Yesterday was all about drinking Champagne and being rather under dressed, and I guess today is on a similar theme lol... Not enough clothes to be out in the snow - if this was RL I'd have frost bitten toes - and would you look at that, Gluhwein! Careful Rudh, don't be getting an even worse reputation for yourself LOL...
Luckily SL is a place you can go out in the snow in a miniskirt and still feel warm, because in RL tights - or stockings - would be a necessity! Still at least the Gluhwein will warm me up! Right?!
I went for a walk at WinterFlakes and decided to stop off for something warm, sweet and a little alcoholic at the Gluhwein stall this morning.
I have to admit I wasn't entirely well dressed for snowy weather, but the outfit from Petite Mort was meant to be one that I wore to a party or drinks with the ladies - maybe I'm on my way home doing the walk of shame LOL...

I LOVE THAT about this store, things work great together and with other things plus there are so many great colours to mix-n-match!

I'm at home today, thank goodness!!! YAY!!! So it means I have a little bit more freedom to enjoy myself rather than worry about having the big mean bosses breathing down my neck!!!
Now that I had this new found freedom, I wanted to do something silly... Some of my friends suggested Ice Skating!!! "Come Skate" they said, "it's fun" they said...
"Look out for that tree" is what they should have said... I was having such a good time that I missed the HUGE tree appearing in front of me and BAM I smacked into that sucker so hard I collapsed and got to see pretty stars!
Anyway I KNOW what you're thinking besides the fact you're laughing at me for my extreme tree hugging, but I can see it in your eyes, you're wondering why I'm barely dressed and ice skating LOL... Well I bought the outfit a while ago and YES it is a strange colour combination but it just seemed perfect as an outfit that a figure skater might wear LOL... I had to have it! It's an Emporium release called Cindy! It also goes amazingly well with the very very very cool (Poisoned Diamond) High Heel Skates which you can grab for yourself at Winter Trend until December 18th.
Seems like I'm going to have a few bruises in the morning, but then I guess if you know me at all you're gonna be thinking that it's nothing abnormal LOL... Lets just hope I remember who I am when I wake up huh?!

One of the things I am most put off Christmas by is the present wrapping... I LOVE to buy gifts for people, I love that thrill of looking for the perfect gift and finding it, and then seeing the look of happiness on their face as they see the surprises inside, but in RL the one thing that I don't like doing is the wrapping!!! I tell myself every year people are ONLY getting things in easy box shapes, but then I always end up with presents that look like they have been in a fight with a paper machine or something!
Now normally I don't have this problem in SL... It's easy to stick a bow on something, or put things in a box LOL... But this year, HellBone and I are planning on possibly moving our family... HellBone wants to move the Gators MC to a new sim, with a new store, and new EVERYTHING!
So when I went Christmas shopping to buy him a a little something in SL, I automatically thought of the set that is up for grabs at The Arcade, from the mind of Mr Wavie Haller of Consignment!

I carefully laid out all of the things that I had for him, in a a place that he would NEVER think to look for me LOL - yes that would be his store lol - and scratched my head... That would be how I got the present bow caught in my hair by the way!
Dressed in an ugly Christmas sweater, that was a gift from a friend, over my awesome sparkly green catsuit - from M.O.D.A.N.M.E.S.H - I curled up on the floor of the store and tried to untangle the gift bow, when some of the little Krampus Elves - from Lost Junction at Horrorfestive, which has now closed but should have items going back to their origin stores soon - decided to jump in and "help"!

That's right, as of right now, this is my last little look at Horrorfestive 2014. There may be more to come, and I can tell you right now that Horrorfestiveness will be popping up in other things that I am working on, but this will possibly be the last time that it a post's soul purpose is the darker side of the festive season lol...
I also felt a little naughty, because well due to the Horrorfestive, I've kinda been neglecting other things... The Witching Hour for example is here, and rocking and rolling, and I got lost in a festive dark place!
NOT ANYMORE!!! I took a walk at the Horrorfestive event location and was very soon overcome by a strange sensation... It didn't feel like burning but it was HOT!!
It wasn't hot due to the outfit - although this SAKIDE Fuzz Leather Outfit is pretty hot - but there was something heating me up around my head!
I had found a strange [TfAtN] Blessing Necklace - which you can pick up for yourself at The Witching Hour - and while I was walking through the snow at the Horrorfestive, things started to heat up. Within seconds it felt like a shock of lightning passed through me, I had no idea what was going on, but the heat circled my head and licked up my face. The Daemon Lightning Collar and 'I See The Light Mask' can be purchased from Spyralle at the event, in case you're wondering!
I do not know quite how but a halo had appeared, the [TfAtN] Elemental Halo was calling in the fire, and branding me with a SongBird's Blessing!

Horrorfestive 2014 is here, I've mentioned this before, and this won't be the last time I say so either...
We're raising money for Munchflower Zaius - formally of Nomine - as she has been diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. On a personal note, I will say that this has hit home with me a little deeper for me... One of my best friends, and MC Sisters, has also been going through testing for the same thing recently. She had problems with her body not working as it should, and being in constant pain - I've witnessed her hurting and it's horrible that I can do nothing to help - but for this there is no cure!
Now, the event is raising money for Munchflower's cause, and there are lots of ways to donate, but seriously who doesn't love buying something pretty at the same time... Horrorfestive, you get something pretty and give a little!
Maybe something like one of these goodies perhaps?!
Can I interest you in a Clawy Helper for Santa - courtesy of HopScotch - just don't get too close or it will hurt hehe... Or if that help isn't enough what about these adorable elves - from the land of Lost Junction, these by the way happen to be one of my absolute favourite items from the Horrorfestive... I LOVE them so much, they are appearing all over the place at home!
You can also get your snacks for Santa at the event, this poisoned Santa Trap - from Enchant3D - will make any scary looking fat man keel over! Having to keep HellBone away from it just for that reason, and I say so here to test whether he actually reads my ramblings or not LOL...
I wanted to keep my outfit fairly simple this time, but a LOT of it comes from the Horrorfestive! My dress forms a part of The Doll outfit from SongBird and it comes with the full body joints tattoos in a cracked or normal version - the tattoos you can also get seperately by the way, which is a flipping brilliant idea! - although the cracks that I am wearing here are those from Ama called Shattered in a delicate rouge colour!
I fell in love with a second item from the Horrorfestive line-up too... The boots from ImmateriA are called Yeti Boots and this would be the rare Licorice colour - yes they are in an evil gacha! - but how can you not love these! They reminded me so much of whenever you saw some of the monster feet on Sesame Street when I was younger... I had to get the blue pair LOL you will understand why when you see them!! LOL!
Lastly, and possibly more clearly in the close-up below, I wanted to show you the gorgeous Morelia Eyes from Avatar Bizarre. It wasn't enough for me to be a dead and broken dolly LOL, no I had to have monster eyes too!!

Would it be weird of me to say that I am NOT fond of snow? In RL I always find myself feeling paranoid that I will slip over when things start to become ice, and in SL, well I don't know I'd just rather not spend too long in snowy places... Makes me feel cold LOL... BUT SL seems to have gone a little bonkers and snow is popping up everywhere!
Now, after that little rant I will admit that there is one place in SL which seems to look perfect no matter the weather... If you haven't wandered through Frisland - and don't mind the snow - now would be a good time to go as it's gorgeous!
I took a walk over there yesterday, and this may make you laugh, but I was surprised by a strange lady in the snowy forest... She was dressed in an elegant gown, a strange looking crown on her head and she whispered "Love The Snow" before she disappeared into a mist of fine snowflakes...
Luckily I managed to check out her outfit before she disappeared...
Her dress made her look like a "Lady of Roses", as that dark royal colour was decorated by a myriad of pale roses... Her crown although pink in tone was dauntingly spiked, creating an eerie malevolence... Her Icy Breath washed over me, and it was then that I found a sudden love of the snow at Frisland!!!
LOL, OK enough of the story telling... Let's get serious and talk about the outfit before I get lost in my own imagination hehe...
The crown is an older one, that has laid dormant in my hoard for a while... That having been said, the Distorted Dreams Goddess Crown is something I can no longer find in-world or on the marketplace. Sorry to say! The dress however, is a different story. This dress is a brand new release from Stargazer Creations - for the December We <3 RP line-up - and it comes in a big collection of different colours!
Last but by no means least, I want to mention this new pose! This is a not yet released pose from Image Essentials, but you only have until tomorrow to wait to get your hands on it, when the Winter Trend Fair opens! The It's Cold Outside Set, is a series of four different poses, that although I am not a snow fan seemed too hard to resist using. I loved the magical feeling to them, and I am sure you will see them again soon no doubt!
