Yesterday was my 11th Rezzday, I mentioned that before but I cannot help but mention it again. I was working on something weird and wonderful as a post today and it came to me that I had a pretty picture ready and waiting that perfectly fit my view of SL.
SL for me at least is a world of wonderful things, because you can find some of the most amazing and magical places where beautiful things come to life... Places like this location at WHOLE WHEAT, where the dusty study opens to create the edge of wonderland... One of my favourite places to roam... I could spend hours just daydreaming in places like this...
Places like this are the reason I've been able to keep coming back to SL for so long... My friends and crazy love of blogging help too but this location is just gorgeous...
It was the perfect place to set up an outfit post which could be another look of the day type I guess... I'm doing a lot of those at the moment, but I need to get my head into gear for a proper story.
So my look of the day consists of a gorgeous soft looking Serene Lace Dress from Petite Mort - which is available until September 10th at Trés Chic - accessorised with some gorgeous roses from LODE and a random.Matter choker, but with the addition of this gorgeous make-up from Zombie Suicide, called Ann Markings that is available at the soon to close Cosmetic Fair, this look was made into something magical that perfectly fit the surroundings.

Everyone has their favourite examples of things... If I said what's your favourite Candy, you'd have an answer. If I said what's your favourite book, I'm sure you could name something... But what about if I said what's your favourite bird?! That's a tough one for me, I love Robins but I think more than that I LOVE Flamingoes. I have lots and lots of Flamingo things, both in SL and RL, but for some reason this look of the day kinda screamed YAY as I found this field of artistic flamingoes at Ocho Tango Place...
Now, today is actually my 11th Rez Day in SL... I've been playing around with this Barbie for 11 years in a game that my RL mum referred to as a "phase" - looking back it's been much more than that as I've had 11 years of fun and friendships, met my RL Hubby AND am now calling SL work!
So still lets get on with my look of the day today, shall we?!
It started out because of this gorgeous Tropical Eyeshadows Pack and Akona Lipsticks Pack were sent to me from PSYCHO.Byts, which are available until August 31st at the Cosmetic Fair. YES I know time is running out, BUT they are still available!! I had an awesome dainty but so pretty necklace from Zombie Suicide that worked perfectly with the colours of this particular eye make-up, and a shirt from DATUM that worked with the oranges too, but it was the hair that was the topper for this outfit - Hair's at the top, get it LOL?! I LOVED this crazy wild hair from NYNE called Omena, and in this colour combination of the firey red and green highlights it really picked out the colours of the necklace!!!

I got my blogger groove back... I lost it for a while due to some over the top drama, but I think I have refound that spark which makes me tick... I've started to be creative again and I am actually finding it more therapeutic than I even remembered... WHY DID I LOSE MY GROOVE FOR SO LONG?!
Yesterday I was sent some awesome new make-ups from one of the stores that I have been working with as a blogger for a while, and it really sparked my imagination.
I never wear much make-up in RL, mostly because I am kinda crap at putting it on, but in SL it's soooooo easy... Just the click of a button... It allows you to experiment so easily with colours and styles... That's why today, I am trying PURPLE!
It's not my usual colour by any means, in fact normally I tend to shy away from Purple, but when I saw the colours in the new make up sets I kinda wanted to give it a try.
The Harajuku Facial Stickers, the Mitsuko Glitter Eyebrows and the Momotaro Lipsticks are all brand new releases from PSYCHO.Byts for the newly opened Cosmetic Fair!
If that wasn't enough purple, I randomly decided that I wanted to wear some purple hair - in the form of this Wasabi Pills "Chanel" style - and even decided to add some amazing Phantom Eyes from Suicidal Unborn...
The last accessory I added was these yummy looking Half-Deer Summer Delights Glasses that I have been waiting for just the right moment to wear... This seemed like the right kind of outfit...
Only problem was that under all the purple that doesn't really look like me, does it?

In RL I can totally 100% honestly say that I barely ever wear make-up... It's just something that I never seem to have time or the inclination to do. If I'm going out for something special then OK the barest minimum, the only time that varies is if I am going to a gig!
In SL things are slightly different, I barely wear make-up unless it comes on a skin already, but I am always seen without my scars... Though when I do smother Rudh's face in make-up it's usually very dramatic... Something rainbow bright or smudged and messed up, never plain simple - maybe not never but rarely...
This was especially the case when I went to the recently ended Cosmetics Fair... So many beautiful looks for you face, and I ended up smudging mine almost as soon as I was done applying it!
Well OK that's not entirely true... I bought the Smeared Makeup in a crimson tone from antielle... I HAD to have it, it was like a burning desire to make myself look like'd I'd been messed up lol...
The rest of my outfit was just purely and simply a look of the day!
I had been wearing some goodies that I had bought at the latest round of Suicide Dollz... A Forever Young Beary Evil Tank top in purple to match the ballet style Belladonna Wedges that The Horror had created for World Goth Fair - PURPLE who'd have thought it huh? LOL - and some [ abrasive ] Tattered Strap Leggings, for a casual but Rudhish look!!
Simple, look of the day... See I do that sometimes LOL I'm not always dressed up all crazy like!?!
