Rudhora the Explora

 I've decided to step away from the dark little me for a day just because I got an idea into my head for a picture I wanted and there was no way that the little demon would fit the style hehe... 

Hola I'm Rudhora the Explora and I'm here to say... We're going on an adventure today! Grab some friends and your trusty backpack willed with ropes, torches and snacks... 

We're heading to the jungle! The adventure is going to get wild and crazy, and I brought along friends with me to enjoy this wild ride LOL... My trusty Teddy Friend - a bag from Tiller - on my back, my little Iguana - named Nirvana after the pet iguana for Mark Owen in the 90s hehe - on my shoulder, and we even met a new little Tropical Friend, the toucan - in a pose from Secret Poses - and we were set for an adventure! Time to wander the Tropical Trails of the Unicorn!

Just another of Master's Discarded Dolls

Monday Morning... I had planned to do something light and cheerful yesterday when I was making sure that I had posts available to work on whilst I was supposedly "working", yet nothing ever works out exactly the way you plan it, and today my mood isn't quite what it should be. I don't feel like happy and sparkles this morning, I feel like I'm left-behind, lost and forgotten... Yesterday's news! Thrown into a forgotten room, with all of the other old dollies...

Felt like this yesterday too, and tried to hide it behind a facade of cheery bubbliness, but that didn't work out so well and I ended up crashing... HARD!  It's down to a combination of that feeling of loneliness, of not being good enough, and of pushing myself too hard, add to that things like financial concerns and homesickness, and you have a very horrible combination... I need someone to look after me, Hell tries but he's a little bit clueless and I don't really have the strength to reach out and get him to notice at the moment... Still enough of the rambling, I'm sure you didn't come here to read my woes, you came to see a pretty picture and learn about my craziness that I put into it right?!
The picture today was actually inspired by the amazing mannequins - rather than my mood - and they were a collection that I simply had to have... The Spook Show Mannequins, are a part of the Remarkable Oblivion Epiphany Gacha collection, and each of these gorgeous dolls come with their own name and seeminly their own dead doll personality... They looked perfect in this room - the only one missing is actually taking a bath in the bathroom - but before I could even sit Rudh in amongst them the idea in my head was that she was one of Master's Discarded Dolls - used and shut away, left to fade and go dusty... The room is filled with forgotten and morbid things, like her somewhat scary Nailbed, and the Broken Mirror - thanks Shiny by the way - with a subtle hint to the rooms sordid past still hanging on the wall...
Wow I've written a happy post today... Sorry about that... I guess the only thing left for me to do is try to cheer myself up a little... I know of  a song that totally fits with the nature of this post, it's one by my favourite Viking Cellists with vocals from Christina Scabbia, called S.O.S (Anything but Love)... It fits the photo, and because it is has the Viking Cellists in it, it makes me smile...

Anything that will make me smile today is a good thing, right?!

Flutterpaws caused by Hallucinations

I'm not feeling very great this morning. Mother Nature is awesome but sometimes her visits leave you feeling worn out and like crap so today I am going to have a PJ day and remain high on drugs until I feel better! 
Of course being high on drugs is great - depending on the drug of course, I am not advocating the use of anything illegal - perhaps?! - but sometimes they make you have hallucinations... 

I took a walk at the StoryBrooke Gardens this morning, and I kept thinking I was seeing adorable little kittens flying around with Butterfly wings! I thought I was imagining them anyway, until one of the touched me!!! 
These are the Flutterpaws Kittens - the Grey White being shown here - and they are available at The Gacha Garden in the Lassitude & Ennui machine. They come in a series of different designs, each with the butterfly wings, and are the perfect whimsical accessory for any fairytale being in SL!!!
So hallucinate with me, grab a kitten and let the fun begin...

Snow at Lil's

Dammit it's cold outside this morning... I'm not really complaining as I much prefer being wrapped up warm outside in the cold in the Winter than being too hot and not able to do anything about it in Summer, but dammit it got cold fast!
It's not actually snowed where I am yet, though other parts of Holland have had some, and Lil's is one of those places! Her SL place, but still... The snow has settled in her home space in SL, and she was kind enough to let me play in it!!!

Lil's home space is gorgeous, but I cannot share the secret location with you so you have to deal with just pictures hehe - there will be more to come, I promise!
For now I was so excited to be playing in the snow in my new outfit - you cannot see the pants here but the sweater is a part of the new Linda Outfit from N-Uno at Trés Chic. I was so excited that I forgot that snow is COLD!  I didn't wear a scarf or gloves - silly me - and it wasn't long before my nose and cheeks picked up that Winter time glow. You too can get that Winter Time glow, either by going out in the cold and freezing yourself, OR if you're smart you stop by Trés Chic and grab yourself the make up from [theSkinnery] called Winter Blush... It might be warmer, trust me!
I'm not sure I should be in the snow, I love the cold, but I'm not sure Gators are made for snow... Still least at Lil's I can go curl up in front of her fire to warm up... I just hope I don't get a cold now!

Heading Where It's Hazardous...

I've been so wrapped up in the drama that surrounds me lately, yet when I take a look at the bigger picture, it seems like meaningless drivel compared to what happened in Paris recently. I know that it's hardly comparable - my drama is personal and the Paris attacks were miles away - but being a European and living in a place where the country boarders are open is a little scary. I'm not suggesting that it would happen in Holland, but you can never tell, and it seemed far too easy for an attack like that to be organised! It's also not something that I can deal with, there is nothing that I can do about it and so I have to just get on with life... Thus I am left to deal with my own personal drama instead... Whoop-di-fricken-doo... I hate confrontation, and now I have to handle something with a very argumentative person. I am REALLY not looking forward to this...

So for now I am enjoying the calm before the storm, the peace before the war and I guess you could say the sanctity of my own mind before all Hell breaks loose! I'm not sure I will ever be ready for this, but today is the day I start to open my mind to the person causing the drama... Hold onto your hat Rudh Dolly, it's going to be a bumpy ride!!
I decided to take a walk to clear my head, and found that the blustery location of Hazardous is always good to clear the mind.
I picked up my friendly Ferret - a MishMish original for this month's Collabor88 - and put his warm little sweater on him before I headed out for my walk. It shows just how much my mind was distracted though, I mean the outfit from N-Uno - available now at Cosmopolitan - looks cute but it's not exactly warm hehe. Luckily a new friend of mine, Mr. Owl, caught up with me to bring me a lovely warm scarf - a lovely warm Moon Amore Cureless Scarf!
The photo that came out seems to reflect the way I feel... A little gloomy, and somewhat pessimistic, but with some lovely friends who will help me out and make me feel better... I just wish that this was over already!

Fairies are on the Menu

Waking up on Sunday morning I still feel like I'm in a dream... It's time for one of my absolute favourite shopping sales in RL today! Books by Weight! I'll be paying a small amount per kilo of books and oh my gosh the savings I've had hehe!!! 
Still right now it's time to drink my tea and wake up just a little more, so I thought why not share something dream like with you, and let you see how I'm feeling on this bright sunny Sunday morning! 

The location of my dreamlike tea party is one that I fell in love with and keep wandering back to... You should take a few minutes out of your busy day and check out the Failure to Thrive [The Gray Child] sim... It's like something straight out of my head, and it's more than pretty! 
The outfit I had on was nothing special but still kinda cute, you can't really see it too well but for those of you that are interested it's a dress from N-Uno and a wig from CATWA! 
Why not pop over and have tea with the dollies? It looks like fairies are on the menu tonight!!

Panda... he's your Father...

One last post for today and I wanted to show you something strange! Somehow - please don't ask me how, I've got no idea - it has happened again... Hell has caused us to adopt another of SL's strays... This time it's a baby panda!
What started out as Hell luring the sweet and innocent Athrun to the Dark Side, began heading them down a slippery slope until jokes about being his father actually started to mean a little more... Now I have a step son who, along with my hubby, thinks that Star Wars is the next best thing since Cake!
So please bare with me as I once again introduce you to a member of my SL Family I never knew I wanted and swore to myself that I would never again adopt more "kids"... It's time to show the world I am weak as I introduce to you my "Stepson" - that is rapidly becoming more son without the step part - Athrun "Panda" Holmes!

So happy to have you in our lives Ath, even if mine now has a little less cake in it... I count myself as fairly lucky to have someone that is willing to distract HellBone and keep him out of my way. He's also very good at entertaining HellBone with talk of Star Wars and building... But what makes me the most surprised is that when you look at the photo of the three of us, Athrun really does look a little like HellBone's offspring LOL... There is a definite family connection there!!! I mean OK sometimes he does have a little more fashion flair - obviously something he picked up from yours truly - but I just couldn't resist taking our new family photo with him and his dad looking so cute hehe...
