Gorgon Chained!

You may well know now that I work in a public setting, and there are people that seem to do everything in their power to put you down because you don't have the things they do have. I get that some of the tourists have more material things than others but today those same kinda people basically shoved other people out the way to stuff their face on tasting samples and then complained about the price of the product... I had such a hard time not rolling my eyes, but it brought out a monster in me and although that varies from time to time, the monster of today would be a gorgon LOL... 

I love when my mind takes me to al kinds of different monsterous places, but since I'm watching Wednesday and think that Ajax is the cutest little sweetie so a Gorgon definitely demands my attention... Plus she's the kind of monster that I need when I'm at work sometimes, being able to turn people that look at her hair to stone would definitely help make thing easier when I'm dealing with rude, annoying customers... 
Monsters like her have to be kept chained up for the safety of others, and while she's a little misunderstood, they bound the wrong parts of her... Eyes closed under a blindfold, while her snakes are loose...

A Different Kind Of Magic!

Once again I've had a long day of chaos with my daily job and the fact that Holland has no trains running meaning the busses were full and people were having issues... I'm home from work now and needing a little magic to make things feel better...

Magic can be found in many places, and caused by many things... There are many things that people would consider magic and if you asked a collection of people, they may all surprise you by saying things that are different... 
One thing that seems like magic at the moment is that Hair Fair 2025 is now happening, and runs until June 15th... This charity event has changed a lot over the years but the magical part is that every year thousands of dollars are raised to assist in the creation of Wigs for Kids that are very much in need... The smiles on their faces is a little magic the world could use right now... 
The little fae was super excited in the gardens today as her and her Hair Brownie - which is a creation from Tardfish, available at the Hair Fair - were playing in the flowers and she found herself a new wand of the magic kind... It won't do much to tame her wild "Svetik Hair" - from monso, also at the Hair Fair - but the cutie Curling Iron is definitely magic!!!

The Fight of Angels

A day off, a chance to relax and let myself drift off into a fantasy word, where the monsters no longer hide in the shadows and the light in me feels strong enough to force itself to fight for it's happiness... I've been deaing with a lot of stress, wishing that things would improve in my family life, my work life and with my health... I'm fighting to get through the pain at the moment and hoping my grandmother keeps fighting... 

Angels fighting the chains that bind them... Chains that control my health - my pain level is high at the moment and I'm suffering due to being  girl! My grandmother has been in the hopsital over a month, she was moved to a recovery center and promptly moved back because she keeps fainting, so the angels are fighting to guide her through this. I've got to deal with issues of problem coleagues at work, and I am desperate to go home for Christmas... May the angels break free frrom these changes and kick some problematic butt... All while looking ethereal and dangerous...

Drinking Induced Nightmares...

Yesterday was a TOTAL nightmare and today I've been a little nervous, feeling shocking due to the events of yesterday. It caused me to miss my Monsterous month target but I'm hoping that I can just carry on as much as possible. I think though, today I need a very STIFF drink, there's no better place to get myself a halloween drink, than at the nearest Halloween party... 

I don't know what I want to drink, I really need something stronger and I feel like making myself a fancy cocktail... I am having pizza for dinner, nothing as fancy as you might get at the Halloween Party - like the ones I'd laid out from vespertine - and the TWO different flavours of fancy Ice Cream for dessert, in this case I'm going for something Humane and Eyeballs - thanks to Clover and Aardvark in that order... But Now it's time to start mixing up the strongest of drinks... I'm going to mix some Crabby Apple Beer and some Mutant Energy Drinks - both of which are available from Junk Food at the mainstore - I made myself into a Shamless Martini - an accessory by Figure 8... I MAY have drunk a few of those too many, it didnt take long until the chocolates that I'd been holding onto for later became Horror Chocolates - from Aardvark - floating around my head, gnashing it's teeth at me menacingly...

Pick of the Patch

There is a definite change in the season now, things are getting a little more Autumnal and there's a soft chill in the air as the skies get darker earlier and the weather takes a drastic turn... There is a definite shift towards the most wonderful time of the year  AND the most wonderful holiday. I cannot wait until Halloween. I've been doing a few odd jobs here and there to get myself ready for the spooky season... 
One of the most important tasks at this time of year, especially for the magical folks of the world, is making sure that while the colours turn, the pumpkins grow big enough to carve... 

One of my favourite places every season tends to be the land of Moochie, at this time of year it becomes a garden of All Hallows... It's always worth a visit and it makes for a pretty backdrop to take pictures or go for a walk. 
The fairy folk tend to use it as a place to relax while painting the seasons in it's different colours... We all know that I LOVE to hunt down the fae folk and the one I found in the pumpkin patch today is definitely one of the more strikin fae in the woods. Her colours are totally Autumnal, her face decorated with the wings of a Fae Queen - from Clover - whilst her Spectral Butterfly Wings - from Quills & Curiosities - show her dark aura and connection to the upcoming dark holiday!

Candles Light the Midnight Order!

The Midnight Order has once again opened it's doors to the darkest parts of the magical places in the Second Life universe... The magic flows through it's sacred order and for a very short time it will seep into the light of the grid to share it's darkness... 
The outside looks like it's a beautifully sunlight day, the sands of the desert are calm and the wind isn't shifting th grains over the dunes... Inside the castle walls though, the darkness keeps things shaded and cool, magic happens better when it's cooler... 

Lurking in the shadows of the halls of the Midnight Order, I decided to light some of the Vered Set Candles - a Midnight Order release from random.Matter - to welcome the spirits in. Being a greeter of the KORE - from V/.VoluptasVirtualis - wearing their robes and marked by the Sjora Tattoos - from Lilithe' - hoping that the spirits will love the Midnight Order...
