The Phoenix Will Burn...

There are things going on in my mind and I am at the brink of being exhausted, we have high season coming atg work and things are going to get even busier... I feel like I NEED to get myself some rest but for this week that won't be happen.. I'm going to have to find myself a way to be strong, burn through the exhaustion and rise like a phoenix from the flames... 

The Phoenix version of myself, I feel, would be more demonic than angellic. A twisted grace that burns hot and fast, and rises through the exhaustion to power through until she has a moment to relax and recharge... 
She's dark and mysterious, with a demonic twinkle in her eye. She wears Ngami Drapes - an old gacha collection from CUREMORE in the voodoo tribe set - and lets the dark magic of her burning swirl through the air but her ailments hang around her neck in a chokehold... She keeps good company in the Phoenix temple, the birds sitting around guarding their ashes - birdies that are older but still awesomely pretty from Hextraordinary - as she wiles away the time resting in her Soar Seat - from Krescendo at FaMESHed until March 27th - and watching the darkening clouds scatter through the sky...

Titan of Greek Myth

High in the temples of Mount Olympus, home to the Gods and Goddess of Ancient Greece, if you look really carefully you may spot one of the titans... These beings share god-like powers of the original Gods of Greek mythology but are descendants rather the the original and more well known deities themselves...
These Titans are beautiful but dangerous, ethereal and powerful but in my case - considering how my usual life as Rudh is - possibly fairly dangerous?! For now though, let's just stick with beautiful... 

I know it's not Halloween anymore, but one thing I still love doing is coming up with random characters and their stories... I've been looking into the names of the Titans due to an avatar that I use for my work. I'm happy to say that my work avatar is named for intelligence and intellect, rather than destruction as in another case which makes me laugh out loud... 
Yet once again the outfit I put together took on a life of it's own as I began creating it... 
First of all, I fell in love with this gorgeous dress from Sweet Kajira as soon as I tried it on at We <3 RP, the softness that it has, the gemstone like colours, it was just WOW!! So hard to choose the colour I wanted! I could have had them all hehe... 
Although it wasn't until I was messing around trying things out to create a look, that I found this Greecian Titan coming to life... I had been going through some things I had waiting to blog and remembered these amazing wings from lassitude & ennui - which are the Seed of Inspiration at this month's round of The Gacha Garden. Accessories for this look were kept simple, and the location was a VERY lucky find - check out the Time Portal Roman Time Zone, yes I KNOW it's not Greek but they have a similar architecture kinda! - as was the pose I chose to use LOL... This pose is a NANTRA release, but I'll admit it's missing the props that are intended for use with it! Swinging through my dreams

This morning I feel like I am wandering through a dream... It feels like a very vivid dream but at the same time I don't feel like I am actually awake whilst doing the normal everyday things... It's such a strange feeling... I even tried to use my work key card - the thing I use to operate the doors in my work office - to try to check out of the bus!
So the photo that I have chosen to talk about - although I keep reading this OVER AND OVER because I forget what I am saying so fast lol - is one that kinda fits with the dreamy feeling that I have today... It's a totally different picture than I would normally make because it is very feminine, there's a lack of blood, no gore and I'm wearing pastels with floral print...

Thinking about it there must be something a little strange going on, I wonder, perhaps I have been possessed or something?!
Anyway, I would LOVE to be sitting right here right now in RL, just as much as in SL... Gazing at the clouds, surrounded by the pretty scent of cherry blossoms, watching the branches sway in a gentle breeze and every-so-often if the mood hit me I'd swing my legs to get the seat moving just a little... It sounds like a little slice of heaven, doesn't it? All I need now is a sexy - and perhaps dark - angel to push my swing, and maybe a cup of tea LOL... I am so Rock'N'Roll... LOL...
The swing itself is a pose prop from Signature Pose - called Spring's Swing - although it has been released at an event I've never heard of called Le Petit Faire... It includes a number of different poses, including some for couples, so I would be lucky if the hot Angel boy did appear, then he'd be able to push me at least LOL...
I'm wearing a variation on a dress that I have been wearing a lot recently too... The SAKIDE Bloom dress, is a variation on the Dip Dress that I wore in a recent post about bubbles hehe... I just felt really drawn to these dresses and have been wearing them so much recently, even though they are not my usual style!
All in all a very non-Rudhish but so pretty girlie photo... I LOVE IT, it's different, and it really fits the dreamlike mood I am in today LOL... Someone wake me up?

Her Lovers Hand...

Horror Haute is almost coming to a close for the month of February... The Dark Duets are once again being resigned to the darkness and will no doubt haunt that  romantic darkness for always. Finally the Valentine Month is coming to a close, The line-up of Horror Haute will close a day later however, February is such a short month and who doesn't love an extra day to find some awesome goodies! 

Sometimes you get things from designers and think WHAT THE HECK am I going to do with that?! This was one of those times, because as I unpacked the decorative item "The Hand that Loved" from La Maison des Corbeaux I will admit that I had a MASSIVE blogger block LOL... Then I was thinking, what would I do if someone gave me the hand of someone I love on a stick, that was still wearing their wedding ring!?! I'd cry!!!
This mystical warrior princess has just been handed the mounted hand of the man she loves...
The warrior princess wears the most amazing accessories... The leather tasselled collar and it's matching epaulettes are a release for The Fantasy Collective from May's Soul. They really called to me, as did a LOT of things from this month's line-up of industrial goodies! A halo from [TfAtN] marked out her mystery warrior element, but it was the mask that gave her the true power. The Mask of Poulpe ImmateriA, the part of the warrior units Dark Masquerade ceremonial garb! 
The last part of her outfit that you may want to pay attention to, is the amazing necklace from Kunglers Extra. A Beautiful Elenyr Necklace in the Obsidian tone... So intricate, so gorgeous... I may have to get more in other colours!!!

Happy New Year 2015

The curtain closes on the old year, and a new one begins... The world is waking up slowly here in Holland, although it's already 11am - as I post - a heavy cloud of gray blue gunpowder stained smog hangs in the air... A silence you could cut with a knife fills is all you can hear, and the sense of calm after the crazed night of partying is like a mini heaven. 
It's at this time that I often find myself in a contemplative mood... I start thinking back over the year that I've had, the experiences I've shared with people and the things that have made me stronger... 
Maybe you'd bear with me as I vent my feelings...

Let's have a little think... RL first... The most obvious thing that has changed for me this year is that I went from being a Miss to a Mrs, HellBone and I tied the knot in April and although nothing changed in our relationship I started to feel more grown up, more like an adult than I ever have before. 
SL I am proud to say that, even though it gives me a HUGE amount of headaches, the Gators MC is flourishing. We had some very bad times in the past year, but as a family we've pulled through and proved to each other time and time again we're better off together than alone! 
Neither life has had any major changes, and you know what, I like it that way... 
I've grown closer with some of my favourite people, connecting with friends I thought I'd lost. There have been fights too, but then again there always is. I've lost people yes, but if they don't fight through the trouble then I've learnt that it's not worth clinging on to! I learnt that the hard way this year! 
My blog has continued to be my favourite past-time - or should that say addiction?! - allowing me to express myself though my words and my pictures, in a way that no other medium could. OK so I'm not the most widely read blogger, and I don't have a massive amount of likes on Flickr, but that doesn't bother me... I still, as always, do this for me and me alone! I've improved - as far as I'm concerned - and I love the direction that my newly improved skill is taking me, I will strive for better but so far I'm happy hehe... 
As for resolutions, well I don't tend to make proper ones... There are things I'd like to work on in both lives, but I will say one thing though, all I really want for 2015 is to be happy, healthy, surrounded by people who love me and able to smile at least once a day! That's not too much to ask is it?! 
Happy New Year everyone, I hope 2015 is a great one... Let's make it a year to remember shall we?!
