Being a woman can and does often have it's privileges... We get the miracle of childbirth, the amazing ability to become a superwoman with the ability to hear things we aren't meant to hear and see things we aren't meant to see, and heck even in SL women have more... Ask those men into fashion about shopping and I guarantee they will complain about how many events cater to women more than men! Yet one of the biggest downsides to being a woman is our monthly visit from mother nature... I'm not going to talk about it too much - I don't want any male readers to get squeamish, as I know that there are some people who still do - but seriously, you'd think in this day and age when cures are being sought for EVERYTHING, that someone somewhere could find a cure for period pain?! PLEASE?! I want to curl up and cry... I'll let Rudh do the crying for me though...
LOL Never do I look this glamorous when I do cry!! There's not enough redness, puffiness, runny nosing going on here, and she is far too pretty even when she's like me should be in a foetal position LOL... Rudh though cannot help it, she was made this way... Barbie wouldn't look like a mess when she cried and so neither will Rudh LOL... Moping at the windows - of a location that happens to be Dreams Garden - she looks the epitome of vintage Hollywood glamour. Draped in her gorgeous black silk Open Robe - from tres blah - her inky mascara tears soak her cheeks - thanks to Izzie's tears appliers, which yes can be used on LOGO heads obviously! I love everything about this look - seeing Rudh cry makes me feel a little better, is that weird?! - but my absolute favourite piece is this amazing necklace from random.Matter. The Tegrin "Crybaby" necklace is just awesome, and it makes me smile to think that I now have necklaces of doll hands, feet and even faces hehe... Call me crazy but it I just love that kinda thing! These necklaces can be bought at the new Dreamful event - which is a mixture of stuff for adults and kiddies - until July 22nd, and if you aren't interested in my chosen dolly face there are others to choose from so don't let the tears pass you by!!

It's time to Rock'n'Roll... Back to work again with my second, SL based, job today after a lovely long week of not having to think about working in SL... I'm actually excited, I LOVE my SL based job, it's awesome to be able to combine my hobby and RL money and something I always wanted to have happen! It does mean, however, that today is a 12-hour work day for me but hey I can sleep in tomorrow and plan on doing exactly that... I'm excited and happy, let's enjoy today shall we?! Anyone bringing me drama is in for a HUGE ass-whoopin' lol... Time for something a little crazy...

I've been creative as of late, over the weekend I took LOTS and LOTS of pictures and have so much choice over what to blog I am kinda spoilt. It's hard to make these kinda choices at the moment, I mean I have nothing in particular that I feel the need to ramble and rant on about this morning, so I can just choose any of the pretty and hope that you all like it too! SO this morning, it's something pretty, something random and something that for me feels like a little piece of art... I LOVE the picture that I've decided to share with you this morning... It's another cursed forest fae look - similar to the Flowers for a Dead Thing Fae from a few weeks ago...
This fae is all about the little friend she wears on her arm... What started with a look created by a Gift of the Guardians - yes the Gacha Event - from Static, grew and blossomed into the evil sprite you see before you now... The Caterpillar is a release from Static, as I said before, for the Gacha Guardians. Play their machine 10 times and you will be given a key to unlock this adorable little set - each caterpillar style is available as head or arm wear, and although the machine hands out singles, the Gift of the Guardians is a pair! The flowers in her hair are by one of my absolute favourite flower makers in SL... LODE have in my opinion some of the best flowers available, and these Wild Roses match perfectly with the colours of my new caterpillar friend... As the CEO of the company in Holland that I work for recently announced, "the UK never wanted to
fully belong and has, more and more, become the 51st state of
America." A not so subtle nod to his views about the recent Brexit - that I may have mentioned before has given me even more of an ostracised feeling at work... Today it's actually worked in my favour - I was already feeling crappy with a summertime cold, but hey as it's a holiday in America and as we're a "state" I'm working at home LOL... I'm going to enjoy today... Even though the friendly rivalry is showing through LOL - I've already told my MC brother Kris I blame him entirely for wasting all that good tea, and that we should be the ones who are lucky as our plan to let America think it beat us was really just a great smoke screen for the fact that we were looking for an easy to break-up LOL... Of course, I don't mean it in a bad way... It's just a little bit of friendly teasing, and to show I care about my American Friends and Family, I'm going to set up a little party and wear Patriotic Colours...
Even if they won't understand it, because I spelt Colour properly LOL... OK OK I'm done with the making jokes... I don't mean it to seem bad, as I already said I love my American Friends and Family, and feel very lucky to have had SL bring us all together in one place like it has! The party is set with lots of yummy foods - mostly from Lost Junction's kitchen - but I had to include something for my British self, so Fish'n'Chips were a must! BUT I did make the effort and wear the most American pants I could find... These, as we Brits would call them, "Dungarees" are available from WONDERLOST at the new round of the Suicide Dollz. I love the shape of these pants, and the textures are great - there are more to choose from than just the American version that I am wearing here by the way - PLUS if you haven't heard of WONDERLOST then you should check out their store... Today is just one of those days... I feel like doing NOTHING and even the thought of moving is making my head hurt a little... I don't know why! Perhaps I slept too long, or too deeply or something but waking up seems to be something that I am having real trouble doing LOL... Still least that means I can sit back and enjoy Rudh for a while - no distractions today, just chillaxing - and that means plenty of time to catch up on the photography that I have been meaning to get done!! Pretty pictures seem to have no trouble flowing out of me today... Maybe I should take pictures when I am tired more often?! It's the making lists of what I'm wearing part that is causing my brain to fry lol...
This is one of those pretty pictures that I've been able to take... I really love this picture! It's simple and pretty, and the outfit is girlie and cute while still being a subtle amount of sexy... It's a pull together of a variety of things - shoes from Essenz, jeans from Blueberry, and a very cute top from Petite Mort. It was the top in fact that inspired this outfit to come together so nicely. The top is part of an outfit collection from Petite Mort, which you can still get your hands on at the Ferosh event until July 22nd - within the collection you will find these awesome Chiffon Halter Tops as well as Leather Jackets and Jeans! There are so many pieces in various colours and designs to mix and match!!! Let's face it, we all love mix and match sets, the pieces that don't only work with one outfit but can be made to fit your own personal style! It's story time in Rudhland... I've woken up feeling awesome today. The sun is shining and there is a lovely breeze... HellBone will be out ALL DAY so I have plenty of time to do the things that I love doing, meaning pictures will be taken and shopping will be done, BUT right now let me tell you a story... A somewhat dirty little story hehe... On a warm Summers day a little like today, only perhaps a little bit warmer as the weather in Holland looks like it's about to pour with rain, there was a very sexy looking lumberjack taking his beloved dog for a walk in the forest... This man enjoyed nothing more than living a simple - Redneck - lifestyle, one where he worked with his hands chopping trees and tinkering with his motorbike. She was the only woman he needed, strong, independent and always ready to take him for the ride of his life...
Whilst out on their walk - a pose prop called "Let's Go Friend" from Come Soon Poses at Men Only Monthly - the lumberjack spotted something that would cause his heart to start racing... A different kind of acceleration than he usually found while out on his bike, a racing caused by the sight of a scantily clad stranger soaking her feet in the cool stream that ran through his forest. A hiker that had wandered off the beaten track, getting herself very lost in the process... Her boots long forgotten as she soaked her tired feet in the cool stream, screaming as a large, and previously unnoticed, Labrador ran through the water beside her... That my friends is where the sweet story ends and the set up becomes more like a bad plot for a porno... The lonely hiker needed assistance in finding her way back to the track, and she was willing to get it by any means necessary... Noticing the way that the lumberjack was looking at her, it became far too simple to get the help she wanted, but she was also a little opportunistic and wasn't about to waste an opportunity to help a man so obviously in need! Before our story ends - here comes the mature content - that scantily clad hiker had lead our hero to an abandoned brick building, and against "The Wall" - a couple pose from Signature Pose -had shown him there were better rides than his trusty motorbike!
Shoes and clothes were replaced, a sweat was making their skin glisten in the setting sun and finally as the lumberjack watched her walk into the sunset. As her hips swayed from left to right, he couldn't help notice there was just a little more wood in the forest that night!! LOL, I'm random I know but hey a girl needs to entertain herself sometimes, and if writing the plot of a really bad porno doesn't help me share my pictures, then I'm stumped LOL... I got to go into Amsterdam yesterday in RL... I love being able to head into town and see the sights... I STILL feel like a tourist even though as of today I've lived in Holland for 6 years! Yep, today's my Moved-To-Holland-iversary! I'm still never sure how I totally feel about living here, I don't entirely feel like I belong, and there are so many things that still feel foreign but at least aft my post about the Brexit I know that I am not alone in that feeling! I will always be a British person... I'm not going to turn my back on the UK just because of them leaving the EU, and yes I KNOW I am on a roll talking about it again but I have my reasons and they are more than just to rant OK... LOL... Basics of the ramble today are that I had an AMAZING item of clothing and found a VERY cool location to use as a photography backdrop, if you're good and stay out of the way of the RolePlaying that is!!!
Let's start with the location... As I said this is a Role Play sim... The team behind the sim are generous enough to allow access to the public, but there are rules and those rules involve either the wearing of Victorian style Period costume OR the OOC Observer Tag, which they give out for free to those that find it! It's easy to find, just click the board, but don't forget to have it on before you teleport down to the main ground level... Once you get down there though WOW! Fogs End is a historical peek into London in the by-gone days - at least that is how it seems to be - and it is beautiful!! So worth taking a look at! The reason I needed a good location, and the fact that the historical setting kinda fit so well, was all due to this amazing corset... The Alexis Corset from erratic is not a new release, but I was cruising through the marketplace and there it was... It was love at first sight and a gift from a very sweet Fairy God Father! It can be worn with or without the spinal cord showing - I mean there is a panel that covers the innards up hehe - and it comes in a range of colours, but you know me I had to share the inner workings of me, after I spent time choosing the perfect nude colour!! It doesn't come with anything to cover your nipnips though, BUT it looked awesome with another erratic set - the Delice Lingerie, which I am wearing in black - and my favourite black leather Rene Pants from Blueberry!! Vintage-ISH glamour, in a mysterious setting... That's just how I feel today, or right now at least LOL...
