Magically Summoning A Valentine

It's Valentines Weekend, and everywhere I look it seems like there are so many couples being cute and adorably sweet, but knowing my Hubby I'm going to be doing things all by myself on Tuesday and over the rest of the Valentines weekend. I got home from work, after a stupidly long and mental work day today, and I decided to take matters into my own hands. I wanted to find myself someone who'd appreciate me, I needed to find myself a special valentine that HellBone couldn't object to... It was time to head to the store to collect a few things and work a little magic... 

There are so many good things at the store these days to prepare for  magic spell on Valentines... I had a look at the spell that I've found in one of those cheesy "Ravishing" Romance Novels - from Random.Matter at Cupid Inc - which said I needed some Valentines Candy both chocolate and love heart styles, some beautifully scented flowers and since it's something that I enjoy a variety of different Valentines coffees, since they are definitely a way to a girls heart... Then place "The Perfect Boyfriend" made from chocolate - and released by Junk Food at Cupid Inc - into a pentacle of  Love Hearts and start chanting... If the magic works, your chocolate man will become your perfect Valentine...

Time to get Wrapping...

Christmas is a week away now, and there is SO MUCH left to do... I have only just started decorating for the Holiday season and have a lot of that to do in both SL and RL, I have grocery shopping and cleaning to do, and I have about a million gifts that need wrapping. Where the heck do I start... There's a lot to do... 
I guess I'll start with the wrapping... I'll put on a few good Christmas tunes, I'll have a little bop and get covered in ribbons, glitter and cellotape... 

So many gifts to pack up... Mail Delivery - from Atelier Burgundy - has been coming every day, and I have gifts for all of my friends and family and fur babies that now need to be wrapped up... Stanley the Snowman - from friday - and a matching Scarf - from Half-Deer - for my sister, something to remind my dad of his favourite caravanning past-time - the snow globe from Dahlia at Collabor88 - though I wonder if the gift I got for HellBone is a little bit too easy to guess in it's Obvious Wrappings - from Lagom - but then again, that doesn't matter... I'm sure he will love it...

Walking in Hell's Gardens

Yesterday was a glimpse at the light, but with Halloween drawing nearer, it's appealing far too much to the little dead doll that I am, and well, my Daddy spoilt me yesterday with a Halloween Treat because I'm a spoilt little Living Dead Girl... 
It's fun having a Puppy around again, I mean my Kitten is great but this way I get out and can walk the pathways of Hell... 

So, I am in LOVE with my new puppy and kitten both of which I adopted from different people at the amazing SALEM event... My Kitten - is from Half-Deer - and my Puppy - is from TLC, both of which are available at Salem - and I've named them Trick and Treat, depending on which is behaving best, the names can be used for either at any time hehe... 
It's been so long since I wandered the halls of Hell... Luckily Daddy's apple trees are growing well, and although the fruit is off limits to most I'm sure he won't mind if I take a bite! This area of Hell is particularly pretty at this time of year, maybe because of it's location, but The Bay area is always very pretty!

The Cows are Autumn Colours too!

November is STILL Autumn, right?! It feels like the world has gone a little crazy and it went from being warm and sunny, to really cold and gray far too quickly, skipping the step of the sunny and vibrant Autumn colours. I mean the leaves kinda went a muddy brown and then dropped off without even so much as a fanfare! Luckily I have SL to enjoy the pretty Autumn Colours... 

I am super excited not only because I am surrounded by some adorable Highland Cattle on the gorgeous Isle of Cezanne, but also because this is the first of what I hope to be many posts featuring the gorgeous designs from Decoy! I LOVE this sweater, it's a Valia Crop Top from Decoy at the current round of Collabor88.
I teamed it with some shorts from Miss Chelsea, a hat - that comes with the Etienne wig from Moon - and my current favourites the Heidi Wellies from friday, and the look was just adorable!!! Aren't I cute the way I pose?!

Oh no Kitty, the Phone is Out of Order...

It's at that point for me where I've been working very hard as of late, and only have a week to go before I am able to say that I will be heading back to my homeland for some much needed time with the RL family... My countdown has started and from Sunday it's just one week to go before I head to the UK!! I really need a battery recharge... Really Really Really!! 
So in SL I'm trying to keep my chin up, and I'm finding myself flocking to anything English to make myself feel a little less homesick... Though right now I'm not sure this phone booth would allow me to call home... 

I don't know how people coped before the internet and good phone service to live in distant lands, I get so home sick and I'm lucky to be able to pick up a phone or video chat with my parents any time I want to... It would probably kill me if I couldn't do that! 
At Rosa Scotia - a gorgeous sim with lots of pretty places to explore - I wanted to make a call home, but it seems like the phone was out of service. Luckily, while I was upset there was a pretty little kitty that wanted attention and needed cuddles too - thanks to an awesome new pose collection from Secret Poses called Annie. The Annie pose set made me laugh as it features cats and my RL cat is called Anna, though she's often Annie when we're trying to get her to come to us... I had to play with Annie in world! 
Funny how a kitty, or a puppy or any animal for that matter, always has the ability to distract you from feeling sad!!
