Running through the Snow

I'm going to need a little magic to get me through today... If it's anything like yesterday, it's going to need to be some pretty heavy duty magic at that... I have the draconic looking - and kinda scary - boss breathing down my neck already and I've only been sat at my desk for about 15 minutes! This enchanted princess needs to RUN... Far away... Where to I don't know but I'm hoping there is a hero - a knight or a viking perhaps, because Vikings are HOT! - to rescue me... For now though... RUN!

Yes it's snowing and she's not wearing an aweful lot, but you don't always have time to change if you are going to run away hehe...
There are a few things that I love about this photo, firstly I love the serenity and magical look to it, but more than that there are two VERY gorgeous items that I fell instantly in love with and was super excited to see working well together!
The hair I am wearing is from Truth - at this month's We <3 RP - called Solace. It's gorgeous, one of my favourite new hairs from Truth and it's even better as it comes with bangs so that you can wear the hair with or without them! I was even more excited when I realised that the {anc} Illumination Surgical Mask, that is a gift at The Arcade looked great and fitted perfectly with the hair!
I made her look even more mystical by wearing some ghostly eyes, and adding the Mystic Mirror Head Chain from [ abrasive ] to her forhead!
I'm running, but please if you're some kind of Viking Warrior, come and save me... Pretty please?!

OK so I mangled the nursery rhyme just a - well a lot - but it fitted so well with the feeling of my photo that I couldn't resist. The backdrop of the photo was the entire reason I managled the nursery rhyme but I will blame it on the store that I am wearing a LOT of my outfit from today - SongBird - as it was their home location which provided the woods to pose in hehe...
The outfit, in fact a lot of this look, can be grabbed at the store that is SongBird, although you may not find all of it at the main store as yet. The Outfit is called Blood Doll - it's a new release that you can pick up at a new event called The Vampire Chronicles Event - and you can get it with or without blood. Actually, while I am thinking about the new event, you can also grab yourself the bite mark - from SongBird - at the same event. I also have SongBird socks on... The Five Pointed Stockings were a past event release but they were just too good not to wear with this outfit!
As per usual I went to town accessorising the look I had put together, from the crazy Carnivorous Jaw - created by Contraption that is one of my FAVOURITE items in my hoard - to the three necklaces - available top to bottom at Tabou Irresistible, 7mad;Ravens and [Fetch] - and even remembering that if the teeth weren't enough to scare you in the forest, then maybe an Axe might come in handy...

Just remember, if you go down to the woods today, you have been warned AND avoid people that will smile at you...

Autumn Colours

One of the reasons that I am most in love with the Autumn - or Fall - season is the change in the colours... Don't get me wrong I LOVE seeing lots of greens when Spring is in full force, but the firey colours of Autumn always make me feel happier!
Maybe it is the time of year that animals start hibernating, or maybe it's due to the fact that we get to start wearing the cosier style clothing, but this time of year makes me want to snuggle up and watch the colours in the trees change!

This has to be one of my favourite pictures I've taken as of late, and the reason is the way that it all seems to work so effortlessly... The colours, the outfit, the lighting and even the pose just make the photo seem natural, as if Rudh was just wandering through the long grasses on a hazy Autumn Day!
The location of Alirium is just perfect for that late Autumn feeling...
The outfit was one that I just randomly pulled on but instantly found myself in that warm snuggly feeling, and I KNEW I would need to go somewhere to take pictures of it hehe...
Along with my adorable Ploom Pwny Pigtails and the deer headband, I kept accessories simple, finding the perfect necklace from n-creation, which is an oldie but a classic I had been waiting for just the right time to use. Both the Jacket - with it's shirt - and the jeans are things I have worn before but you have to love when you find things in your hoard that just work!!! I was more than a little excited and when the photo came out like this well... For me at least that never happens hehe...

Keep Your Eyes Open

Now, Halloween might be over, but coming from me, I'd hope that you know by now I am always going to veer more towards the macabre than the girlie... Right?!
So, that having been said I was browsing through a selection of notecards for new releases and DAMN when my eyes fell upon the releases from [ContraptioN] over at the latest round of Uber - with this month's Macabre theme - I couldn't get into the event fast enough hehe...

There was actually a lot more that I wanted from the event than I had initially thought... First though let me talk to you about the [ContraptioN] items hehe...
The Death's Smile Mask is simply two wires of teeth over the mouth. They don't move, so if you are one of the people that talk on voice and watch the lips move, then you might be in for a bit of a shock when they remain static, but don't they look awesome?!
The Wide-Sight Eye attachment is a little different, because the eyeball is fixed to your own eyes, the thing moves LOL... It weirded Jimmy out a little, and that made me crack up laughing - weird Rudh score 1 LOL...
Whilst shopping at Uber - which is where you can currently grab these awesome [ContraptioN] goodies - I also found this great hair from little bones... It comes with the laces in one side, and two different variations of fringe!
My dress is an oldie but one of my favourites, and it seemed to look perfect with the new chokers from Cute Poison. These chokers are available for the Rumplestiltskin themed round of Enchantment, which as I mentioned before is where you buy an item, get a stamp card and collect the stamps from each of the participating stores then head to their secret location to chose a prize from a collection made up of all of the participating designers! The difference is with this and some of the other items that can be bought for Enchantment is that these items are from a gacha machine!
The location is one to check out too... It's by the creator Cica Ghost, and I LOVE everything that comes outta this creative mind! This time Little Town seems a little Steampunkish and maybe a little Burtonesque?!
