The Queen Shall Rise

At the moment I KNOW that everything seems to sound like I am not coping, I am hanging on the edge of a break down and I am done with life in general... I am sorry if it seems that way and that I'm worrying anyone. Things are just really difficult at the moment, but I HOPE that soon I am back on track and able to start enjoying life again... It's just everything still seems so bleak and I HATE not being able to pick up the phone and speak to mum... 
The Queen of the family has fallen... I'm just not sure how long it will take for her eldest to be able to step up and assume her role... 

You never think that it's going to happen... I mean I'm not stupid I KNEW it would happen one day, but her mother is 94, alive and kicking... I thought I had at least another 20 years of nonsense with her yet... Still, sometimes the Princess has to step up, stand in the shoes of the Queens before her and guide her life in it's own direction... I'm just hoping she's going to be like the Jedi in Star Wars... Always there, always feeling her "Force"... 
So the battle may be over but the uphill climb has now begun... The mourning period is diminishing, and wearing black is less of a done thing. The crown must be adjusted and worn with pride... I don't know if I'm ready, but the Midnight Order of things demands a Queen shall rise...

Collecting that Toxic Energy!

Why has today been SO WEIRD?! Targets were set incredibly high so we missed them by a lot, it was pretty quiet but people that were in town were more than a bit weird and it just felt like a strange aura was hanging over the place I was made to be stuck all day... The weather was gorgeous... It was a lovely day, but I felt so odd and I just wanted to drift off to somewhere different... It felt almost toxic?!!

As per usual though, when my mood is a little bit weird... I let my mind get creative, and I LOVE the results, as toxic as they are... 
For some reason my mind went to a place where toxic energy was collected in large barrels, harvested from the jellyfish by the most interesting of jellyfish people... They have to live underwater but breathe the toxic energy they carry in the tanks on their backs when under water to harvest the stinging poisons...

What To Wear?! What To Wear?!

One of my favourite things about blogging, something that I've often said before, is that I LOVE being able to create characters and come up with some weird and wonderful stories... I LOVE that side of blogging and will do it often... Sometimes it's a case of opening my wardrobe doors and throwing things together... It's like creating some crazy, fun disguise to slip into to change my mood and make everything brighter... 

Sometimes it's a blessing, others it's just a way of making life seem difficult LOL... Today was one of those days. Disguises... A secret agent, super sleuth... A Victorian girl, secret super sleuth, steampunk investigator lol... Fairy Flower Magic

I wanted a little sprinkle of some light, bright fairytale magic today. I know Halloween is meant to be about the dark and spooky but dressing up, is dressing up, and well originally the fairytales were nothing like the Disneyfied happy endings we get now... 
Still a little sprinkle of fairytale magic can't hurt, especially when I'm feeling so low right now... 

I've always loved readin fairytales. I love the magic, the drama, the love that can be found... I've always wanted to let my inner fae out to play and in SL there are just so many different ways that I can do exactly that... I love expressing my fairytale creativity in Secondlife and having so many pretty things to play with really does help.
Today the fairy in me is trying all different kinds of magic to help the Frog Prince return to his human form, since Princess Tiana is on holiday...

Toxic Goo in the Forest!

Honestly I have been so busy today that I was debating with myself about 'did I have enough energy?' to figure out something that I wanted to dress in, photograph and talk about... 
I think that this time, I could find just that ounce of energy to discuss a Halloween look today, because I have been waiting to play around with a look like this, and it came together so well... 
SLIME!!! Oozes and drips and great big mahoosive globs of slime... The green gooey kind that's a little toxic... 

I used to love the movie Fern Gully, with Tim Curry voicing the evil and toxic Hexxus that was trying to destroy the forest using man's machines... Now I could never do a legend like Tim Curry justice, even when he's only a voice of a character so I've decided that I'm more like his evil toxic cousin, Noxious... I'm a green toxic waste kinda slime, and I'm left in the places where people dump their rubbish illegally... I radiate and sparkle in a neon green, and I assist in the mutation and degeneration of the beings that live there...

Heathen of the Neon Skies

I am sorry that I seem to be a little absent at the moment. RL has become something of a crazy nightmare as of late considering that my boss is away, and the only other person besides myself with any authority at work is off sick. I'm not able to give my SL much time at all, and I really hope that I can manage to get through the requirements of my blogging schedule this month. I'm going to have to be really good and keep track of things well... 
That aside though, my brain is both extremely sleepy, and my mind is wandering to random places stuck in the deepest corners of my mind. where the colours are bright and there's mystery in the lights...

Magic of a Djinn

Saturday!! A day for fun, an evening for celebrating the night, and a chance to enjoy a couple of days of peace before a lazy Sunday - in most cases, with the exception of the poor souls like me that have to work tomorrow - so that magic, can and will happen... 
In the heat of the desert, as the day time slips into the peace of an evening and the cool starts to flood the overheated sand, there is often a risk of discovering the dangerous spirits that hide in the dunes... Deserts, like the Zannier Desert - a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - tend to be places that can hide the mysterous Djinn...

One of those mysterious spirit forms, the Djinn are most commonly found buried within the old customs of modern Arabic culture... Both revered and reviled, these spirits are believed to be closer to humans than gods due to a mortality that cannot be protected by their magic... They hide in the dusk, dancing just outside of the light where they sparkle as their magic glistens...

Candles Light the Midnight Order!

The Midnight Order has once again opened it's doors to the darkest parts of the magical places in the Second Life universe... The magic flows through it's sacred order and for a very short time it will seep into the light of the grid to share it's darkness... 
The outside looks like it's a beautifully sunlight day, the sands of the desert are calm and the wind isn't shifting th grains over the dunes... Inside the castle walls though, the darkness keeps things shaded and cool, magic happens better when it's cooler... 

Lurking in the shadows of the halls of the Midnight Order, I decided to light some of the Vered Set Candles - a Midnight Order release from random.Matter - to welcome the spirits in. Being a greeter of the KORE - from V/.VoluptasVirtualis - wearing their robes and marked by the Sjora Tattoos - from Lilithe' - hoping that the spirits will love the Midnight Order... There is so much pretty to come...
