A Sunny Day, A Cold Drink & A Good Book

A day off to enjoy the sunshine... I AM NOT a fan of the hot weather, but I do LOVE the fact that it's not cold, wet and raining at the moment. The fact that it's Sunday and therefore a day of rest, means that I can legitimately sit around a read all day without consequences... Nothing needs to be done today, nothing but making sure I have something nice and cold to drink and a good book to read... 

Since I can't but Rudh can, she's decided to take a littl break to find somewhere cooler... A fancy over the sea cabin on the island of Bora Bora - which is actually a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis since there is no way I'll be able to get there in RL any time soon - she's found herself a super cute cocktail in a Duck Tumbler - from Boutique #187 - and a good book...

Strange Day at the Beach

 After dinner today I finally sat down to watch some silliness on the TV, but for some reason I was feeling so much more like snoozing that my mind drifted off to far off shores, where the sun was shining and the waves were rolling up the golden sands on the beach. It might have been because the show on tv happened to be Below Deck, as normally I would hate being on the beach where it's hot lol, but I couldn't stop the feeling of desiring that, in this moment... 

On the Pacific Shores - a backdrop from Synnergy - Rudh had set herself up a perfect little spot on the beach, some sunchairs and a cool pool for keeping her drinks chilled. Her puggy friends making themselves at home, one in a ring to head out for a swim, and the other planning on getting a tan... Slipping out of her shorts but keeping her shirt on to avoid any sunburn - thanks to the adorable new outfit from miss chelsea, available now at Anthem in a variety of different colours and patterns - but suddenly there was a shift in the air. Glancing over her shoulder, there was one of the most dangerous predators on the beach... A CARDBOARD LAND SHARK - from Hilted - the only way to escape was to run into the sea where he can't follow me!!

Getting Christmas Crafty!

Back to work... Like a good little worker bee! Busy making pretty gifts for anyone buying cheeses for Christmas!
So inspired was I that when I got home I decided to dig through my arts and crafts stuff... it's time to get Christmas Crafty!

Cute little tree - from Ariskea - will be help with making some pine wreaths, a bag of coal so I have a gift for my Daddy at the ready - thanks to Dust Bunny - but cookies ready for my Mommas too - thanks to Ayla at The Arcade - and some Arts and Crafts supplies from Star Sugar... OH AND I cannot forget a delicious cup of cocoa with a Kit Kut for when I need to take a break, since I have to follow the rule stated on my brand new Petite Mort Winter Chill Out set. 
The new set from Petite Mort is actually a gacha release for the Imaginarium, and it comes in a range of different colours and patterns, so as usual it's great to mix and match! For the record, there are sneakers available in the gacha too but for some reason I had to wear some snuggly Maizey Shearling Boots from Reign instead... WARM TOES, MMMM!!
