The Day Before It Begins...

Well it's finally here, the eve of the Festive Season is upon us... Tomorrow is December 1st. The first day of Advent - which this year I am really really excited for since HellBone spoilt me with my main Christmas present being a BOOK ADVENT CALENDAR... There is so much to do, what with decorating for the festivities, buying and wrapping gifts, prepping all the delicious Christmas grub and just generally getting into the spirit... 

A few days ago I'd been out in the woods collecting foliage for my decorations and so today on the last day of November I'm getting decor prepared. I've set up a little tree and pulled out the baubles, cut at the cards into Jolly Trees - from Spruce - and then pulled over the Early Winter decor crate - that I have from Pitaya - so that I could try out that tutorial I'd seen online... It looked easy enough but even I was pretty impressed with how cute my Christmas Gnome Wreath- from Simply Shelby - turned out!

A Mermaid's Garden

I went out on our annual work team outing last night and I'm a little tired today, but it was funny... The one thing I found myself coming up with one idea, and one idea only that wouldn't budge was something a little fishy... We had Sushi for dinner, so I had to get my Mermaid on, although this time, I went a little more monstermer than I ever have before... 

A monstermer deserves a little time in the limelight too, they aren't al Ariel wannabes down there under the sea, but that doesn't make them any less gorgeous...

Meeting the Residents

I've had a particularly difficult day, I feel like sometimes customers are lovely and others they treat you like you're way below them and you aren't very important at all... If I could get away with it, I'd want to say "Excuse me, if you don't talk to me like I'm a normal human being then I'm done feeding you cheese"... Please remember that people working in retail, are people too... 
I came home from work today and had to stop off to get myself something for dinner... I had convinced myself I wanted something healthy... That turned into a pack of cheesy bullcrap... 

That didn't happen, Hell wanted a take-away and a curry was what he had in mind... Not that I was complaining, although Rudh had picked up healthy things in her Groceries bag, and even stopped to pet the neighbours dogs as she waited by the elevators...

Good Times for Dolls in Malibu Baby

One thing I love about my form of blogging is that as I'm so random I never know what will come out of my brain at any time... I LOVE being something pretty and fantastical, I love being dark and twisted and I LOVE being bright, colourful and weird... Some days I'm more random than others, and today for some reason I've had the Barbie Girl song rammed deep in my brain... That lead to me being invited to a very strange party... 

When my friend said "hey there is a new party location in Malibu Baby - a backdrop from FOXCITY by the way - called "Good Times" - with a sign made by Krescendo for the current round of Man Cave - that has a cinema, pool and a dance club... It was the perfect place for a doll, living or dead like me to explore. So I got myself all dolled up, something Barbie-esque, lots of pink and cute - in a shirt from Adora-tions, and a pink fluffy coat from GABRIEL - but I feel like I had a bit of a wires crossed moment... 
The kind of dolls that were to be found poolside were not what I was expecting... The Blowup Bettys and Blowup Barrys - a release from MadPea for the current round of ACCESS until December 8th - are strutting their stuff, checking each other out and there's an undercurrent of sexiness... Weird looks on their faces and far too much rubber skin on show... Still, I hope they all find happiness, it's just not the hangout place for me...

Releasing the Snow Storm...

I know that sometimes my blogging is all over the place, and one day I'm bright and colourful while the next I'm darker and more dead looking... This time of year as the weather is changing and the winter whites and greys are taking over from the Autumn colours... Soon the reds, golds and browns will be a thing of memory and the whites will be altering the landscape... All it takes is a simple magical gesture from the fae, and everything changes... 

When the Fall Feels hit, and the air starts to get colder... The Fae are slowly starting to get weaker and beginning to show signs of decay, so even though her flowers and leaves are beginning to turn red, her body is decaying before her eyes... All she needed to do now was uncork the bottle, release the Stellar Dendrites and watch as they take a Leafy Ride on the wind...

Geometrics and Bubbles!

My last post was a ittle morose and I am sorry to anyone that I may have brought down with my unhappy ramblings... Today I was boosted from my feelings of meh by a chance coversation caused by my rambling space and therefore not only did I realise that my therapeutic ramblings help me, they do in fact provide entertainment to others a little bit too... It deftinitely made me feel better and made me feel like today I needed to do something random, sparkly and crazed... 

I dunno why the most random of pictures always makes me feel the happiest, and most alive... I wanted bright and colourful, I wanted something neon and colourful, I wanted colours... I filled my screen with Geometric Light Tiles - a release that has come from the great minds at MadPea, and is still available until November 24th at LEVEL - and brightness that made me feel like I was exploring a magical place like Oz... Maybe it's due to my social media being filled with Wicked stuff, but today was all about the green... Missing You

I know sometimes I'm random and I'm a bit of a rollercoaster of emotions, but I made a RL mistrake today and it's hurt me and I feel a need to get it out and talk to someone. I don't wanna burden my hubby with it, and my family and friends are all busy so why not vent here and let it out this way, maybe someone out there can relate... 
It's getting closer to Christmas... This Christmas will be my first without my puppy Izzy, and even though we lost her in February, I caught myself about to buy her something as a gift for Christmas this morning...

I know it seems like a silly thing, I was buying a gift for my kitty... Anna has become so used tobeing the Queen of the house, but I spotted something so adorable for the puppy that I ALMOST bought it before I remembered that Izzy will be eating her Christmas Turkey with other pets from my past... It brought a tear to my eyes, and I fought hard not to let the hubby see...
Needed to find a way to get it out of my system. I miss her so much, and even though there is NO PLAN to get a new Dog anytime soon - I love the freedom that I have without her being here - I can't stop myself from missing her... I had to find somewhere peaceful, to curl up with a cool drink and my memories, I needed to think of her and have a good cry to get over things...
