She ran into the diner and shouted "Gimme all your pie, or I'll shoot!"
Brandishing the biggest bazooka gun that she could lift, the cartoon character of a woman draped in an outfit that would make even Ronald McDonald jealous, stood in the doorway to the retro restaurant letting her eyes grow accustomed to the inside space.
"Bugger" she thought, "There's no one here!" After a brief moment, when a somewhat downhearted look passed over her face, she moved to rest her toy gun against the wall... It was heavy and actually it was kinda hot due to the fact it was fully loaded with fresh hamburgers - her ammunition of choice for the day...
With the briefest of looks to check there truly was no one around, the woman bounced over the counter and reached for the maple pecan pie... Realising there were no forks available, she went for the caveman approach and shovelled it in... Before snatching up her weapon and disappearing into the night.
All that remained for the diner owner to find the next morning, were the faint lingering smell of hamburgers - though that wasn't unfamiliar in the diner, and the empty plate with a note saying "Next time I want Cheesecake!" with a name scrawled beneath that read The Fastfood Bandit!
The look that I pulled together for this was random I know but I had things in my inventory that had been collecting dust and I thought they needed to get out into the light of day. I found the location by chance but if you haven't heard about this place you might want to check it out. The diner is located at Gachatopia - a place where people can rent stores just to resell their gacha items... I think this is a bloody brilliant idea... I might have to think about trying to rent one myself?! Who knows... But if you have a need of something to make up a set, then wander around here, you never know what you will stumble across!
The outfit started in my head as a pair of tights, the Good Gravy and Fries tights from Sugar Heart, and the PizzaBoots from Rachel Breaker, but in my mind I knew I couldn't stop there... Sometimes I get caught up in an idea too much hehe... I went all out fast food, starting with the dress - which sadly is no longer available, and then accessorising with a headband and hat both from yumyums, an eye patch from Blah and some jewellery that is no longer available too... That's one of the things I love about having a journal blog, I can dig deep and still share things that might not be brand new.
The last thing that the Fast Food Bandit needed was her special weapon... This Bazooka was a past release at The Arcade from Tee*fy, and although the Burgzooka is perfect for robbing the diner, I had a really hard time choosing the weapon I wanted LOL...

I got very lucky when it comes to Berry's Meme this week... Her Meme is based around her fake honeymoon with her rather handsome fake hubby, but the key theme is actually an interview with questions from someone else to her... We needed to have a photo with someone else, or at least that was what I felt I needed when I saw the instructions, and so I go back to being very lucky because I had the perfect picture in mind...
This is my friend Dyson. I would consider this awesome, funny, caring, friendly guy to be one of my besties - someone I talk to on a daily basis and feel a void if I don't get to speak to him... Hehe soppy shit I know but you know how it is with some people, there aren't many I would say things like this for, but Dice is one of those!
So when I saw that Berry was asking us to be interviewed by someone, I knew I had the prime opportunity to share this awesome photo of us... He willingly gave me a few questions, some of which seem kinda hard, but it's time for some answers so here goes nothing...
Dyson: How did you get started in SL? I was originally playing another on-line community game, a little like SL only less realistic I suppose, called Furcadia. I wasn't keen at first but I was dragged into that game by a boyfriend at the time and became part of a little social circle. One of the guys discovered SL after looking for a place that was more advanced and gave him more freedom to be able to create things. We all got pulled into the SLuniverse with him and that is how Rudhmellowen as you know her now came to be hehe...
Dyson: How did you get started blogging? I always used to say "No, No way!" when people said would I ever blog. The people I knew with them at the time were using them as a way of bitching about people, and that wasn't for me. Though I guess it tickled my imagination and I began looking into other blogs, I loved the ones in which people shared their SL experiences without being cruel to others, and I began to realise that chronicling my SL in a blog would be like keeping a journal - something I could look back on and remember the time I'd spent playing with an on-line Barbie doll lol... So I held my nose, took a breath and dived in head first - on September 11th 2010 - letting myself get addicted ever since hehe...
Dyson: What's the origin of your name? That's another long winded story, but basically when I was younger - and still today in fact - I was very heavily into all things Tolkein. I wanted something that would stand out in a crowd and so I worked out a name for myself that could possibly be found in a Tolkein imagined, Elvish household.
Dyson: What's the genre or style that inspires you most? God that's a hard question because you know me, I like to be fairly eclectic. Though I guess I tend to veer more towards Gothic than mainstream. I usually tell people I am a zombie too, and then again very occasionally my rainbow Kawaii side springs to life... I am so complicated hehe... I guess I will say that I am most inspired by the Gothic/horror style.
Dyson: Where's your favourite place to take pictures? I know it will sound boring, but I think one of my favourite places to take pictures tends to be the family swamp. I love the natural feeling, but I will admit that the ability to rez props and the like here is also something that wins big brownie points. I LOVE to explore and take pictures in new places but the majority of my photography seems to be done at home.
Dyson: What's your favourite store? That's another tough one. I love places like MishMish and Intrigue Co because of the sheer adorableness of stuff that they create. I love Magika, Wasabi Pills and Ploom for hair, KOSH, Cute Poison and Maxi Gossamer for jewellery and well I wear a good deal of SAKIDE clothing... The problem with choosing my favourite clothing store is that I tend to just buy things that I like when I see them and will buy from all kinds of different stores, so I could never say just one, more like just one that I like a lot right now hehe!
Dyson: What's your biggest fashion. . .What's that word. . Faux Pas? Hmmm well now that I think about it, I tend not to fit in with the crowd of people that I seem to be around a vast majority of the time... I'm always reminding myself of New Years Eve when suddenly a large number - possibly about 20 or 30 people - from our friendly allied MCs appeared at the swamp. They were all dressed in what I could call biker uniform of black leather and denim and there was I dressed like a bright blue mermaid of land style look... I really felt uncomfortable for a while, because I didn't fit the biker norm... Now I look back on it and think 'If ya don't like it then it's your problem not mine and I am not changing for anyone!'
Dyson: What is your favourite personally created piece of art? Or which piece are you most proud of? Well another hard one, thanks Dice LOL... I have to say that looking through my Flickr collection there are a few that seem to jump out at me as special, although I do love them all!
* The first was one of the ones I created for the colour challenge during it's second outing. It was the first time I'd done any major photoshop tweaking... I called it a "Divine Gold Water Sprite".
* Another was made as a celebration of the 52 Weeks of Colour Challenge coming to a final stop. A bunch of the regulars - myself included - got together to create a special photo as a means of Thank You to the challenge founder, Luna Jubilee... Check the photo "Panties for Luna".
* Lastly in this picture collection I love this photo of the Lyrica Gallery that I took. Normally I don't take photos of places, let alone share them on Flickr, but this time was different because I was asked to show my photos at the gallery. I almost fainted when I was asked, was the most other worldly experience, but I guess it is one I am proud of... I had to get a photo of my work up, in the "Rudh at a Gallery" shot.
Dyson: What non-visuals give you inspiration? I get VERY inspired by music and my finished photos will always reflect that. Anything that gets me singing and dancing will always get a slightly more vibrant picture out of me, but recently one of the songs that I put on to drag something good out of me is the version of "Feeling Good" by Nina Simone.

I've been trying to do more exploring lately... I felt that instead of being stuck on our build platform - or being surrounded by bikers, although that at times has it's perks - I needed to find more interesting places to enjoy. So I went looking for interesting locations that I could use in photography. I see so many people posting pictures on Flickr at gorgeous locations, I needed to see some of these places for myself.
One of these locations was the Isle of Mousai... This place has a number of different areas set up, that seem perfect for any photographer - no matter what you're style of taking photos is.
The old, abandoned theatre was the place that stuck in my mind most. I don't know why but I think I was drawn to the decadent glamour mixed with the abandoned desolation... How's that for romance huh? LOL...
Anyway, the look was something that I randomly pulled together... It all came about purely and simply because one day I was looking for something on the marketplace and I spotted this gorgeous dress that screamed "BUY ME" at the top of it's lungs. The dress comes from *X*plosion, and is available in a collection of colours and fabrics, but to me the simple black ripped dress was something I HAD to have! The outfit then seemed to create itself as one item after another came together to create something akin to a gangster moll after the apocalypse hehe... The adorable Claudette hair from Wasabi Pills - that I have had my eyes on forever - the combination of Yummy pearl necklace and KOSH Avain key necklace and the long cigarette, not forgetting the booties that look like spats from JD, just screamed vintage 1920s glamour.

Though lots have bad things have been going on with me lately, I wanted to take some time to try and have a little fun again. After all, that is what SL is all about isn't it?
I was wearing an outfit that I really liked and decided to have try for another hash-job at making an attempted look of the day style post...
Rudh is officially now a big game hunter lol... That is if the big game is teddy bears and the hunting can be done in heels whilst at home LOL... The Teddy Bear in question is actually a sofa, from the store Dirtyland, that belongs to my daughter Kenzee, but is so cute that I let her leave on the roof of my play house. The pose that I am using, however, is one from Sparrowtree Studios called Pilgrim Girl.
I kept the majority of my outfit fairly simple - a cute black jacket and tank top combo from Corvus, hair pulled back into a pony tail from Ploom and some simple but cute black heels from GField, and all of this was due to the in-your-faceness of these awesome pants. The pants are something that I have had stashed in my inventory for a while, and have been looking for something to wear with them since I bought them, but they have been calling to me... Made by DRBC the skinnies have that POW factor, especially considering the POW is written across your butt!

The last post I wrote I talked about the Project Limited event that is being hosted by the Depraved Nation group. I was sucked in by the Cute Poison piercings, but I will admit that it was when Jaimy Hancroft shared the details of the items that she would be providing from Death Row Designs, I knew I HAD to get in...
Luckily I had a little help!
The help came from my very own - brand new - lucky Fortune Cat available at MishMish. The Chinese Fortune Cat - or maneki-neko - is meant to bring good luck to it's owner, and BOY did this little one bring me luck.
I had decided I wanted these boots from Death Row Designs SO BAD, that as the opening time for the even rolled around I was itching to get in to get my hands on them. I knew they were limited and I even found myself praying to the Gods of SL hehe... Then my luck got even better because when I got over to the location - eventually I might add - they still had boots in both gray and black colours available... I did a little happy dance, then began to umm and aww over which pair I wanted... HellBone slipped me the lindens for BOTH pairs and the kneepads too...
Sometimes he spoils me, but seriously I have to think that the MishMish Fortune Cat was the real reason I got lucky and I am telling you now... THIS CAT IS HERE TO STAY hehe...

Life has been difficult. If you read my last post you would see that drama seeped into my SL world and took hold, but I have finally decided to shake it off, tell it to hit the road and I am trying to get back to my old self! If I want drama I will watch a soap opera, thank you very much, SL is my place to relax and play not worry about being made to feel bad.
So with that I am jumping back into the blogging band wagon. I've been feeling like I have abandoned it for a while, and even though I post, some of it feels like it has been more robotic than fun to do... Hence why this post feels a little more like a breath of fresh air for me... I am finally feeling back to my old self again!
LOL back to my old self sees me getting into a coffin for sleep, what does that tell you about me and my SL? LOL - by the way no I am not a vampire, just a classy zombie who sleeps in a coffin hehe...
Anyway, the look was inspired by two things... Firstly - and not something that is very clear in the picture above and thus has been shown below in two close-up shots - was a set of piercings from Cute Poison. This new Hush Piercing has been released for the Depraved Nation Event called Project Limited, and means that only a few of each design will be available. They come in three different colours - black, silver or neons - and I love the fact it has multiple piercings without looking like you have been shot in the face with a be-dazzler... I am sorry but some places really do seem to make piercings that look like that, personally for me I feel that Cute Poison piercings are amongst the best in SL and I wouldn't want to wear anything else! I feel naked without them LOL...
The rest of the look, however, was inspired by the vintage pin-up glamour style that came to mind the instant I pulled this corset from ImmateriA on. I wanted to keep the look sophisticated and elegant, so I pulled on my favourite vintage style hair, the Veronica from Wasabi Pills to be precise, and some gorgeous vintage looking Mae Platform Heels from Gos Boutique. Then me being me I had to Rudify the look a little, or in this case make myself look dead LOL, a dead skin and a few face wounds really helped with that, and though thinking back on it, I could have added more blood, I do feel happy with just the bare minimum hehe...
So to close off this ramble about two awesome things, that I personally think people should own as they are brilliant pieces to mix and match with other items in your wardrobe, I am including the close-up of the Cute Poison Hush Piercings - only the black and neon versions - but I think you will get the idea hehe...

It's that time again, the time when I post a pretty picture before I open up with a rambling rant to clear my head. My blog has always been more of a journal for me than some other blogs out there... I love looking a the fashion blogs myself, always searching them for something new and cute I simply cannot live without, but this place right here has always been a place I can express myself and share what is going on in my crazy mind.
Sometimes I think back on the days when I first started SL, and my first job as a stripper for a guy called Audio, and I wonder how did it all become so dramatic...
So I warn you now, reading on from here could make you go stir crazy as you enter into one of my rambling rants... Details about my outfit can be seen below the rant and I am sorry to bring people into this, but I need to get things off my chest and at least here I won't be getting into any fights lol...
*sighs* OK, where to start?!
Have you ever had one of those days where you wish you could close your eyes, go to sleep and wake up to start the whole thing again? I've been stuck like that for the past couple of weeks and boy do things build to a crescendo fast in SL. I would sleep and wake thinking things will be brighter when in fact the shade of mud colour just seemed to get murkier... There have been times when I just wanted to walk away but that would take me away from my love of tempting SL God fate!
Drama seems to be swirling around me like a lingering bad smell and if it's not one thing it's another... Something bad happens, it gets resolved and automatically another moves in to take it's place. People walk away from things they love, other people hide their true feelings and you end up feeling used and abandoned, but I guess in the long run it's taught me a few simple life rules.
These last few days alone have taught me that although I am the kind of person who will ALWAYS let people into her heart, and will always trust them, I have to resign myself to the fact that some people will walk all over you, take what they want from it and then drop you when they are done.
Adopting family is always going to be a risky business in SL, I won't be adopting anymore children from now on... First I lost daughters and now I lost my son. He left without even talking to me - he left the MC first -which was nothing in comparison to the shocker of him dropping me from his SL completely.Nothing feels so bad - from a SL point of view - as to when you let someone in, someone that knows how badly something had affected you, and they go and do the exact same thing just a few weeks later.
Maybe I made the mistake of following an order of a ranking officer in MC business - apparently the reason he left the MC in the first place - but surely if I'd meant as much to him as he meant to me, then he could have come to talk to me about it rather than avoiding me and talking to others behind my back? Maybe he just wasn't as ready as he thought he was for the kind of family life that Hell and I were giving him? Maybe there was something else I did wrong that he is too scared or selfish to come and talk to me about? Whatever the reason, I am done worrying, done crying and done thinking about it... It's time I moved forward with my SL, time I took control of it again and time to find people that are actually worthy of sharing my SL with me... I don't know if he will read this, but if he does... I do wish you the best in your SL, just remember next time there are people behind the avatars and your actions can and will hurt those around you.
