to outer space sometimes - though when I take a long hard look at myself I know I hate to admit more than one or two of them... I love that I can be silly, I hide my insecurities behind humour and I am both loyal and caring, but my insecurities often outweigh the fun side of me in my own head... I never normally admit it out loud - and definitely not in print - but I have terrible anxiety, self-doubt and I overthink everything and anything... 

I overthink everything, so much... Any important decision will be thought about and re-thought about, and don't even get me to admit the amount of time I ponder things that are triggering my anxiety. I drive myself into a crazy mess, often one that ends up crying and exhausting myself... I do it about all kinds of things, allowing self-doubt to take over and anxiety to ramp up... 
So when I saw this top from Vinyl - at a past round of the Saturday Sale - with the slogan "Hold on let me overthink this", I knew that this top was perfect for me... I've neer seen a top with a more perfect slogan for me LOL... It came to something that I even spent a HUGELY long time overthinking this outfit... Was it good enough, did I look good or was it too weird... It took me a short while but I realised, I LIKE it and I don't care if people dont... I love this look of the day...

The World is heading for Apocalypse...

Maybe you've seen it in the news, or maybe you haven't, but there has been a lot of dramatic things happening in my neck of the world. The world seems to be going through some bad times, even without the ever present Covid in the background, yet here in the Netherlands we seem to be tipping into something that left uchecked could become a civil war... There have been riots in the major cities, protests against Covid rules that has turned to violence and frankly, things are getting a little scary... 

Who knows what the future will hold, but at the moment it feels ore than a little dodgy in the land I call home... It almost feels a little like civil war could be on the way, as people don't seem to be willing to follow the rules set in place by the Government. I understand that people are tired of these things, I know that I hate not being able to get home to family, but surely if we all take these things seriously then there is more chance that the virus will be eradicated... 
Let's hope it doesn't get to the bombs being dropped, but for now I'm going to hide at home as much as I can and just play with my amazing clothes in a safer place like SL... Never did I think I'd find SL to be the safe place...
