I'm still not doing very well, and I'm fed up of not working... I need something to bide my time and that seems to be a LOT of shopping. I'm shopping A LOT in SL, but I'm having to be very careful. My RL Birthday is coming up - less than a week now - but I'm not allowed to buy too much as people are telling me I have to let them know things I want as gifts LOL... It's hard for a shoppaholic to window shop...
Luckily I was doing some exploring and found the most gorgeous, photographer's dream sim. A little place called Windhaven. If you haven't been there yet, you need to check it out. I spent ages playing around, taking pictures and plan to go back more too...
It was whilst exploring the sim that I found this little boutique, and well the pictures just had to be taken, showing off a look-of-the-day as I "window shopped". There's nothing here for sale really, but it's just such a cute photography background, and it was cute to show off my outfit.

It's SATURDAY!!! For many people that's a time to go out and enjoy parties or dancing or shopping or other fun stuff, but for me Saturday is still a working day of the week... LUCKILY I have Rudh to go out and do the partying for me.
This weekend she decided it was time to start thinking about beach parties, she went exploring and found a place where the staff are all VERY deliciously helpful... The staff at Amagansett were delicious, and made excellent cocktails hehe...
There was a very nice man at the beach bar serving cocktails of all different colours and flavours, and the bar was cute and perfectly beachy. It got Rudh in the mood for some Saturday night cocktails and dancing.
Luckily this little crazy chick was dressed in beachwear to impress... A new Candi Dress - from epoch at anyBody - in a brilliant shade of blue which she accessorised with some new Twisted Shadows make-up - created by Zombie Suicide for Skin Fair - and an adorably kitsch Pineapple Clutch - which is is a new group gift for Fetch VIP group members! - that is perfect for a night at a beach party!
One more thing I want to do though, while on the subject of Zombie Suicide and Skin Fair, I'm wearing two of their releases for the event... The Twisted Shadows and the Veeka Freckles... I'm kinda high on cough medicine right now, so everything looks pretty and shiny and wonderful... It's a nice feeling, least it would be if I wasn't suffering the effects of a pretty bad cough and cold.
The world seems like a shinier, happier place, and that may not only be to do with the cough meds, the fact that the sun is starting to come out and it's feeling more like spring is in the air is a positive!

I'm sick in RL, my boss won't let me come to work. Normally that might not sound like such a bad thing, but I love my job and it's always fun to get into the store!
So for now I'm resigned to staying in bed, not that it's making me feel any better, and spending far too long playing games on my phone.
Rudh will have to get out there and start making the money... Make her work for a change!

I'm having a lovely lazy Sunday, my boss gave me the day off and it's given me a chance to have some much needed relaxation time. It feels like heaven and it's really inspired me to take some pretty pictures... It's even pulled out my inner pretty fae, that's right the dark me has been locked away as I'm feeling happy and relaxed and well... like being pretty!
I love this picture, there's a magic, a serenity and a playfulness to it... It seems perfect for my lazy Sunday!
Would you believe that this outfit started mostly because of a top and a pair of antenna?! Let me tell you the story...
Basically it started out with me falling head over heels in love with a top - the Mug Aura Shirt in white to be exact - I loved it with the pretty pink flowers all over it, and that's a really big deal for me since pink is usually one of my nemesis colours. I even dyed my hair pink and loved it more... Then I got stuck. I had NO IDEA what I wanted to do with the outfit, I was stuck floundering...
However, a few days later it came to me in the form of these adorable antenna from MuggleBorn. They are really called MissAlien Antenna - but I'm skipping the alien aspect of it because well even typing the word is making me shiver and want to cry... Though ignoring the bit I cant handle, the antenna were cute and made me think of a fairy somewhat... The addition of a pair of DRD wings to the look was perfect... So fairytale!
I just needed the perfect fairytale location... Skip forward a few days and LUANES MAGICAL WORLD!! It was perfect, a little swing in the magical gardens...
What a magical way to spend a lazy Sunday...

I'm really feeling tired today but luckily, my awesome boss gave us the day off tomorrow which means that tomorrow I can sleep! This look started with the top - a newish release from epoch for the current round of N21 with some super cute designs, including this Lol at U version.
Then because of the Lol at U idea I wanted something fun to go with it, that's where this adorable hat and hair combo from Doe came in. The Burr Bear hair is cute and fun and warm, although when I'm wearing this small of a top, just how warm is up for debate!?!
