The Faun in the Secret Garden

Today is the opening of the Fantasy Faire, a HUGE 20 sim event to raise money for Race for Life - the cancer charity - one of the biggest fantasy events that takes over the grid every year... Quests and shopping and parties that allow the fae folk to live a little more vibrantly... 
Although I haven't been able to get in to check out the pretty sims yet, the pretty little Faun in me decided to dance around in her own little Secret Garden and make herself pretty for the fun... 

It's Cake Day in the Synnergy Secret Garden... Why is is secret you ask, well that may be due to the fact that it's only known about by the Fae Folk, but they try hard to keep it a secret because although it looks pretty, it can be the site of much debauchery. That pretty metal butterfly in the corner isn't just a pretty sculpture - it's actually the Violetility "Butterfly Cross" - and the ropes hanging from it are not just beautifully tied decor - those are the Evil Baby "Sakura Blossom Set" which should be worn as accessories, but is so pretty I couldn't resist using it for decor! - those are the playthings of the debauched fae folk... If only we can keep the Birdy Turdies - from Tardfish that I have added an extra close-up of to get a better look at in the picture below - and the Butterflies - from MishMish - from seeing the naughtiness... 
Anyway, once the little faun - who is using the amazing legs and ears from Quills & Curiosities at Fantasy Faire's Bassett Town - dressed herself up in vines and flowers, ready to enjoy the party time of the Faire...

Sundaes aren't JUST for Sundays!

I know that this weekend is all about chocolate and lots of eggs, but sometimes there is a need for something with a little more substance... Not much substance, I mean it is chocolate weekend but MUCH more than just chocolate perhaps... Another of life's most important food sources... ICE CREAM! I'll be nic and share my favourite recipe with you, it combines all five of the most important food groups...

Take one of the five most important food group items, dairy, 6 HUGE balls of ice cream in varying flavours should be enough. I like to vary the flavours, two in vanilla - it's the only way tha vanilla should be a thing hehe - two in strawberry and two in chocolate - ice creams made by Junk Food. Once they are in a bowl, liberally douse them in some sticky, drippy syrup, add some MORE dairy in the form of a HUGE dollop of whipped cream, then add some chopped nuts, cherries and a couple of bananas for that fruity goodness and as the final of the important five food items sprinkle with Sprinkles!!

Hunting and Toasting Marshmallows

If you go down to the woods today, you'd better make sure it's the Witchwood... There's lots of awesome things to see and tickets for a festival... In each of the tickets you'll find, goodies stashed from outta the mind, of the awesome designer behind Petite Mort and Oubliette! 

(BTW, I sang that to myself while I was writing it to the song about a Teddybears Picnic LOL, I'm so lame!)

Bohemian Spring

A few days ago, the little living dead doll in me went Easter Egg Hunting over at the Witchwood sim... It was an adorably fun little hunt, with some very pretty spring time clothes and accessories from the stores that Witchwood calls home... Both Petite Mort and Oubliette can be found here, so you know you're going to be able to find some adorable bohemian and witchy attire!

I couldn't resist a couple of pieces from this adorable collection, I HAD to share them with you, there was no stopping me... The collection is made up of 10 items ranging from shorts and tops, to skirts and bikinis, with a couple of accessories thrown in for good measure. Each hunt item is priced between 10 - 20L, so it won't break the bank and you will have a new Spring wardrobe, but while you're there, don't forget that the stores are having a sale too!

Necrosis at Winter's End

Necrosis has opened today... The first day of the Winter's End and all of the little darkly devious little Necrosis store owners have come together to bring us some dark little delights for the start of the spring... There's lots of lovely devious little things... I found myself a pretty little outfit and then had a really good idea, I was going to show off my outfit while doing a little Easter Egg hunting... 

So once I was dressed in my first of many Necrosis outfits, I went for a little Easter Egg Hunt at Witchwood - home of Petite Mort and Oubliette, I'll share more about that in another post - but there's lots of lovely eggs with some awesome goodies to find!

Wandering through Witchwood

I love a good Lazy Sunday... The kind where you can laze around and do a few chores or read a book all day... It's what Sundays were made for and I love it whenever I get the chance to use those days somewhat unwisely... Spending the whole day reading and hiding under a warm cosy blanket! 
On the off chance though, you decide to crawl out of hiding to go do things where you may find people... I have a suggestion... The Witchwood Boho Bliss Hunt!!! Witchwood is the home of Petite Mort and Oubliette, and this hunt showcases the best of both of these brands... 

It was lovely to wander through the trees in this beautiful shopping location and explore the hidden corners while trying to find something pretty that I needed to add to my wardrobe.

I'll take a Frappucino and the Barista Please?

So for a lazy Sunday I did a few chores, got a few photos ready to post at a later date and then decided to have a little me time... I am one of those people that loves going to a coffee house, on my own, with a good book and sitting to have a nice cup of fancy coffee that I couldn't make myself at home! One of those fancy frappucinos with LOTS of whipped cream!
Heading out in search of coffee I wound up at the gorgeous little Burrow Coffee Co coffee bar, and found that it's not just the coffee that is delicious here... 

They have a very delicious looking barista too... He looks strangely familiar, and he makes a damn good cup of coffee. Wasn't sure which was more delicious the coffee or the maker of it! Geez if Jason Momoa started selling coffee I know where I'd be going EVERY TIME I needed a hit of caffeine lol... 
Luckily while I was getting ready for going out for coffee I decided to wear an adorable new outfit from the hunt that is being held at Witchwood - the home of Petite Mort and Oubliette. I'm a Free Spirit

It's Easter Weekend, but as I've told you before I'm not really into the Easter Holiday. I really would rather fast forward to Halloween now. Skip all that warm weather Summer stuff and find the cooler times. I think that my mood is matching my wardrobe today, the outfit is something that can be pretty Spring wear, but I guess I'm just in an Autumn Mood today hence why it looks a little Autumnal... 

This outfit seemed like the perfect outfit to go out exploring in - as a side note I went to explore at Erebos Harbor, it's so pretty. It looks casual and comfortable as well as being pretty and cute for all seasons... Take off the Scarf and Cardigan, SUMMER. Add some tights, WINTER. Although it's perfect for Spring and Autumn exactly the way it is!

Time for a Tea Party!

Spring is coming... Spring is a time of change, a season of new beginnings, and I guess that could be a good time to start on my Grand Adventure - yes there it is again, although I'm still not sure where it will take me...
Honestly I love spring, it's my second favourite season - after autumn - and one of the main reasons for this is the abundance of flowers! I've always loved flowers. My first word as a kid, so my mum always tells me, was "fleur-di-leur", which I'm told was always in reference to flowers! 

So when I was able to get my hands on this AMAZING dress, I knew I would be doing something pretty, girlie and with a touch of spring! I think I achieved what I'd hoped for, and I LOVE IT!!
Though I guess I should say, this is my second Look of the Day?!
Taken in the gardens of Witchwood, this picture is actually in a location of the store that I'm wearing. The dress is a new release from Oubliette - for January's round of SWANK - called Wicca Maxi Dress, and these dresses are available in both light and dark lace variations with some pretty colour combinations. Such a pretty dress for a spring time party... Maybe a Tea Party?! OOOH I want a Tea Party now!! Anyone for a spot of tea?
