Summer seems to have come and gone here at the moment, not that I am complaining because I am really not someone that enjoys the heat but temperatures have cooled a little and the skies overhead are often more of a greyish than brilliant blue. Although I don't really like hot, I do like sunshine - almost as much as I love the rain - and so I do feel a little sad it's gone already. I love that soft spring sunshine...
Luckily SL can be as sunny or rainy as we want it to be. When we want hot feeling weather, there are ways to do that, when we want rain there are ways to do that too... I guess at least where the sunshine is concerned this works for me, I get the pretty sunshine without being too hot LOL...
I don't have a figure like Rudh that I could show off when it gets hot in RL, and it's times like that when you want to be wearing as little clothing as possible LOL... So when I I feel too hot in RL the last thing I want to do is see my barbie doll in something too heavy looking LOL... That's about the time Rudh is stripped off... Though OK she's barely dressed a lot anyway...
In this particular case I found an outfit that was so soft and light looking that I couldn't resist wearing it in the hot weather we'd had in RL recently... It's an outfit from Wonderlost called Olivia and the Boho pieces are mix and match so you can buy these gorgeous printed skirts and the loose tied tops as seperates meaning you can mix and match your colours! I will admit though that these are available until the end of today at The Secret Affair, but hopefully they will be available in the mainstore before to long too!
I kept my accessories very Boho, wearing a Celeste Wig from Truth with a matching Coin Choker from Kibitz and finished off with a large beaded Cresent Talisman Necklace from (Yummy), so my look was complete...
Then I just needed somewhere to explore... Somewhere cool and shady, yet with a beachy refeshing breeze perhaps... That's when I ended up at It all starts with a Smile... A gorgeous tropical beach bar and jungle style location... PERFECT for a boho Rudh to laze around in and explore...

This weekend sees the closing of one of Second Life's BIGGEST hair events... Hair Fair 2016 will close it's doors for the year on July 31st with a special last day of shopping...
The last day of Hair Fair has always been a Bandana Day, in which shopping patrons are asked to throw off their SL wigs and instead wear a Bandana... While you were perusing the latest styles at the Hair Fair, you may have noticed the Bandana Booths. These are filled with a wonderful array of Bandanas in many different styles, colours and accessories, to fulfil anyone's chosen desire. Each of these is available for the low price of 50L, with 100% of the profits being donated straight to the charity - Wigs for Kids.
I'm going to be wearing my Bandana for the day... So I throw off my own SL wig and ask if you will perhaps do the same...
The bandana that I chose was one of the creations by LeLutka, who have added a big floppy sun hat to give the bandana just a little bit of vintage glamour... Least that was how it felt when I was fully dress and wearing a super cute outfit that I pulled together.
To compliment my bandana I chose to wear a a new Lulu Leather Jacket that is available from Addams at the latest round of Uber, with a pair of worn looking Addams jeans and some super cute chocolate coloured Brown Eyed Girl Boots by Entice - available now at Lost & Found.
It felt like the perfect outfit to go exploring in, maybe it was me channelling my inner Indiana Jones - the look is a bit reminiscent of that or am I wrong? - and I ended up finding a very beautiful and peaceful spot at the Gates of Melancholy to sit and contemplate the craziness that has been life as of late. It was like taking a breather... Something that was very much a necessity... Now I'm raring to go once more... Bring it on world... Bring it on, but only if you're wearing a Bandana!

Lately my emotions have been causing chaos in my head... I've been letting things that shouldn't and wouldn't normally get to me in ways that have almost caused a breakdown. The mixture of emotions has been huge and although there have been happy times when I do laugh and joke around, recently it's been hard to find a lot of those. Mostly I'm hiding the true feelings away from people and that isn't good... ALTHOUGH last night I had myself a mini epiphany... I now realise... WHAT THE FUCK AM I DOING?! The people and things that I am letting myself get bothered by do not matter... If they mattered I'd have talked to those concerned and it wouldn't be an issue... SO, to all the little things that were bugging me... I am done, Fuck this... Let's move on an have a good time!!
Sorry for swearing so much... I don't normally let my potty mouth take over my hands while I am writing here to you, but sometimes you just need to blast out a few bad words... I'm not fake, I do not plagiarise other people's ideas to make them look like my own and I do not manipulate the things people say to make myself seem more important or look better, so for that I know that I'm the better, stronger person after all of this... I AM HAPPY BEING ME!!
I've let off some steam but I need to dance... Shake my booty on the dance floor and let my hair loose! I found the cutest club to do it in too... Tequila SunRise... Just look at the décor, it feels really well put together and looks awesome, but I wonder what the music is like. When I found it, it was empty... I will have to check it when they have a party going on!
My outfit was a bit of a reflection on my mood... The rude word of the day was not only showing in the statement on my awesome Azuchi Emily Crop top, which Mongo pointed out was less underboob and more boob out and that he wasn't complaining LOL, but also on my pretty cute Kibitz Necklace which proudly announced "Fuck You". My shorts too, although they do not come with swear words, are also RealEvil - RealEvil Industries that is hehe.
OK OK I am done, no more ranting and no more bitching LOL... I'm going to be HAPPY RUDHIE again!!! I promise, no more swearing, I'm done cussing like a sailor as they used to say - at least for a little while LOL...
