A Clutter Gang of Cats!

We had heard that there have been some unsavory types lurking around in the rubble outside of the Midnight Order, whilst the magical and regal reside within... They darent venture out the doors, not only is it rubble there is falling buildings and fire, but the worst threat is the dangerous Black Gang Cats Biker club that patrol the streets looking for trouble... 

The area around the Midnight Order has been nicknamed The Barrens - which is actually a backdrop by Synnergy.Tavis - that have become an almost apocalyptic wasteland, controlled by the Black Gang Cats - a series of models by D-LAB, available until August 20th at Midnight Order. 
The leader of the Black Cats Gang arms herself with axes made of street rubble, and she carries chains for capturing those magicals that dare leave the Order...

This is Fine!

It's April Fools Day and today I wanted to do something to show off how much of an April Fool I could be... It's hard to believe that we're in the fourth month of the year and therefore a quarter of the way through already... It is the busiest season for me at work, and I'm feeling overworked, underpaid and overworked even more... I cannot handle rude, arrogant customers that let their children run wild and eat tasting samples like they are going out of fashion... I know I complain a lot about work right now, and you may not believe that I LOVE my job, I just wish I could do it without the people involved lol... 

Some of you may know that I work in a cheese shop in the middle of Amsterdam, I'm not ashamed to admit it, and I LOVE what I do... There are times though when my colleagues will tell you that I have trouble controlling my expressions and end up plastering what we like to call my "Minion Face" - a HUGE goofy smile - on my lips... 
I am exhausted, frustrated and wanting to run away, but all of that is buried deep inside and on the outside "This is Fine" - just like the set from MadPea, available until April 5th at equal10 - I'm going to just work my butt off and try to make things work and no-one will know that I feel bad on the inside... 
The drama in my mind aside I got some SUPER exciting news the other day and I'm finally able to share it since everything is set in place... I CAN TELL YOU THAT I'M NOW OFFICIALLY BLOGGING FOR MADPEA!!!!! I newarly fell of my chair a few days ago when I saw the message, but now I'm just dancing on clouds abou it.. YAY N STUFF!!!

The Day After Christmas...

It's Boxing Day... The day after Christmas and honestly, although the festivities of yesterday were lovely, this is actually the day I look forward to more than any as it's the day when you get to wallow in the festivities, to relax and enjoy your gifts, watch some terrible movies and eat a mountain of delicious leftovers. As Andy Rooney - an American Radio Writer - once said "One of the most glorious messes in the world is the mess created in the living room on Christmas Day. Don't clean it up too quickly" and I totally and utterly agree with him...

I've had a wonderfully lazy day today. I chillaxed with the classic Mary Poppins movie on the BBC, I took a closer look at all my amazing presents - I got the most amazing handbag, a comfy pair of boots and a super cute Build-a-Bear plushie that's dressed like Ursula, amongst other things - and I cooked some delicious things with the turkey leftovers that will last us until New Year! Today was perfect, a far cry from the way I felt this time last yeaar, and honestly I totally needed this... 
Now, I'm going to curl up surrounded by tons of wrapping mess - from Lagom - in my comfy jammies - like the Felicity Lounge Set from DECOY - and a super soft fluffy robe like coat - from miss chelsea - all "cozy" - thanks to a couple pose from -Extra- that works well with or without the other person - to read a book and play with my new stuff...
