Royal Guard defends the Stairs to the Sky

I noticed lately that things have been doing a lot of pretty but normie looking pictures lately, I had so many things on my mind since I've been back to the UK, and now I'm wondering how I've gone this long without a little magic, a little fantasy, and a little sparkle... 
I feel stronger after my visit home, I feel powerful.. I feel like I could protect and defend and have the power to do anything I set my mind to... I feel like I could defend the stairway to heaven...

Pizza on Cyber Monday

After the Black Friday weekend and all of the fabulous sales that were dominant in Second Life this weekend - I've seen it said that the sales in SL seem better than they were in RL, and I think that I am in agreement with that statement - the sales were epic and massive in their number. Although now that Monday has come around, there has recently been a new day in the sales calendar, Cyber Monday... Of course, although it's an extra day of shopping, today is the chance for me to do Cyber in a different kinda way... 

Tonight, I'm heading into the Old Arcade - a pose set with the arcade machine props from Fashiowl Poses - where the new and shiny cyborgs are hanging out to dine on some delicious Pizza. Eating Pizza is a messy business, and the cheese seemed to get everywhere. You have to be so careful that you don't get the cheese on the fabulous old Caddy Couches - from Krescendo - which happen to be so comfortable, you won't resist being able to sit on them... 
Even the Cyborgs, in their amazing new Hunter Socks and Spectre Briefs - from Normandy - that are teamed so well with the cute tops and her music loving, cybernetic parts...

Wearing a Blanket on Laundry Day

I love going on holidays, and I love coming home and returning to my usual stuff - some stuff more than others - but one thing that I'm not keen on is the mountain of laundry that seems to fall out of my suitcase as I get home. I opened my case, I took out the most important thing, a Christmas Pudding made by my mum and then had to start loading the machine... Until that point I'd washed all my things I'd have nothing to wear... 

This time of year is a little too cold to be sitting around in my nudiepants, that's naked for people that don't speak Rudhese by the way, and I had to find a way to keep warm whilst all my clothes were getting cleaned. I got lucky in this case, I'd received the most wonderfully warm, soft, fluffy 'Wrap Me Up' blanket - from Ananas, available until December 23rd at Tannenbaum in 6 different fun colours - and sat on the floor to watch the awesome show in the spinning machine.

Getting Home, All Snowed In!

I'm back from my vacation, and it was a lovely trip home to spend some very much needed time with my parents and sister. I enjoyed all those things I loved doing at home, things like going to second-hand stores, reading plenty of books and generally lazing around doing not a lot of anything. It's been wonderfully restful... Now though it's back to reality, and on a slippery slope to a jolly holiday... 
Talking of slippery slopes... I looks like it's been more than a little snowy in many of the pretty places in Second Life... 

I got back from my little vacation, there has been lots and lots of changes. Snow has started to fall in the pretty parts of Second Life and there has been so much snow in my corner of the Second Life world that I've been Snowed In - a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - so I dumped my case on the steps and after grabbing a shovel - that comes with the pose set also from Synnergy.Tavis - and deidd to get to work. While digging out the snow, and started talking to my new little robin friends, as I begin to dig through the snow...

Already Gone...

It's here, it's here the day that I've been waiting for. I CANNOT be more excited but I have SO MUCH to do, I haven't even really done my packing properly yet and I feel like I'm going to forget something, but I DON'T CARE! I'm going home today, back to good ol' England to spend some much needed time with my Mummy! I have things to get done, packing aside, I have to make sure the house is nice for HellBone while he's alone for two whole weeks, and I have to make sure that I have a gift box ready to send to someone very important, as well as taking a few minutes to sit down here and say 'Don't miss me too much, I WILL be watching and WILL be back!!' 

I always find myself getting more than a little stressed on the days when I have to get ready to go home... I panic like "do I have enough underwear?" "what shoes should I take?" "Do I need a cold weather or a rainy weather jacket?" but then I have to stop myself and realize that none of that matters. I'll be in the UK, not on the moon... If I forget something, I can always get what I need in the UK!! 
I'd packed my bags, grabbed my plushie that I ALWAYS have to take with me when I travel, and even picked up some delicious Submarine Subs on a handy Pick Up Tray - from Junk Food - because you cannot travel without snacks! I think I am ALMOST ready... Will I ever be ready?? 

I have to admit that in ALL of the chaos whilst I was packing to go, I kinda sorta forgot to finish up here... I'm already in the UK, I'm safe and happy but what the heck I'll finish this and make sure everyone knows I'm going to be on the down low for a couple of weeks!!!

Neon Catwoman

I've been being very good lately, I have behaved and been fairly prim and proper since the Halloween festivities have died down. Although sometimes we need to get our crazy out, no matter which way they come out it's a brilliant way to release your pent up energy... 
Today is just one of those crazy days, I had to get myself a little dolled up, a little different and a chance to have a release of energy, today I'm not just going to be Rudh, I'm going to the Catwoman of the future... 

The future will be totally different, neon lights will be the only colours to be seen as the earth is shrouded in darkness and everyone will live in Cyber City - a backdrop from Paparazzi - and the people are able to slink in the dark. Catwoman Rudh of the future is a slinky Black Cat - from Forest Fantasy Store - and she likes to be surrounded by the big, fluffy, Leopard kittens - thanks to the gorgeous pets from Jian. Also, because she is catwoman, she needed the hottest of futuristic outfits with something latex and neon, something that hugs my figure in all th right places - thanks to Normandy and Lunchmeat.

Giant Sandwiches & Scooby Doo Fantasies!

Every night when it comes to food I have to force myself to plan and cook something for dinner. When the hubby is out working, it's even more difficult to plan something for dinner since I can't find the mojo to plan then cook and eventually clean up all by my self... I don't mind the eating part in the middle, but it's the other stuff that makes it all seem more trying than anything else... 
Some days all I want is a sandwich... 

Sandwiches are both easy to make and delicious, PLUS there is a world of endless possibilities when it comes to sandwich fillings... When I was a teen I LOVED Corned Beef and Pickled Onion, when I was a student I LOVED Fish Finger Sanwiches with lots of HP sauce, and now that I work in a cheese shop I have a bit of an addiction to a Smoked Jalapeno Gouda Cheese with Chorizo and Salad... Honestly I could eat sandwiches for every meal, and lots of sandwiches per sitting...
I used to get jealous of Scooby Doo in the way that he could eat sandwiches, and now thanks to the Junk Food Giant Sandwich I can try to live my Scooby fantasies... I was making some delicious sandwiches, delicious Bologna Sandwiches - also from Junk Food - full of lovely fresh ingredients but once I had a plateful I got a little inspired... Scooby Doo Fantasy, here I come!!
