Bloomin' Lubberly Bubbley!

I had to go into work today, it was a MUCH shorter day than normal but still it was supposed to be my day off and I was so ready to have a lazy day off... YET the world doesn't want me to relax and even though the weather today was atrocious I got ready and went into work like a good girl...

What I'd really wanted to do was stay home, relax, read my book and maybe even take a long hot shower, since I don't have a bath at home and I'm gonna admit that I'm sad about that... 
I miss being able to have a bath, I miss sitting in the hot bubbly water feeling like I'm a lobster boiling in a cooking pot... I used to hat baths, and when I was a teenager I'd always shower before I even thought about sitting in a bath because who wanted to sit in their dirty soup right? 
Now I'm craving having a bath...

Santa's Favourite Ho Ho Ho

It's been a long day and tomorrow will only be worse, but I'm so glad it's getting closer to Christmas and getting home to see the hubby had put the tree up and added the lights made me feel even more festive... 
Though this time of year I feel like an over worked elf in a yucky retail setting, though instead of being a worker elfI got a promotion this year, and became a slightly more important worker elf... 

The naughty little elf that I am, is so far down the naughty list that she has to find a way to boost herself back up. As a slightly more important elf, there is a sure fire way, Santa knows where all the naughty girls are, and there have been a few that taught me a few little tricks as a way to make sure Santa knows I can be good at certain things... 
Bring Santa a tankard of ale, and put on a little show while he relaxes before his big day... Even better if you wait until Mrs Claus has gone to bed and you dress yourself in ribbons and step up onto the Holiday Pole Stage - from MadPea at the current round of ACCESS until January 8th - to shake yourself off the naughty list...

Rub-A-Dub-Dub... An Ice Cream Tub!

It's my day off today, and I've been sat around trying to chillax because I KNOW that I have two full days of work coming... I needed to relax and aside from some chores it was a lovely day really... 
Relaxation for me comes in the form of reading at the moment, but I did have a LOVELY long shower. I love a hot shower, and even though it looks nice and relaxing, I've never really been a bath kinda girl. I don't like the idea of sitting around in my own dirty water lol... 

Rudh on the other hand likes to have a nice, long hot bath to enjoy her Still Time - an older but brilliant backdrop from FOXCITY - lots of hot water to relax her muscles, a lovely smell as the bubbles pop and a feeling of soothing. It's also a fabulous place to have a snack... Today whilst Rudh has been relaxing in a bath, she decided on an Ice Cream Tub - from Junk Food, available until August 30th at Anthem - but she realised that you have to be quick when eating an Ice Cream in the bath as the steam melts it faster than normal...

Gifts Under the Christmas Tree

I have so much still to do, one of the biggest tasks that I stillhave to get done is the gift wrapping. I hate doing wrapping. I get gift wrap envy seeing people on social media that make perfect, beautiful gift wrappings. Mine always end up looking like they have been in a fight with a cellotape machine. 
There are lots of things to wrap and lots of things to package away, I have gifts for Mum and Dad, gifts for my sister and hubby, and plenty of gifts for the furbabies... The most important one of all, a special gift for Daddy... 

There is only ONE gift that should be the perfect present for a Daddy, and that is his favourite play thing, a babygirl in ribbons that keep her from escaping and some lights to make her glitter in the giftbox she's been all wrapped up - a gift box prop and pose from -Extra- - in under the Christmas tree... 
I hope that Daddy likes his gift, I bet he won't be able to wait until he can Unwrap Me - a gorgeous set from Lyrium - and I'm pretty sure the will love the ribbons just as much as the gift they are wrapping...

Hiding My Birthday Suit!

I MAY have mentioned this before, but Sunday's are considered bath nights in my house and have been since I was a little kid.... We don't have a bath in my RL home, so I've often lived vicariously through Rudh and lounged in a bath with lots of bubbles., but today I'm running low on energy and so a quick shower will be all I'm capable of today... 

Now I know I love having a chat with everyone, but it's a bit difficult to take you all into the shower... No one wants to see that, no one needs to see me all bare and soapy... Then I remembered... I'd found the perfect thing whilst shopping for Halloween decor, and although Halloween has been and gone, I can get my little Birthday Suit Costume on - from Canape - while I grab my soap and shower loofah to scrub my butt while we chat... Though someone apparently doesn't want me to chat, my Soapy Soap - from KitCat - in my mouth to stop me... Lucky really, considering that I mumbled a few rude words...

Light the Candles it's time for a Bath

I am so unbelievably tired at the moment, nigh on totally exhausted. The Easter holiday season brings lots of visitors to Amsterdam but it's definitely draining me, I think I need a holiday more than anything else right now... 
Since I've not got that opportunity, I'm going to have to find another way to relax. I plan to curl up under a blanket and watch an episode or two of The Big Bang Theory, but before then it's time for something nice to eat and a long hot soak in the tub... 

Honestly there feels like nothing more relaxing than a dip in the tub, I don't have one at home in RL but everytime I visit my mum and dad it's guarenteed I will take more than one LOL... 
It's the process of the thing I think... Running the water and adding the bubbles, slipping into the warm cosy depths with the only company being your bath duck - like the one I have from KitCat - and the only light being cast by the flickering candles that illuminate the room with a warm glow and often have a luxuriously delicious scent... 
It's days like these that you need to make sure you're lighting the right candles, days like today will not benefit from candles promoting happiness and good will, days like today need candles that are "People Repellent" and perfect for "One of those Fucking Days" - thank you to my new blog sponsor Aardvark for these amazing candles that are part of a "Smells Like" set. Bathing with the Duckies

Sunday night, bath night... The most soapy bubbly day of the week. Honestly, it's the most relaxing time of the week for me, after a very busy day at work. The first of the longest days that I've had since I was in the hospital, as it was my first full day back at work. I had a great day, but then now I'm home I'm feeling all the soreness in my muscles. I definitely need a bath... 

I filled my hottub for a Moment - a tub from Violetility - it was time for a slow time - a pose from FOXCITY - but that wasn't the same idea of my new little friends...

I Love Bubbles!!

Tomorrow is a somewhat important day and I'm actually going to be getting out of the house and heading into a place where I might actually get to talk to people. I've been asked to come in for some training so that I can assist with the webshop but that means I'M GOING TO SEE THE OUTSIDE WORLD!!! 
This means that tonight it's very important... I'm going to make sure that I'm ready... I need to pack my bag with a lunch and sort myself a nice outfit - since I don't have to wear my work uniform - and one more thing... BATH TIME!!!

I miss having a bath in the NL, I am stuck with only having a shower and as much as I love having a hot shower, I can't help but miss having a bath tub to lounge in... Lazing in the tub with a rubber duckie friend, I really miss that... 
Though one of the best things about the bath time though, is BUBBLES!! I LOVE Bubbles... Having a good bar of soap that would make the best bubbles is a MUST, and there's no better soap than the Ananas Wonder Soap - hence why I'd jump at the chance to do an ad campaign for the soap lol.... 
In my warm, cozy bathroom, I'm going to sit here and play with the bubbles - these amazing bubbles which are a collabortion between awesome pose makers Go&See and Cat-Noodle at the latest round of Dollholic - I love making bubbles so much that they are forming in the shapes of litle hearts!!!
