A Rest before the Salvage Station!

June 1st today, and there are lots of things going on in our little corner of the world that Second Life looks like a really fun and wonderful place to be... Pride at Home and the fun events surrounding Pride started today, leading in the events for the month... One of those events is totally different from the rainbows and sparkles of Pride, is the opening of Salvage Station... 
It's Electrifying... 

The Atomotel - a building kit from LORE for Second Life Syndicate's Salvage Station, opening today until June 30th - is like a neon mirage in the middle of the Grand Canyon desert... This perfect, little neon hotel is run by a little miss Frankie, who will welcome you to her hotel as you make your trip to the Salvage Station, so long as there is no funny business and she doesn't have to introduce you to her Stun Nail Bat - from Arts&Gear, also at Salvage Station - which will be more of a shock when she hits you with it than any normal bat...

The Most Magical Library

Tomorrow is my day off... I'm going to spend it reading a book and avoiding being an adult for a while - if you can over look the fact that my reading material would not be considered anything but adult - and I want to head to that magical place where the books are more magical than this crazy life I'm stuck in... I dislike RL people so much at the moment... 

If you need book recommendations then I'm definitely an advocate for Goodreads, and if Goodreads was personified she'd be the most magical of librarians... 
In their library, she'd be surrounded by magic and flying books, and the entire library catalogue will be listed within her Dark Academy Computer - from random.Matter at Midnight Order - so that she can magic up any information to lead us to the smut we desire...

Questing Souvenirs

The picture that I came up with in my mind today seemed to come from nowhere but somewhere buried deep in the hidden recesses of my mind... It was based around the thoughts of when you get a reward after setting a goal and completing it, which is something that I have been trying to do more of this year. 
I think in the back of my brain, I associated it with some kind of fantasy quest that a knight might have been sent on by a king with a problem... Maybe an ogre problem, maybe a witch problem... Ooooh Maybe a Dragon Problem... 

I've loved films and books and even the odd game like this, I remember having a bit of a addiction to the original Baldur's Gate games when they first came out... I have always loved knights and dragons and the medieval aesthetic. 
I keep having this weird almost Dad joke running through my mind as I was setting up my epic blogpost today. I kept thinking "If you have enjoyed your dragon slaying quest today, please don't forget to stop at the souvenir kiosk on your way over the drawbridge"... I chuckle but the She Merc - an outfit from Pucca Firecaster Creations at the Engine Room - in me, did make a pitstop at the kiosk, loading my Alchemist Pack - from Static, also at Engine Room - with books and dragon plushies but did I REALLY need that special looking Eyes of Eldritch Grimoire - from Aardvark at the Wizarding Faire - it's a must for every wizard but that would mean taking up a totally new profession?!

Inside a Wizard's Office...

 As the Midnight Order moves in, it is definitely calling in all of the magical and sometimes macabre beings into the dark.... Some of those just happen to be a little badly Mischief Managed, and happen to be a collection - or should that be a coven - of Wizards and Witches... There's a market for the management of mischief, and it just so happens that one of the leaders of the Midnight Order has been shopping for supplies... 

With the light glittering in through the Zadkiel Windows - from Schadenfreude at Midnight Order - setting out the new potion bottles on the table, and dropping just a little into the already crack cauldron, the witches Bean'o friends - from banana peel - seemed to be having a great time... 
The lighting in this room looks magical in itself, but a lot of that is due to the amazin collection of lighting - Dragons, Bats and even the adorably cute Owl - a new release from Krescendo at Mischief Managed...
