The Sparkle of Angelic Demons

Weekends should feel like magic... Instead today has been nothing but arguements at my house in RL. I'm left feeling even more exhausted. I love my hubby but sometimes he's just too much and I want nothing more than to run away back to my true home in the UK...
At times like this I find myself reverting back into my own fantasy world and letting the pretty, sparkly, magical wonderfulness take over to hide my real feelings... It's a good indicator for me, if I'm feeling low things will be magical, if I'm happy and feeling full of energy, pictures will be darker and more dead looking... 

This time I'm magical, I'm ethereal and I'm trying to let my bad feelings flicker to the darker, back parts of my mind... This ethereal being part angel, part demon is someone that has been seen making use of the magical libraries within the Engine Room... 
She radiates power, energy and light... The Magic of Panjin

I just finished eating the dinner that I prepared and cooked for myself... I decided that I wanted something spicy since I've got a cold and I think I might have overdone it maybe more than a little... It started out a nice spicy flavour but by the end I didnt have enough in my glass to drink LOL... Serves me right I suppose... 
Though it made me have a need to share a picture that felt as hot as my dinner tasted. It needed to be red, spicy looking with a hint of magic, in just the way that my spicy dinner was magical enough to stop my nose running for a little while... I knew just the place... 

If you haven't heard of the beautiful location that is Panjin, you will definitely need to take a moment to head on over for a moment to explore. This place is serene, reverent and more than a little full of emotion, there is a subtle power to this sim that I've seldom felt on a sim in SL, but here its feels powerful. Windlights change the feeling, clouds make it darker or they clear and let the light sparkle over the beautiful red flowers...
I had to represent this feeling with my magical outfit, I wanted to allow the magic to flow through me from these beautiful and powerful settings to recharge my cystal ball...

Aquarius, A Water Sign

There is a new event on the SL grid this month which should really grab the attention of a wide range of people across the board... The fantasy lovers, the believers in the spiritual and those who celebrate their birthdays under any given starsign... This event is looking to the stars, the super Stellar, the starsigns are the theme, and as the first of the signs starting in January, the first round is Aquarius... 

Aquarius is a water sign, and the sign dates from January 20th to February 18th, it's an important sign in our household as it's HellBone's sign... 
So for Aquarius, rather than model myself on a Water Carrier, I decided to get myself under the water... I'm going to swim in the aqua waves, I'm going to bathe in the waters of the Aquarius Bath - from Violetility at Stellar - and play with my adorable new friends the Mer-Cats- from Tardfish, which I am TOTALLY in love with because I have always wanted a mer-kitty - and while underwater I might partake in a bowl of some delicious Water Bearer Cereal - from Junk Food - which just like in Spongebob manages to stay in the bowl...

The Engine Room is just the start of the Adventure!

You may know that I have a guilty pleasure in watching all different kinds of ghost hunting shows, but when I'm watching TV with my other half it can be hard to find something that we both want to see...  Dr Pimple Popper is an addiction, and we're excited about various new series, BUT we both love to watch the show Expedition Unknown with Josh Gates... All the adventures he goes on, and the archaeological aspects excite me, I've always wanted to go on a big adventure, I'd love to see some of the things that he gets to see... I'm going to let the Engine Room be the start of the journey...

I'm going to plan my journey in the warm luxury of the Clock Station - a backdrop from Synnergy - Lounge where the furniture is made from a gorgeously comfortable Barrel Set - available from Krescendo at ALPHA - and I dressed for the part, a Steampunk styled version of Indiana Jones... Ready to set off on a Steampunk Adventure - in my Art&Ko dress, with my Ministry floppy hat - people tried to warn me that it wouldn't be safe. That handling the Crystal Visions Orb - a pose prop in the full body pose set by piXit - was dangerous, but they didn't realise I'd be wearing my Barclay Hands - from Wicca's Originals - luckily the steampunk prosthetic helps me to grip the orb without threat of it's mystical powers...

Strutting like a Peacock

Now that the Midnight Order has begun, but what goes on during the daylight hours when the monsters of the Midnight Order are resting... The Midnight Order doesn't only welcome the monsters, there are faefolk and spirits that discuss the more beautiful side of the darkness... 
One of those happens to be a sparkling Goddess that prefers the company of birdlife, especially the regal peacocks, that strut and show off and, well that definitely appeals to her... 

This goddess wanders through the buildings of Korakia - a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis, available in this weekend's sales - talking to the beautiful peacocks that are strutting their stuff trying to outdo her in the glamour stakes...
Unfortunately for the birds, there is nothing that can rival the goddess for glamour... From her Shattering Sun Halo - from Oblivis  at Midnight Order - to her Hellebore decorated horns - from Quills & Curiosities - and her Mirabel Circlet - from kosmii at Midnight Order - are status symbols, whilst her silk dress - from Petrichor and ERSCH - and flowing cape - part of a set from Aii at Midnight Order - the goddess definitel stands out from the crowd of birds...

In the Castle at the Midnight Hour

Midnight is often referred to as the Witching Hour and it's the time when the dark things are supposed to be more active. As a dark little monster myself, I hate to admit that in RL I tend to find myself falling asleep at that time but I think Rudh could keep herself awake enough to indulge in the past-times of those that live for the Witching Hour. 

Dressed up in her finest, a beautiful "Capriccio" Dress - from toksik at Midnight Order - she wanders down the Castle Stairs, heading towards a library to find something new to read. Balancing the "Globus Satanas" - from kosmii - her devious little orb that marks her rank as as high ranking demoness in one hand, and in the other an "Eternal Damnation Chalice" - from sacrilege - full of some delicious fresh red juice. Stretching her Amorous Demon Wings - a beautiful pair from Aii & Ego - fluttering the feathers as she darts down the drafty halls...
