When I was little I had a dream of being a ballerina - that or a Disney Princess, but I wasn't fussy I'd have been any of the Princesses - I don't think I am alone in this desire too, I know a lot of little girls that say they want to be a Ballerina when they grow up... I went to hundreds of lessons and danced my little heart out, only to be told that I was too fat when I hit puberty... Sad story I know, but heck at least in SL I could live out that childhood fantasy, even if it's just for a moment...
Now OK, I know that a ballerina isn't my normal style of costume, but I really couldn't help myself once I found the gorgeous outfit created by Dead Dollz for a gacha. I grabbed the separate parts in the colours I wanted, each of the sweater, leotard and skirt can be found in black, white or nude tones, and then remembered the REIGN Ballerina warmers that I had stashed away in my hoard...
Now when it came to taking a photo I know that I have ballerina poses, and I know that there are a million different poses for the theme out there but it was the simplest and yet most un-dancerish of the poses that caught my attention most. This Full Scene pose is one from Come Soon Poses, and I just loved the way that the ballerina in me was taking a few moments respite to adjust her shoes before dancing once more... Such a serene looking pose, I couldn't resist!
Perhaps I will audition for a role in a SL performance of Swan Lake? Is there one?!

Weekend is coming, Weekend is coming... YAY... I've only been back at work a few days and already I am super excited that the weekend is coming!!!
This weekend I plan on relaxing... I am going to be doing just a little bit of RL shopping, and a lot of SL shopping LOL, OH and Hell will be away on Sunday so I will be having some peace and quiet time to relax... Sounds like heaven right?
All I am going to need is an extra large comfy chair like the one that Consignment has created for the most recent round - and currently open round - of FaMESHed...
There is nothing better than kicking back in a comfortable chair and watching the clouds, it feels great doing it in Pjs, but a cute outfit is just as good too... Cute like the one I happen to be wearing today...
I love this top from LAZYBONES - I thought they only made hair, but apparently I was wrong! Add to that some awesome jeans from Blueberry and a pair of your favourite ankle boots - mine are Essenz ones by the way.

After all that playing in the snow - and avoiding the cold Wintery rain in RL - one of the nicest things to do is get into a hot shower, or even better a hot bath with lots of bubbles, and if you're really lucky a rubber duckie... Today during my bath I didn't get the rubber duckie, but I did get the next best thing... A nice cold glass of champagne to take my relaxation to a glamourous level...

You know me though, I am far from Glam most of the time, and I had to pamper myself as rolling my curls around cans to steam them into a pretty hairstyle, and cleansing my skin with a lovely Avocado Mask.

I don't know if you've seen it in the news, or perhaps you don't get news about the Netherlands where you are, but we're in the midst of a rare occurrence in some parts of Holland right now. Apparently it's a once in 20 years type deal, but people are putting their ice skates on JUST TO GET OUT OF THEIR FRONT DOORS!!!! I know it's shocked me too! There is no excessive amount of water involved either, it's not like Holland is flooding, it's just slippery right outside the front door! I haven't check at our home yet, I'm staying in my Jammies today but WOW...
It's prompted me to find somewhere snowy - though without ice because ice makes me nervous! - to take a photo of what will be my first look-of-the-day for 2016...
I LOVE this outfit, and before I ramble on about it I want to add here that I LOVE my new skin... It's so pretty, so soft, and so much more feminine I'm glad I decided to update myself hehe...
The outfit though is one of those made up of old and new looks, and I love having had the ability to do that...
For the old I have a jacket and top from Foxes, my favourite boots from Hollyhood and even though it's not as old as the previous two items, the bobble hat and it's curly locks from Spellbound.
The new part is something that in the past I might never have chosen to wear, but now that I have it, I am really glad I stepped out of the box... It is the "Neal" Shorts and Leggings from SPIRIT - available at this month's Uber - with the denim over the leather, it really surprised me that I liked them, but I DO hehe...

I am a shoe-aholic... I can admit that... Not in RL just in SL mind you, where I have a collection that could rival Imelda Marcos... It's not my fault it's just SO EASY to find amazing and not over the top priced shoes in SL... So when I find a pair I often have to show a little restraint hehe...
Though just after Christmas I spotted a pair on Flickr that I fell in love with, and a biker shaped Christmas Elf slipped them into my shopping basket hehe...
The shoes in questions are these amazing Miss LT Creation Studio "Chrys" Heels... They come with a simply HUGE HUD for colour options - including this transparent plastic look - of the basic texture the heel and the metal colours... The thing I love most about them though is the baroque look in a modern way... SO GORGEOUS, I couldn't just ignore these hehe...
I took a walk through Nox Arcanus and found the perfect place to take a picture of a pair of heels... YES it is a play room hehe but never mind that... LOOK AT THE SHOES!!!!

I'm back from my holiday... The time away was needed and I have rested - it would have been better without a monster, but oh well - I still feel like being very, very lazy and luckily I don't have to go to work until Friday.
I'm going to take some time to laze about and rest-up, flop on the sofa - perhaps in a pretty but random location for indoor furniture?! - I still have books to read!
The furniture that I pulled out in this beautiful, snowy location was some of the new releases from brocante - that you can grab at Uber until January 23rd... Brocante is a new collaboratory project from the minds behind Consignment - Mr Wavie Haller - and floorplan - Ms Teagan Serin.

Though I hate to warn you, Consignment lovers, the brocante store is set using floorplan vendors - Consignment gift cards will not work here... I'm still away on vacation, but still making sure that I have plenty of time to make time for you... I am stuck in a place with a woman that, without being too rude, is driving me bonkers and am spending most of my time with my nose in a book..
Yet I'm wishing that the Living Dead Doll Rudh was here to entertain. That side of me would know how to escape the craziness that is my mother-in-law and so today, I am going to let her out while I am writing a blog post at least!
The Living Dead Queen is here to welcome you into the new year, and as the first outing of my Dead Girl side this year I am really pleased to see the somewhat cheeky look on her dead face!
The hat was a gift, that I will be thinking of as a Christmas present from someone who was interested in becoming a Gator but has since changed his mind... Still he gives good presents and I'm not going to complain. The present in question was the awesome Remarkable Oblivion Dame de Lys hat, and when I teamed it with my new London Ruff from Junbug - that I picked up at the latest round of Uber before I left for my trip - it just seemed far too perfect... Though it was too pretty, and that was where the Living Dead me stepped in hehe...
Though she wanted to let me know a little secret of how the scarring on her face was layered up... This would normally be a closely guarded secret but just this once...
The final product is the picture on the left, the last layer I put on was one from Suicide Girls called Hellish, that added the blood and smears, prior to that I'd used the antielle Kuchisake Onna so that my mouth had been sliced over the top of the layer seen in the right hand picture which is a High School of the Damned Haunted bruising layer!
That's all the dead girl needs, lots of layers hehe...
