OOOOOH IT'S COMING... The air is scented with the smells of luxury shampoos, and the bubbles dance in the breeze... The stylists are straightening, curling and dyeing the last of the wigs... HAIR FAIR IS OPENING TOMORROW - Saturday August 17th 2019 - and although smaller than previous years it seems like this one will be EPIC!
The day before the opening, I tend to run around there like a crazy person - as I'm sure many of the lucky bloggers that are allowed early access tend to do - and grab as much as I can, but I always make time to get bald and spread the excitement of the event that's coming...
Hair Fair 2019 is one of the longest running annual events in SL... I remember being super excited even in my earliest days for Hair Fair, a chance to buy TONS of hair from designers that I knew, and some that I didn't while raising money and awareness for an amazing cause. Things have changed a little since then, I'm now honoured to feel a little like part of their press team, and I will do anything I can to support the organizers and designers that participate...
Hair Fair SL has always been dedicated to raising funds and awareness for the RL Charity that is Wigs for Kids - an organization which creates wigs for children that have for one reason or another lost their hair.
Such a worthy cause, for the next two weeks from tomorrow until September 1st, you can get your hands on some adorable new hairstyles that will help hundreds of children find the confidence that they lost along with their hair! It's been a long, stressful couple of weeks. I've been working my RL ass off and so today I've been banned from doing ANYTHING much besides taking pictures and relaxing. My hubby and mother have been telling me off if they see me doing anything remotely like work! Blogging is the only thing that's allowed, and I'm actually really OK with that!
There's lots of fun things happening... This weekend is HAIR FAIR, and ECLIPSE IS BACK!!!
First though I have to fight off all of those people that want my attention, and Rudh has to keep the pesky beasts away...
Trapped in the tower, now that "The King is dead" and she's stolen the crown due to her own devious good fortune, Rudh is having to defend the tower until her evil reinforcements arrive to protect her... Unfortunately Habada the Puppy Pilot and his buddies have other ideas... They are taking back the kingdom for the good guys!!!
Anyway, the reason for this post is to tell you that ECLIPSE IS BACK!!! I AM SO EXCITED, it's been a long hot couple of months but as October draws nearer, Eclipse is here to remind us that October Never Dies!!

Well it's Sunday, and the weekend is almost over, I feel like I should be relaxed but actually the thought of going to work tomorrow is filling me with dread, I'm FAR too tired and a holiday seems like the best thing right now. I feel like I'm not on the planet anymore, like my head is floating in space and there's nothing in it but clouds of dust!
In fact if you could put my feelings into an image it would be exactly like this right... A look of emptiness on my face and the swirling of stars around in my mind! I'm lost in space, which I'll admit is never a good place to find me since I have more than a little fear of aliens!

Last night was a nightmare. My brand new 8 month old computer took a shit and broke down on me, sending me into a panic attack... It resulted in some frantic phone calls to the company we bought it from and they shipped me a new motherboard to test things out. I'm finally able to get back online, and PHEW, it feels good... I was majorly panicked for a little while...
Now I'm in a damn good mood and I really feel like dancing, not just any dancing, I'm going to be dancing in a fantasy garden, letting the breeze catch my hair as I pick some pretty flowers!
I'm a dancing Fawn in the Fae Forest, skipping through the sunlight and picking bunches of Chicory and singing a happy little tune to myself!
My ears, legs and tail are a VERY old outfit from Alchemy - it was a gacha release that I've been waiting all this time to find the perfect photo for - but the reason I got so fantasied some stuff was because of the gorgeous horns and veil combination that is a collaboration between MuggleBorn and Inner Demons for the current round of Level!

A while ago, due to the extreme heat wave that was happening in my little part of the world, the Goddess of Life made an emergency call out to her sister. The celestial call took a while to reach the Goddess of Water in the dark caves under the mountains of the Lost Unicorn, but once it did it took a mere matter of moments until the skies opened up and rain began to rain.. Slowly at first and the torrential downpours to soak the parched earth, while the Goddess of Water whipped up the water within the cave to a frenzy!
This is another one of those outfits that I was in love with the moment that I saw it, but due to the CURELESS release draining my wallet it took me a little longer to get my hands on it... It's such a pretty outfit for those of us out there that love fantasy fashion.
It's a gorgeous gacha collection from Moon Amore called Liquid Soul, and it was or could be is still available at The Epiphany, although I cannot be sure if it's WAS or IS since I cannot find a closing date anywhere!

So for a lazy Sunday I did a few chores, got a few photos ready to post at a later date and then decided to have a little me time... I am one of those people that loves going to a coffee house, on my own, with a good book and sitting to have a nice cup of fancy coffee that I couldn't make myself at home! One of those fancy frappucinos with LOTS of whipped cream!
Heading out in search of coffee I wound up at the gorgeous little Burrow Coffee Co coffee bar, and found that it's not just the coffee that is delicious here...
They have a very delicious looking barista too... He looks strangely familiar, and he makes a damn good cup of coffee. Wasn't sure which was more delicious the coffee or the maker of it! Geez if Jason Momoa started selling coffee I know where I'd be going EVERY TIME I needed a hit of caffeine lol...
Luckily while I was getting ready for going out for coffee I decided to wear an adorable new outfit from the hunt that is being held at Witchwood - the home of Petite Mort and Oubliette. BALLS BALLS BALLS... That's the best way to describe how I feel right now... I feel like BALLS! Instead of letting myself wallow in the feeling of bleh and unhappiness though I am turning that balls feeling into one of my favourite childhood memories. I used to love when I was able to play in a ball pit at the local indoor play yard when I was a kid. I'd dive right on in and hide until someone came in to drag me out!
So when I saw this new backdrop from [VOZ] - called Ocean Ball Pool - I knew I would be ridding myself of this feeling of unhappy balls and replace it with a feeling of good ones... I'm going to have a "Lazy Day" - thanks to a pose from Secret Poses - and just lay here in them... I only hope no one jumps in to join me and ends up squashing me like a pancake!
