The Mask of the Fae

The festive season is upon us, we are heading rapidly on a slippery slope downhill towards the most colourful, wonderful, sparkly time of the year and I want to make sure that I get right into the swing of it... It's alreday the third day of advent, the magic has been sparkling in the air and there are some very special fae folk working for the big man in red that are decorating the world with rainbow glitter... 

Today one of the little forest fae was spotted in the woods watching the snowflakes fall, foating on the breeze between the trees in the narnia like forest glade... 
Her wand in hand as she's crafting the flakes that will eventually paint the entire world white... At this time of year, it's customary for the fae to hide their faces in masks - like the one from Boutique #187 at the current round of SABBATH until December 11th - this keeps their identities hidden from the Krampus as he staks through the woods, for fear he mistakes them for bad little children...

The last of the Spring Magic...

It's the weekend, well it's Friday at least, and although I don't have to work my SL job this weekend I'd agreed that I would cover a few hours working in the cheese shop tomorrow. I'm far too nice sometimes, I swear?! When will I learn to say no?! 
Still because it's Friday and I feel happy, it's a fairytale time! No I won't be launching into a made up fairytale today but I will be sharing with you the newest in my fairy family... This one is a flower fairy with a naughty little look that makes me smile! 

Don't faint, she's wearing pink, but she's a spring fae... Completing the last of her work before the Summer fae come in and take over at the Lost Unicorn! I also really loved the colours in this picture, so maybe pink is something I'm learning to love... Least it's not purple! 
I want to tell you all about this adorable outfit, it's going to be a look of the day again, kinda, but where to start! 
Let's start with the bodysuit, and work up from there hehe... The bodysuit is one I grabbed in a Saturday Sale gone by I think?! It's a Galaxias Cinched Bodysuit from CURELESS, and YES I chose to wear it in a neon pink colour even though it comes with a huge collection of different options. Moving up a little, I have some of the most gorgeous fairy wings that I've found in a long time in SL, these gorgeous Shimmer Fairy Wings from Lovely Alien, they give me that real pretty Fae touch. The addition of a cute pair of Daisy Glasses from Fetch, and a gorgeous Apis Pendant - from FIKA - complete with honey and a bee finished off the look so I could work my magic in the forest before the Summer Fairies took over. 
Now the necklace is adorable, but its kinda small in the main picture, so I'm being good and adding a close up just to show off those little details more clearly!

My Sister and her Hogwarts!

I know that I said I wouldn't be around much over the Christmas break, but you know how it is... You sit there relaxing and suddenly it's like you get an itch... I NEEDED to fill some of my blogging addiction and needed to release a bit of that pent up bloggeritis! 
I'm in the UK now, back with family and having a wonderfully relaxing time of it too. Just taking time out to enjoy the company and familiarity of home. Yet my sister and I were flicking through the TV channels, wondering what to watch and she being a die hard Harry Potter fan was dismayed to know that I've never actually watched - or read for that matter - a single Harry Potter anything... 
I had however, stashed a blog post away ready to post sometime when the feeling got to me, so this one I'm dedicating to my RL lil sister, Sophie!

Soph is such a die-hard fan she can tell me anything about anything Harry Potter related - I guess a little like I am with Tolkein. 
She'd be a student of the Hufflepuff house, although I'm sure if we're talking about the RL me I may be there too - that's the one with the Badger right?! Rudh on the other hand would be a Slytherine... Without question. 
We had a party in SL recently that was Harry Potter themed. Being a bit resourceful, and not wanting to spend a lot on a Harry Potter based uniform, I found the cutest uniform from Zenith. Adding a pair of socks in the matching shade of green, as well as some bad girl accessories like a Garter belt full of money and a cigarette, it made Rudh really ready for her trip to Hogwarts. 
Only problem was, she wasn't counting on the fact that she would be pulled up on stage at Elysion and asked to perform for the ghostly crowd... Levitation... Leviosa right?

Honey for Pooh

Tomorrow is a special day at Hair Fair, and I will be able to share that with you then but for today, I wanted to take some time out and revert to something a little childish... 
Hair Fair is all about raising money for the children in need of wigs due to circumstances beyond their control... So I think it's apt that I do something a child would appreciate, just this once! Of course, it has to be Disney related... 

I mentioned before that my mother used to read me fantasy stories, but it was my father that actually introduced me to Winnie the Pooh. 
I was at a little Gacha event called The Gacha Guardians, where I stumbled across this adorable gacha set by comet, the 100 Acre Wood Gacha that is complete with Pooh, Piglet and if you're very lucky Eeyore! 
Now to attract the bees and make some more honey for Pooh, I'm wearing a pretty Sunflower in my hair - a new hair from Wasabi Pills for this year's Hair Fair!!

At a Lost Junction in my Inventory...

Good morning world! It's a brand new day, and I'm going to kick butt and take names today... As soon as I've had my coffee that is. 
I'm going to roll my sleeves up and get busy taking some pictures and sorting through my vast hoard. The warehouse I store my SL inventory in was once like a cavern, now it's full of so much stuff that the echo stopped answering back... It's time for a spring clean!! So, coffee in hand, I park myself with within a possible new look office for me, and open the first of many different "boxes"!

My new stuff is definitely something that will need to find a place in my newly tidied hoard - if I don't leave it out that is - because it's just so cute! Also you should be considering yourselves lucky because I'm in my PJs still - brand new Pjs from tres blah at that - not that it's anything new but hey, Jammie shot LOL... 
One of the worst folders in my hoard is a folder marked "Arcade!"... It's luckily been sorted by months that The Arcade has been open but there is a LOT of stuff that I just haven't put away... It's so bad that I have even forgotten what some of it is?! I mean OK the stuff I have in the picture above is mostly from Lost Junction - the desk, chair, and majority of the décor are all Lost Junction creations - but that's one collection, in one folder of the dreaded "Arcade" folder... 
Even my poor Guinea Dino - from comet, isn't he freaking cute?! - keeps giving me weird looks as I cautiously open a new box... 
I may be here a while people, if you don't hear from me in a few days, send a rescue team hehe...
