'Tis the month of not looking like such a crazy person when you dress a little different, and although I don't normally care what people think I'm now at the point of it's the month of Halloween and I am going to damn well use it to my advantage... I've got SO many crazy outfits, and even though I'm still shopping for normal human stuff, I just cannot help myself thinking "Nah I'll save that till next month and blog this now!!!" Today I'm going a little demonic... I saw a dress I HAD to have it and well, the dress lead to a character in my mind, it doesn't take much hehe...
Lurking at the Bloodlust Demon Dungeon - I warn you it's a place where the ladies are in charge, if you know what I mean - you may spot some of the little Rudh demons that are normally kept locked deep inside... It's one thing unleashing a dead doll, but a demon well that's a whole different kettle of fish! The dress was something I saw someone wearing on Flickr, then had to go on a mad hunt to find it... The Flame Dress comes in two different dresses, with and without flickering sparks that drift from your outfit, and is a creation by a store that I seem to know more of as a Jewellery designer than a clothing store... BEO Jewelry have released this dress at The Avenue, and it will be available there until October 20th! The little demon's burnt skin and tattered wings are due to the fire dress and flaming hair, but the burns are not hurting anymore though the mental scars are searing through her mind... I have a little more witchy goodness for you now, not that it's remotely witchy, but it is definitely available from the Witching Hour today and until the 19th! I will admit that this one looks a little more horrorific than the last, and definitely more so than the next which I may share with you LOL... I just couldn't help myself, I found the teeth at a totally different event, and then when I saw the eye I was like 'HECK YEAH Rudh got her deadly back'... After the weekend I had I am in need of looking scary, but more about that later!!
Horrorifying isn't it, and it's coming for you!!! This mystical beast is a rare three eye soul eater of sorts... Basically it moves into your human skin and eats your soul turning you into this crazed looking monster. OK technically that's a load of rubbish LOL, but again the weekend I've just had you might be willing to forgive me some of that insanity! Still you get to hear all about that soon, and for now you can sit back and relax as I tell you all where you get get your grubby mits on the things that make up this horrorific look! The teeth were the first thing that I put on to play around in, and I will admit that I was a little distracted by them, so much so that I kinda forgot I was meant to be working on The Witching Hour items for a little bit as I danced around in the swamp!! The teeth are a [ni.ju] release that you can find over at the awesome Creepy Kawaii Fair. I was in love with this event, and bought a LOT, it summed up both halves of my brain in one easy move - creepy and cute - I was in heaven! I then caught sight of the bag of Witching Hour Goodies I had laid out to wear and decided to just add them to my toothy look! The Third Eye of Nature is a creation by Lillith's Den for this month's Gacha event. Available in a myriad of colours and designs, this large third eye, with its slightly glowing green veins is the perfect thing to wear with my huge teeth. Now I HATE to sound like I am being rude, but I do have one small issue with this item and that is the skin tone behind the eye... This isn't a complaint and it's not to sound rude - please don't take it as such - but I would LOVE to see the skin in varying shades. The bulbous sore look is awesome, but I'd love to have it in a paler tone - more akin to my skin - so that I could wear this more often, if not on a daily basis... PLEASE make them with paler skin pretty please?! I had to put something a little cute on with this look... I didn't want to scare anyone after all... So I added an adorable pair for Rare Bunny Earmuffs from BLD - aren't they cute! Then as a final finishing touch, just a little bit of glamour in the form of this ULTRA RARE Psychopomp - such a cool word - necklace from [TfAtN] in the Night Hart Design... You just have to love the way that random items come together sometimes LOL... This is rather scary, even for me, and I MADE IT LOL!!!

Would it be weird of me to say that I am NOT fond of snow? In RL I always find myself feeling paranoid that I will slip over when things start to become ice, and in SL, well I don't know I'd just rather not spend too long in snowy places... Makes me feel cold LOL... BUT SL seems to have gone a little bonkers and snow is popping up everywhere! Now, after that little rant I will admit that there is one place in SL which seems to look perfect no matter the weather... If you haven't wandered through Frisland - and don't mind the snow - now would be a good time to go as it's gorgeous! I took a walk over there yesterday, and this may make you laugh, but I was surprised by a strange lady in the snowy forest... She was dressed in an elegant gown, a strange looking crown on her head and she whispered "Love The Snow" before she disappeared into a mist of fine snowflakes...
Luckily I managed to check out her outfit before she disappeared... Her dress made her look like a "Lady of Roses", as that dark royal colour was decorated by a myriad of pale roses... Her crown although pink in tone was dauntingly spiked, creating an eerie malevolence... Her Icy Breath washed over me, and it was then that I found a sudden love of the snow at Frisland!!! LOL, OK enough of the story telling... Let's get serious and talk about the outfit before I get lost in my own imagination hehe... The crown is an older one, that has laid dormant in my hoard for a while... That having been said, the Distorted Dreams Goddess Crown is something I can no longer find in-world or on the marketplace. Sorry to say! The dress however, is a different story. This dress is a brand new release from Stargazer Creations - for the December We <3 RP line-up - and it comes in a big collection of different colours! Last but by no means least, I want to mention this new pose! This is a not yet released pose from Image Essentials, but you only have until tomorrow to wait to get your hands on it, when the Winter Trend Fair opens! The It's Cold Outside Set, is a series of four different poses, that although I am not a snow fan seemed too hard to resist using. I loved the magical feeling to them, and I am sure you will see them again soon no doubt! Horror Haute, Horror Haute, my favourite time of the month is here YAY!!!! The theme for this month, if my last post didn't give it away any is Day of the Dead, or Dia De Los Muertos, which is going to mean bright colours, flowers and lots of happy Rudh hehe... If you want a small dosage of colour in your life then you shouldn't miss a little trip to the Horror Haute Skybox this month... My first dose of Horror for November, got me singing the Monster High theme tune in my head again... I swear if these dollies had been out when I was a kid, it would have been a case of "Barbie Who?" I seem to take every opportunity to make myself look like I fit right in at the school!!!
Let's start with the easiest but also the one item that is not available at Horror Haute... The outfit I am wearing is a brand new School Daze Outfit from yumyums - that you can grab yourself from the new Geeks & Nerds Fair that started today. This outfit is pure and simply put, AMAZEBALLS... There are so many different textures you can grab yourself, including some that look like you're a walking ice cream - watch this space that WILL be coming your way - but for the look I had in mind, a simple school uniform style worked best! I added a hair bow and bow tie, in a matching colour of course, from Laudanum Lollipops for this month's Horror Haute - Yes back on the subject of Horror Haute again already - and finished the look up with a pair of adorable Day of the Dead Stockings from Seddy's Creations. Although for me, the thing that most makes this outfit perfect for a day at Monster High School, is the skin! I fell in love with this skin the moment I put it on... It's a Stargazer Creations "Dias Muertos" Skin and I chose the Sky colour, but there are so many colours to choose from... Don't miss out on these! Time to sing you out with the school's theme song... I can't believe I am about to link this right now... It's so cheesy LOL...
Horror Haute is slowly beginning to fade into the setting Autumn sun for October... Friday brings the most exciting day of the dead for the year, but it also sees the doors close on the coffins of the Horror Haute Vampires... I wanted to make one last salute to the blood drinkers, and another nod in the direction of the awesome and creative designers that offer up their horrific goods every month!
As you can see, I took the sulty, and classic, route for my last trip into Vampire land... Being honest it's not somewhere that Zombie me feels really comfortable. I mean I KNOW they are undead too but they drink blood while their dinner is still alive... Least we mutilate ours to death first LOL... I took a walk to the Horror Haute Skybox, where you can pick up all of these horrific goodies, and bumped into a friend. He told me to tell Anna and Themis that his arms are getting tired as the pumpkin is heavy LOL... Though he did compliment me on my dress... The Sanguisuga Dress - from ImmateriA - is very striking... Being honest, not something that I might have chosen to buy if I saw it on the shelf. At first glance it seemed like there was too much going on, but when I really looked at it, it just seemed too beautiful not to at least play with a little... I AM SO GLAD I DID! I love the ruffled flamenco skirt, and as it's separate from the top, I will admit that I've been wearing it with a simple top too! There is also call for a close up today too, because I need to show off the skin and make-up a little more clearly...
There we are, much easier to see hehe... I wanted a skin that seemed a little more Vampire, and a lot less my usual lol, and I got very lucky as Stargazer Creations had sent me a copy of their Horror Haute Vampire Skin Set! So many different make up choices, with and without cleavage and bloody mouths for the messy eaters lol... The eyes are also part of the set, so it is definitely well worth checking into! I felt though, that it was missing something... What I didn't know, but definitely SOMETHING! Helena Stringer - of The Stringer Mausoleum - proved to have that something I needed! She created the striking eye make-up I put on. Called Night Queen, it comes in a set of 9 bright colours, that will wake up any face in the dark of the night! One more thing to say... That's all folks... No more Horror Haute from me until next month! You don't need to wait long, it runs the last week of the month and ooooh it's going to be a good theme... I have mentioned in the past about an event called The Witching Hour, but I haven't really focused on it too much until recently. Created by the same team that run Horror Haute, this event is a monthly Gacha affair, with a number of designers setting items into the seductive gacha machines... I am both addicted to, and perturbed by, gacha machines, especially when I want something specific from the contents... One of the Witching Hour designers, sent a photo through group of bloggers and asked us to contact her for reviews - fair enough as it means coverage will happen! - and when I opened the picture I was like "I NEED TO PLAY IN THAT OUTFIT!!!" Luckily she agreed to let me have one LOL, and so play I did!!!
The Sorceress Gown and Staff in this bright citrine colour are one of a set of colours that you can win from the Stargazer Creations gacha. The Dress is ultra rare and the Staff rare, but the colours of these items are all so gorgeous you will be making grabby hands just to get them! Of course there are other awesome things to grab at the Witching Hour this month too... These AMAZINGLY EPIC horns from The Stringer Mausoleum are a good example of that, as well as the Self Stirring Cauldron from Brick-a-Brack. I also wanted to include a close-up look at the outfit, purely because of the choker that you cannot see in the main photo... This is part of a gorgeous set called Magick from Cyrious, which you could also win yourself at the Witching Hour! I then took the opportunity to introduce you to one of my new little friends!! MishMish is involved in a soon to start - on October 15th to be exact - event called Trunk and Treat, for this event they've created some adorable little Candlelish friends, that can either hover along with you, be carried and will even follow you!
